The last 2 days I have stopped to run in to Dollar General on Hwy 18 in Connelly Springs, NC. The sign says they open at 8 am. No one here both days at that time. Around 8:10 someone has shown up. Do they just get here when they want to? I get it's only 10 minutes, but is that any way to run a business?

It has gotten better you can get through the isles now and the shelves are not as piled up.

I love this store! I was so happy when it opened being there are virtually no stores in my area. Some things you may find cheaper elsewhere, however, I now don't have to drive 15 miles, and spend for gas, to pick up bread and milk. Updates are being made in the store which are creating more space. Items are kept updated. Big fan!

I don’t know what all of these people are talking about with the store not being stocked but this is one of the nicest, well stocked and recovered stores I’ve seen. And it’s an older store so you know that they have worked their butts off to get it to look like that. Great job and keep up the hard work you guys.

Something should be done about the lines at the registers. When you have workers standing outside smoking and the lines turning the corner, you think someone would step in and help. Just this evening, I seen an employee walk behind the lady working and 9 of us in line. One customer put his stuff down in the candy and walked out. Love having the store close but customer's need to be priority number one before anything else. Ridiculous!

The new manager has let this store run in the ground. I've suggested a couple times to wash off refrigerated areas, especially milk section because of the smell, looks, and most importantly sanitary factors. It's been over two months and it keeps getting worse. No one sweeps or stocks. All employees stay in the office and barely get customers moving. I so much want to be THE go to woman in there. I'd have that place cleaned up in a week. The nasty, no self respect,( let alone respect of customers' health and positive experience) manager...Kristie...needs a replacement. I'd volunteer but face it, we can't live off volunteering. I am disabled and live real close.....I'm about to go work there but of course, I don't think I want to work with Kristie and neither do a lot of employees. They need to hire the one manager back that started there. She quit so someone else wouldn't get fired. Rehire her! People didn't steal as much then either! DG LISTEN TO MY WORDS!

Very convenient location for me but I have on multiple occasions had to confront them about prices on the shelves being different than at the register. It has probably happened 10 times now I'm not even lying. Now I go in and check every single thing it's a shame.

Terrible management! They are outside smoking all the time. Manager very unprofessional. When they first opened I was so excited because I do all my shopping there and didnt have to drive 20 mins to a grocery store but now I will go out of my way if I am out just so I dont have deal with this management staff. Not sure why you would fire an employee in front of a customer for no reason then go outside to smoke and laugh about it to another employee. They act like everyone is stealing from them and I actually witnessed this several times. It has actually became a joke in our little community to guess if the manager will be outside smoking when you stop in or if they will have the police called on someone. Such a shame I was very excited when they opened the store here in George Hildebrand. The District Manager must have his or her eyes closed or be asleep.

Angel Chapman, store manager acts like you burden her when you try to cash out! It mean that she has to put down the store phone, lay her cigarette on the Red Box, and come in the store. Always outside most of time smoking, just drive past, you'll see her Infront. Go anywhere else if you want quick service.

I like that dollar general is close to my house in fact we have several close by. The down fall of dollar general is that some of there stores is dirty and piled up. If they were cleaner and neater they would have more business

Dollar general definitely hired a great regional manager. They have put some great location stores up recently. Becoming a rural icon down south. Buuuuut it is just a dollar general. Lol it’s convenient for the country side.

Well we'll store number #15866 is the one most rudest disrespectful Manager Stocking Lady she says she only stocks an you go there ianytime of the day store is open everyone on duty for the day is always outside smoking but the girl with one arm at her always only one working .Angel the manager is so hateful an lazy just a disgusting store to shop at period .I know you need workers there but need to fire everyone an find some that clean store work n not rude to customers n willing to work together n not leave it all on one person. I'd tell you one thing then girls there think they don't have to do anything but sit on that bench out front an talk n smoke .i go by there some days 6 or more times a day they all outside on that bench .Remove that bench n put them to work stop the smoking even on their breaks maybe that will get something outta them like what they were hired to do WORK AN NOT BE RUDE .if nothing else close that store down n be done with it Dope heads hanging out with tjem at the smoking bench inside store it's a shame to see that mess .They all rude lazy n ain't worth working with public .Thank You

This dollar general ought to be scrapped!!.they are awful! they cannot keep anything stocked, i gave up shopping this location a while back, even when i try to just run in they dont have what i need, i only live less than 1/2 mile away but opt to go 8-10 miless to hext location

If you need to write a essay for anthropology, just visit one of the local Dollar generals. You see an eclectic group which includes yuppies, meth heads, and distressed mothers who are all trying to coexist in the checkout line.

walked in to the new dollar general on why 18 south . with the money in my hand to purchase dish detergent... a female employee walked up to me and said get out of my store i then ask the lady why, she replied i think u were trying to steal out of my store... im im asking u to leave and never cone back ... i asked her what did she think i was trying to steal and she could not tell me anything. when i asked her when she thought i was trying to steal she said last week... i have been in there every day buying cat food and drinks and cigs... neither of them can fit into some ones pocket... the lady was kinda tall skinny with brown hair... i dont know her name but i my self am six foot six 350 pounds with short dreads ... what do i look like trying to steal im not that dumb im very noticable... i feel like she was singling me out because im afro american... belive me its not a good feeling especially when i buy everything i work seven days a week... i have no need to steal but me i think she has me messed up with the wrong person

Pitiful! Definitely need help. Went yesterday at 3:30 and had a sign on the door they were closed till 6:00. Pay your workers more and get it together.

The shelves are always empty. I was so glad when this store opened but I still have to go to another store because there is plenty in the store room but not on the shelves and the manager and employees don't seem to care

Slow check out 15 minutes even if you're the only one in the store never have shelves stocked like they should the cashier always doing something besides there job

On of the employees was very rude short black headed lady dont see why she is so rude almost wanted to put my stuff down and walk out they should really start training there employees to have a better attitude towards others

cashiers don't know what they're doing and very unorganized or and the prices they're on the Shelf when it says 3 for 11 and you take their merchandise like sodas up to the counter and the register doesn't register the price for 3 for 11 and a cashier's don't know what the hell to do and they will not give you for the price that is posted they need a manager in that store you know what they're doing
