Beautiful and stunning property! Location is perfect and you feel like you are at the end of the world. Very private area in a small village.Price for the room was very reasonable. I felt great about my two-night stay.Staff were amazing and so personable. They were very hospitable and accommodating. Zoe greeted me at check in and was very thorough in her explanation of the property and amenities.Room was well appointed with a huge bed, large cozy sofa, plus the expansive bathroom and double vanity. The room was impeccably decorated and very clean. The fridge and microwave were perfect for having small meals while on my trip. I enjoyed having real plates and silverware too.The town and area felt very safe and I loved that I was close to the coffee shop, little church, horse tours, and lighthouse.Junebug was the best welcome wagon.I will definitely be back to visit this beautiful place again!

I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Corolla Village Inn. The comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and Southern hospitality from the staff made it a delightful experience. The inn's location in Historic Corolla Village is perfect for exploring, and its charm adds to the overall appeal. My stay was during the Corolla Christmas Village event, and the location of the inn was perfect for exploring this winter wonderland. I highly recommend Corolla Village Inn for a memorable Outer Banks getaway.

Stayed two nights a week apart. Both rooms we stayed in were lovely and well appointed. So comfortable and we felt every amenity taken care of. Great little kitchen in the room and sitting areas. Perfect breakfast to start the day. Rode the bikes around the historic quiet village. The location is quiet and peaceful. Every staff member was friendly and helpful and could not have been nicer. We can’t wait for a return visit for a longer stay for pleasure.Rooms: Room was perfect. The Inn thought of everything we might need.Nearby activities: Great historic area. Lighthouse. Shops. Barbecue.

My experience at this place was amazing!!!First off, I made the reservation and my dates changed, and the Inn was very accommodating.I was flying in from out of state to Norfolk, and a friend from brasil was meeting me at the airport in Norfolk, so we arrived very after hours, and the team was extremely accommodating to our schedule. They gave us very detailed after hour check in instructions. The place is beautiful and extremely charming. You can tell they put a ton of time and thought into the construction, design and finishes. Our room was so charming and romantic...and most important of all, they really focus on the cleanliness of the rooms and property. As soon as you pick up a towel, you can smell how clean it is. Everything is spotless when you walk into your room. The location is also really good...the beach is right across the street, tons of restaurants near by, the coffee shop is really close by, you have easy access to the village.Parking is very easy, plenty of parking on the property.Lastly, the staff and owners are awesome...so nice and friendly and willing to talk and give you pointers on things to do.The list goes on and on, but honestly you should go experience it for yourself. The Outer Banks are charming as it is, and this little place completes it. I can guarantee you will enjoy your stay.Rooms: Very clean and nice!Nearby activities: Tons of restaurants, and Ikes is really good for a Friday night party!Safety: We felt beyond safe!Walkability: You can walk to most everything.Food & drinks: plenty of options nearbyNoteworthy details: 10 stars out of 5

The Inn is almost like a wellness spa. Beautiful, quiet location. Both the common areas and rooms excellent condition. Reception staff courteous. Owner lives locally & actually works some customer service shifts at the reception desk.Noteworthy details: bicycles free of charge to guests of the Inn allow easy access to both ocean and sound which are nearby.

We recently had the most pleasant, yet unexpected stay at the inn! We arrived to our home in Corolla at 7:30pm to find that we were not able to stay there due to a hot water leak having flooded it. At a loss as to where we could go with two large labs at that hour, our teenage son remembered the new inn. He looked on their website and found they had two dog friendly rooms. Thankfully one was available and they happily accepted us, large dogs and all! They even made up the pull out sofa for our son before we arrived! The room was beautifully decorated and well appointed. They even had a separate dog towel, blanket, sofa cover, and water bowl for the labs. What started out super stressful seeing our home in an uninhabitable state and not knowing where we could stay, turned into a delightful night in the most elegant/beachy accommodations! We are thankful to the staff for taking us in and to know we have options in our favorite home away from home.

