This place was terrific. My daughters had a great time. The employees spent a lot of time explaining the instructions in a really nice and engaging way before your time started. I loved that you could start with level one and upgrade only if you wanted to; it gave them a good level of comfort. Both girls raved about how nice and helpful the staff was and had plenty of time to try out every part of the course they wanted to. The grounds were also really nice and made for an enjoyable afternoon for any spectators not climbing-perfect for parents not interested in participating themselves. We were able to grab a local beer at the bar and walk around the shaded trail to watch, sit at picnic tables and enjoy a game of cornhole or two in the meantime. Highly recommend!

What a great experience! All the kids loved it and ages ranged from 8-16, with all of them being challenged. Also, great spot for the parents as well. The owner was there and he was extremely friendly. The staff was amazing and they were so kind and helpful with the kids! If you are in the Outer Banks for vacation it’s a spot you should check out for sure!

My 14 year old girls really enjoyed climbing here. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgable. There was plenty of seating, activities and beverages for non-participants on the ground surrounding the coarse. Great views from the ground up to watch your climbers. This is a well-cared for course and grounds. I was lucky enough to see the chickens! We highly recommend Corolla Adventure Park!

Great ropes course with excellent staff and unique environment. We traveled an hour to go to this course. It is more shaded and has a lower level than the Nags Head course. Also have beer and snacks for spectators

I highly recommend! Yearly, our family visits OBX and one day of our vacation we like to take a break from the beach. We’ve done the water park, laser tags and go karts in the past. This year we decided to do the Adventure park in Corolla. IT WAS AWESOME!! The kids had so much (9 year old and 14 year old) but the adults also had a blast! It is challenging when you want a challenge but the park also provides easier obstacles that allow you to let you relax and have fun. The park itself was awesome but really I want to comment on the staff. We had 4 adults in our group and each of us was blown away by how great ever staff member we encountered was. Our tour guide was Kaylee and she was great with the kids. But the guides on the course were personable, encouraging and informative. I also bought pictures afterward and used the wrong email (my bad) and the team was compassionate and went above and beyond to figure it out for us.Long story short, if you have the opportunity to visit Corolla Adventure Park take advantage - you won’t be disappointed.

A fantastic ropes course with lots of great elements for everyone. Brought a 7yo and 9yo and the staff was very helpful in making sure they had a blast. Everyone was super friendly. Lots of other stuff to do for the non climber and lots of shady places to sit.I would bring bug spray if you come in the afternoon and are a non climber. Mosquitos were bad in the back area in the shade.

We spent the morning after Thanksgiving climbing and zip lining around Corolla Adventure park. Our group consisted of kids in the age range of 4-12 and they all have an amazing and fun day. The 4 year old was able to complete all of level 1 with a bit of help and cheering on. Our 9 year old braved and conquered level 4. My 12 yearold made a comment about how great the staff was, and he is so right. By the end of our visit they knew us by name. They were helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and fun. We will definitely e back to visit next year!

Great spot to burn an afternoon. Kids love the different difficulty levels. Adults love the little bar. Lots of other lawn games, a nice trail around the property and things to stay busy. Staff was also kind, chatty, helpful and good with the kids. Will come back for sure.

Absolutely the best climbing adventure around!During our vacation to Corolla, we decided to take on this challenge. And that it was… 4 layers of climbing up, around and through obstacles that increased in difficulty will wear you out! The staff members were extremely knowledgeable, happy and helpful. The challenge is - how far can you go? Be prepared to be tired. They do offer light snacks, ice cream and local beers too. The entire course will take some time to finish because this isn’t your ordinary climbing place! Take the challenge, you won’t regret it. Their pricing of photos and merch is very reasonable. I promise you’ll love this adventure.

2022 UpdateThis year we went Axe throwing! Our Axe-xpert, Madison, was great. Great personality, wonderful attitude in the 96 degree heat and made our visit all the more fun. The temps were a definite challenge but we enjoyed our time, again.________________2019Our kids had an awesome time. The course was challenging but very accessible to all three kids. The different obstacles at each level allowed them to pick what they felt comfortable with. There’s a walking path around the structure and provides several good spots to take pictures. There’s a bar for the adults and an ax throwing option. The staff was fantastic, patient, and kind to everyone. Thank you!

