Personal and professional from the first call to inquire. We are very pleased with our decision to try underground fencing for Sam. We were not sure how he would adjust to it since he had always been inside a chain link fence at our previous home. They showed up on time to all appointments, gave a free estimate, and installed our fence within the week. They walked our yard with us and together we mapped out the best location for our underground dog fence. They were very thorough in helping us train our dog and offered to return to help us if needed (we didn't, their instructions were excellent). Paid top dollar to have them come out and install fence and also purchased 5 collar’s… we have had 2 completely stop working and they did replace them. Installation day they advised me everything was covered unless you lost something . Well now I need a replacement and it’s not covered because it was chewed …. I proceeded to tell them they told me everything was covered unless I lost something… pretty much called me a liar 😞 no I find out they have chew protectors you can purchase.. why wasn’t I told about this??!!! I’m a business owner and I would never do business this way

I have been a customer of Dog Guard for 15 years! They are an excellent company. the owners Bee and Jock Brakebill are very friendly and professional. They are very prompt to fix any problems. Since we moved into this house, we have had construction next to the property line (invisible fence line) plus road repairs in the front yard. Dog guard was very attentive making sure that our out of sight fencing was always working properly and they quickly repaired any breaks caused by the construction crews. Our newest puppy loves playing safely in our yard! I would highly recommend this company!!!!

Dog Guard installed our underground fence several years ago for our now 13-year old lab. We added another pup to the mix last year and needed another collar/transponder. So pleased with Dog Guard! I moved into a home with an already existing Invisible Fence Brand system. I called Invisible Fence to have it adjusted for our dog and our needs, and the pricing was still SEVERAL hundred dollars. Also, they would not honor the warranty for the existing wall unit, since we were not the original home owners.I called Dog Guard and the staff was incredible! They were at my house within one day of my call...and their pricing was half as much as Invisible Fence! I also didn't have to deal with any persistent "up-selling" that I experienced with the other company. Dog Guard was very willing to use the existing Invisible Fence wall system and build from that!Later, when the Invisible Fence wall system was smoking (yes smoking!), the Dog Guard staff were on it! The woman on the phone first gave me tips on how to try to convince Invisible Fence to honor a warranty...her first instinct was NOT to just make a sale, but truly cared about my budget and needs. After a few phone calls back and forth to both companies, I decided to get a new wall system from Dog Guard (a couple hundred dollars cheaper!). They were out the SAME DAY. I love Dog Guard and will recommend them to everyone!

Bee was very patient in answering my many initial questions.I ended up shopping around, but ultimately decided to go with Dog Guard of Raleigh mostly because of my initial customer service experience and online review research.I explained to Bee that I was very particular and attentive to detail.On the morning of installation, the guys arrived early, explained the installation process and went to work.The workmanship was professional and precise. Everything looked perfect!!!