We stayed there for a 4 day mini vacation celebrating my husbands birthday. The staff was so wonderful with helping me make the stay special by providing champagne bucket and glasses and hand picked flowers! The room was just perfect and smelled new and clean. It was so nice to have a small kitchenette for days we didn't want to eat out. We had our own bikes, but they had bikes you can borrow. While the location is not on the water, you can see the sound and it is just a short walk or bike to the oceanfront. We will stay here again for sure, it was VERY peaceful.

We had a wonderful couples retreat here at the inn! We stayed in room 5 and it was spacious, clean, and had a great view of the bay. The people at the front desk were super kind, welcoming, and helpful. The complimentary snacks, coffee, and drinks were nice to have in the morning before a beach day! And it’s not too far from a private beach entrance, and the privacy helped us safely socially distance from others. We will definitely be staying here again!!

There are two parts to this review. The first part is to say the Corolla Village Inn is a beautiful place to stay in an even nicer setting. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and have all these nice little touches that make it clear the owners take pride in running this business. The outdoor spaces and common areas complete the experience. The second part of this review is to encourage people to support these types of businesses. We lost our brother in law suddenly in November who is also a local business owner in Corolla. The owner of this hotel did so much to support my sister and her family including allowing us to stay at this hotel while we were down from Canada at no charge. Even after looking at the price we would have paid it’s amazing value for what you get. It’s these types of businesses we need to support!

What an exceptional property... Corolla Village Inn knocked it out of the park for our stay. Taking care of all the necessities (clean, safe, quiet, secluded) as well as delivering on the amenities (unique and thoughtfully furnished guestrooms and common spaces, crazy comfortable bed with a million pillows) this place is my new go-to in the Outer Banks regardless of the season. The best feature is that intangible level of hospitality you just can't place or describe but only feel and recognize when it is upon you. The staff make you feel simultaneously at home and like royalty and provide great recommendations as you sense their true love for the local community and natural surroundings. The inn itself does the same as the property is constructed equal parts cozy and luxury. I can't say enough about how positive our experience was from the touches prior to check-in all the way through regrettably having to depart. Amongst the best service I have experienced and most inviting spaces I have ever visited.

We cancelled five days ahead of our scheduled stay because of impending Hurricane Ian. The roads were not safe for us to make the drive from our house to the hotel. Because Corolla didn’t have to evacuate, they kept our $304 deposit. Very disappointed that the hotel wasn’t more understanding. I even asked if they could apply our deposit to a future stay and they declined. They should have made an exception to their cancellation policy considering the circumstances. I will find somewhere else to stay when we are able to visit.

Just spent a long weekend at this Inn. We had an awesome time! The people running it were all very friendly and super helpful. The building, grounds, and room were all great. Especially enjoyed, the close proximity to the beach and lighthouse. Rode bikes and walked each day. My wife loved the library in historic Corolla Village. We would highly recommend this as a beach destination!

This charming place is simply a treasure! Not only is all of the staff personable, responsive and attentive, the entire place feels like a home away from home - and with splendid amenities! We stayed 4 nights in September (returning after a wknd stay earlier in August!) and enjoyed their hospitality, information about local places and traditions, and also appreciated the use of their bikes and beach items. Spent some time also in their common area that features books to read and learned so much about the history and nature of the area. Also enjoyed their daily coffee, lemonade, snacks and petting the host dog! They are doing great with the new safety and health restrictions recently and we felt very at ease. We could not have been happier, would not stay anywhere else now and can't wait to return!! Thanks, CVI!!! Cheers from Team Warf

A Must Stay Location! Located conveniently within the Historic Corolla Village. The ambiance is super cozy and relaxing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are super comfortable. I also loved the shower pressure, which was amazing. Most importantly, the staff is phenomenal! Highly Recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon! The inn is nestled in the back of Historic Corolla Village, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The rooms are beautifully spacious; the bathrooms are immaculate. Management respects your privacy by only housekeeping as you request it, which was lovely. The room itself was perfect; temperature controlled and wonderfully quiet. We couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant stay!