Took my soon-to-be kindergartner son here during our OBX vacation and we had a BALL! The staff made us feel so welcome, equipped, and supported every step of the way.We did the first level course and I opted to proceed to the upper levels, but it was a seamless process and very flexible once you’re through ground school and the basics. The surrounding activities and lawn games were awesome, too! We enjoyed the hand-dipped ice cream (not freezer burn popsicles you might expect at other places) and the beverage selection is impressive/much appreciated after an intense climbing session. We loved exploring the photos from our visit and the staff even took the time to find one that had gone missing in the digital library, and sent it to me the next day. They have tablets where you can peruse or purchase whichever images you’d like via email.Pro tips: bring your own water bottle and leave it at the lower level of the course. Dress lightly and tightly so you don’t have baggy clothes blowing in the wind or knocking you off balance. Loved the NO CELL PHONES policy to ensure everyone is present and focused, but take a group picture either before or after from the grounds looking up - it is such an impressive structure, and I realized I didn’t snap any photos of it and could only find past years’ obstacles (it seems they update the courses slightly over seasons, which is a good thing) to share on social media, etc. tagging them.Overall, just an amazing day at CAP! Can’t wait to go back!

We had the best time here with a 5 and 7 year old. We opted for the lower to start, and they had closed toe shoes for us to rent. Bring a water bottle with you!!!At one point our 5 year old got stuck and the guide was there in a flash to help him the rest of the way. About an hour into the time (we weren’t sure how we’d do!) we upgraded everyone else in the group and LOVED the upper loops. It was a busy beach vaca week AND our reservation time was nearly full but we had no waiting up on the course. I highly recommend this spot for a way to take a break from the sand.

We had a party of 10 (ages ranged from 15-50+), they explained everything to us and got us suited up. We started with the 1st level only package but 9/10 quickly upgraded to the full package. Everyone had a great time! We would specifically like to metion Tyler and Matt and how awesome they were, they had great attitudes, and we're super fun. Will definitely be back next time we're at the OBX!

Returned here yesterday for our 4th year to let the kids have a awesome adventure. As we were ready to pack up and leave, to our surprise someone stole my sons brand new Crocks. The young lady at the front desk apologized and said she would credit his ticket, as of 24 hours later nothing has posted to my account.Hopefully they change the way they keep personal items 🙏

This place is awesome. Great set up. Very detailed on set up and safety. Full of fun workers who love their jobs. Stuff for little people too who can’t climb. Snacks and brews for adults too. Axe throwing is a nice touch. Don’t forget to feed the chickens. If you don’t climb, bring bug spray. Wetland area has some bugs.

We decided to take our four active kids (5, 7, 9 & 11) to burning some energy at Corolla Adventure Park one afternoon. The staff was energetic and super, friendly while assisting us throughout the entire process of getting our harnesses on, to giving helpful tips on the course when needed (mostly by the parents!). The facility was extremely clean and well maintained. The ice cream afterwards on site was an added bonus! What a beautiful facility & gorgeous property! Highly recommended you make a visit! A definite MUST stop! My kids are already begging to go back.

Great public attraction for kids and adults. Don’t feel like climbing, enjoy a frozen dessert, or if you are an adult, enjoy a cold beer.

Great place for the kids to have some fun and super nice touch with the cool washcloths in the fridge for when they were done. It is pricey and I would say it's worth it and we will be back next year. Nice to have a different option other than putt putt and go carts.

My kids had the best time here! The staff was friendly and encouraging; they made my special needs daughter feel so welcome, plus made this nervous mom feel like she was safe and in great hands. The nature trail was beautiful & well equipped, so that my husband & I had as much fun watching as the kids did climbing! In addition to the climbing staff, there were staff members walking around seeing to any maintenance needs, & the facilities are obviously well kept. I cannot recommend this enough for families enjoying time in Corolla. They have earned every bit of their high ratings, and then some!

We visited as a group of 8 and really enjoyed it! The space didn't feel crowded and we rarely experienced a wait prior to beginning a course. The youngest in our group was 4 and he had a blast. The staff was attentive and helpful.A great family activity that was enjoyed by all!

This park was great. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. We booked online for a party of 8. The order did not go through. When we called they managed to fit us in. They went above and beyond to help us when they were sold out.The course was exciting, fun, and intense. My son and nephew did all 4 levels without a problem. They found it very thrilling. My daughter was scared and decided not to go up.I feel as though you need something geared torwards toddlers or kids that are scared of heights. ! My two year old kept running under the fence and up the ramp to get in. Maybe a ground course that parents can walk next to there kids on while they are still harnessed in for the full affect.

We had the best time!! We had 5 kids ranging from ages 5-10 and 4 adults :) All of us enjoyed ourselves! The staff was super helpful and were so good with our kids! They were so positive and encouraging! I really appreciated Zoey taking the time to answer all of my questions over the phone before we came. Afterwards, there were snacks and drinks we could enjoy while the adults relaxed and kids played. Would definitely recommend coming here with your family and friends!
