We had a wonderful visit at Land of Milk and Honey Farms! Our tour was done by Mackenzie and she did an excellent job of introducing us to all of the animals on the farm. She was super patient with all of our questions and we could tell that she genuinely loved her work there. We held sheep and even got to feed baby goats! We really wanted to take this little baby boy sheep home. Highly recommend taking the time for a visit!

We had such a fun day petting the lambs and baby goats. What a wonderful day! The owners are super awesome too. We honestly cannot wait to come back. If you're around the area you won't be disappointed. AMAZING!

We did only the lamb cuddling, no tour. There was just my husband and me. One lamb was okay with being held, and there was one more just a wee bit bigger who was hiding out under a piece of equipment in the pen. I didn't try to drag him out. I assumed that the hour we booked would be ours to ourselves, but a few minutes after we got there, a party of 4 or 5 women showed up. With only 2 lambs (and I had just the smaller one), I felt compelled to share. That meant my hour of cuddling was reduced to about 10 or 15 minutes. Fortunately, there were 2 newborn goats that had arrived that day and I held one of them. But once the women saw the goats, they wanted to hold them. With only 2 goats, I again had to share. Maybe it said somewhere that a booking could accommodate up to so many people, but I didn't see it if it said so. It was still an amazing experience, but would have been much better without the squealing girls who were constantly chattering and loud. I wanted and expected a more calm and private session because I thought it was just us during our hour, and that's not what it was. I do recommend it, but just know you may be sharing the experience with a larger party and you won't get as much cuddling time because everyone wants to hold lambs. That's what they paid for.

This is a lovely farm with lots of different animals. I booked a cuddle/bottle session for my grandchildren with the baby goats. We enjoyed the time with the animals and were not rushed at all.The lady and her son were so nice and friendly. The children want to go back and do a tour with all the animals. Highly recommend!

We had a free morning with nothing planned and were so happy that we could drop in on short notice! There were 2 baby goats that were just a day old that we were able to hold and feed, plus some lambs and their ewes to pet and hold. Was a very fun and a highlight of our weekend in the mountains!! Great experience, and a lovely farm!

Our Lamb Cuddle at the farm was absolutely amazing! We planned different activities for our family trip, but the Lamb Cuddles were by far the favorite!!! We had the luck of coming on the day a lamb had just been born a few hours earlier, and got to hold that little miracle. :). The owner included surprise cookies and hot chocolate at the end!!! I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, special experience for any age. đź’•

Such a lovely place. Owners were so nice. Booking was smooth with lots of email/text communication so we knew exactly what to do. We went for lamb cuddles, which was absolutely adorable, but I can’t wait to return for a full farm tour. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Absolutely amazing! The owners were the absolute sweetest and I LOVED the lambs. I felt so safe, she played music and stayed in the corner giving us privacy but was there if we needed any help or photos. There was not a single bad thing about this experience, please go!!

This was the best farm tour Ive ever been on. We had a blast and learned a lot. The highlight was cuddling with the sheep. The store was super cute with fair-priced items. The staff and family were really friendly and knowledgeable. Cant wait to go back!

Great experience doing the lamb cuddling tour. My wife and I loved getting to pet and hold the lambs while also learning more about them and everything the farm has to offer. Highly recommend the lamb cuddling or any tour the farm offers.

Had the best farm tour this morning. All of the animals were amazing and so much fun to interact with. The farm dogs, Ellie, Izzy & Rufus/Koda, all left footprints on our hearts as well. Such an absolute gem to visit! Can't wait to come back and visit again next time!

The experience was absolutely lovely. They had hot apple cider for us while we were walked through the property and shown all of their animals and their property. Then, we were able to purchase handmade items from their farm stand. I highly recommend for families!

We loved our tour of Land of Milk and Honey Farms. McKenzie was the perfect tour guide; informative, friendly and fun! My husband an I had a wonderful time meeting all the animals and exploring the farm. Petting and holding the sweet farm residents was such a treat. At the end of our tour we got to visit the store with beautiful cuts of meat, honey, jams and other homemade items. We own a vacation rental nearby and are so excited to tell our guest about this local favorite.

We stayed at Land of Milk & Honey Farms with Harvest Hosts RV program and it was a great experience! We had to get to Boone for a concert; there was enough room for parking both our 25’ RV and our SUV. Boone was only a 15-minute ride away, so convenient! The alpacas and pigs are so cute and there is a sweet little creek running through. Also there is a nice modular shower/rest room unit which is a big bonus for overnight stays. The little farm store has delicious local products for sale…we bought home made caramels, marshmallows, & apple butter. Also you could request different cuts of beef and purchase farm fresh eggs. If you’re anywhere near Boone, check out this family farm with fine & gracious hosts!

We recently spent a night at this cute little farm near Boone / Blowing Rock. See Harvest Host website for our review. It’s worth checking out even if you’re only stopping by for a short visit. They have a small country store out front that you can purchase a variety of items. Depending on season you can get different cuts of meats, eggs, honey, candies and baked goods. We got fresh eggs, ice cream, beef patties and sirloin steaks. The beef patties were very lean and the fresh eggs were fantastic. Two thumbs up and well worth it. Looking forward to having those sirloins. Check out their website and book a tour to see all their cute fury critters.

What a great time. We stayed at LOMH Farms as Harvest Hosts guests. Brad and Christa were excellent hosts, and touring the farm and meeting all of the animals was a highlight of our trip. Our girls fell in love with the piglets, but my personal favorite were the alpaca. Don't forget to stop by their little roadside farm store for some fresh farm fare, or some locally made goods.

We stayed at this farm through the Harvest Hosts RV program. Christa and Brad have started a neat grassroots farm from the ground up raising cows, goats, pigs, ducks, and bees for honey (thus the name). They give tours and have a nice boutique shop on site you can buy locally sourced honey, eggs, candy, and other neat stuff. Enjoyed our time there!

Nice farm area, unfortunately it rained while we were there and we didn’t do a farm tour which we always enjoy. The steak and ribs we purchased were excellent as were the caramels. Host are very friendly and I enjoyed talking with them. Parking is tight and location is not ideal for grilling but a worthwhile stay. We plan to come back again hopefully with dryer weather.