My wife and I decided ,on short notice , to take a 3 day 2 night stay at the Corolla Village Inn , as part of our 41st wedding anniversary celebration. We could not be more happy on our decision. The Inn is gorgeous and beautifully located in the historic village of Corolla. We could see the lighthouse from our room. The staff was so friendly and engaging . The room was immaculate and clean. We stayed in room 12, which I was told is one of the larger rooms and it had a fireplace. This Inn is a hidden gem slightly off the beaten path, which we absolutely loved. We will definitely be back!!

This Inn is located away from the water and tucked in the woods which to me didn't quite promote the beachy atmosphere. Moreover, I felt the staff to be inflexible with us in particular. After explaining to them that in a few months we were returning, and we'd had a house in the area with family, and just wanted one night away for our wedding night, they refused to accommodate us stating they required a minimum of two nights, even for a once in a lifetime occasion such as a wedding. Terrible, will never come back.

Nestled under a canopy of Live Oaks in historic Corolla Village is the charming Corolla Village Inn!The Inn has a simple sophistication with comfortable common areas and lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy a glass of wine (and make new friends) away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Summer beach crowds. From the Inn, it is an easy (and mostly shady) walk to cute boutiques, the historic chapel, the Island bookstore, a coffee shop and art museum, a BBQ joint, Beergarden, and you can even climb to the top of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse! It is a short walk to the beach so you don't have to worry about parking, or the Inn has bikes you can borrow. The pantry at the Inn brews fresh coffee every morning with pastries and fresh figs picked from the garden! The Corolla Inn is a huge win...and we will definitely go back again and again!

Two of us stayed in room #5 for four nights. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The kitchenette had plenty of counter space, the living area had seating for up to 6 people and bed had super soft sheets. The bathroom had a double sink with motion sensors as backlighting. The shower had great pressure and lots of space. But the best part of our stay was the hospitality. We enjoyed visiting with the staff and grabbing snacks in the pantry every day. Take the extra time to rock on the porch and pet JuneBug, the resident dog. We borrowed the free bikes and chairs daily. It was super convenient. Thank you. We can’t wait to come back!

The Corolla Village Inn is a wonderfully beautiful gem in the quiet corolla village! My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in rooms 6 and 10, both of which were gorgeously decorated and very clean. The staff are friendly and very accommodating (we had a few hiccups during our trip and they were willing to find us an option that worked for our last minute plans). We will absolutely be back and recommend to friends and family for future trips as well!

OMG. We loved this place. We didn’t want to leave. They have it all. Bikes. Beach supplies. Board games. A library. They’re dog friendly. In room and lobby coffee. Pool access. A golf cart to take your stuff to the beach. The location is perfect. It’s a hidden gem. The surrounding business are so fun too: the beer garden, island bookstore, the juice bar, the lighthouse. It’s super clean and the staff friendly. I highly recommend this place. My husband and I are planning our next trip. We really love this spot and can’t wait to come back.

My husband and I have stayed at the Corolla Village Inn three times now. It’s such a beautiful little place of refuge that just keeps drawing us back. Every room is a little different but all are very spacious featuring beautiful high ceilings and tall windows. You can even spot art from local artists around the Inn. It’s great for couples looking for a romantic getaway or artists/writers/anyone in need of inspiration. During early fall evenings, you might even get lucky and see the Inn covered in tiny tree frogs. It is tucked just enough away to make it a quiet retreat from the normal touristy bustle of the Outer Banks. It’s within walking distance to the beach and the Inn provides bikes and beach equipment to borrow. We’ve always gone slightly off-season and have had beaches completely to ourselves. For those looking for more to do, it’s also within walking distance of the historic village and park, Whalehead Club, Currituck lighthouse, maritime museum, nature center, a beer garden, and the Kind Cup art market and coffee shop (where you can not only find souvenirs made by local artisans but also Lighthouse Bagels without having to wait in their giant lines). The owner also has a kayak/paddle board tour business within walking distance. Plus, the Inn is close to where the road ends if you want to drive on the beach up to Carova to see the wild horses or take a horse tour. It’s really quite a magical place with much to offer.
