We stopped to get food here while visiting from out of town. We used the drive through and oddly as soon as we drove to the window they handed it out to us. We drove 40 minutes back to our Airbnb and the chicken was tough as leather and so dry we couldn’t eat it without choking. The biscuits were hard and cold. Because our child needed to eat we drove back to town to get a refund with much resistance from the employees at the restaurant. Will not return to this location!!

I visited Bojangles on Malcom Blvd. a few weeks ago and there was no service at all. I was 2nd in line to order and no one acknowledged that we were even there. I left after about 10 minutes. This is ridiculous for a fast food restaurant. The workers continued to provide service to the drive through and even carry orders out the door without even looking at customers waiting to order and eat in the dining area. I contacted cooperate office with a review and got absolutely no response. If you want to dine in I would suggest you go elsewhere.Kid-friendliness: There was no friendliness to adults.

I was heading west on i-40 after my surgical procedure in Hickory, NC on the 31st of January. My driver said he wanted to stop by Bojangles and pick up some breakfast. This past year his dentist extracted all of his teeth. He said that he likes that Bojangles carries some softer foods that he can eat until his he gets his teeth implants. I would say that we had an overall very decent experience other than my food being way to dry.

Wow! I will definitely be returning to this Bojangles location when in the area again. The fries were fresh, my biscuit was extra soft/hot & the chicken tenders were cooked to perfection! By far the best experience I have ever had at a Bojangles. I've had my share of hard/tough chicken tendersn from being way over cooked. Not today, everything was spot on. Way to go Rutherford College Bojangles!

Had a delivery order (Doordash’s fault) and it came with the seal torn and the fries half eaten by the delivery driver. Obviously didn’t eat considering how unsanitary and possibly contaminated food could have been. Would’ve given the driver a fry if they needed one that bad or something but damn, definitely get pickup unless you’d like someone eating your stuff lmao

Stopped in for breakfast spent 28 dollars worth on food for my family I wanted 1 cup of honey mustard for my bo rounds and they wanted me to pay extra I would understand if I only spent 5 dollars or 10 or wanted more than 1 cup of sauce I will not be returning to this location I'll go to my Bojangles in hildebran they never charge for just a single sauce cup

This is the level of effort this place gives. My gravy biscuits were put in the box upside down and poured all out in the bag. This place is worthless everytime I come here. Never ate at a worse Bojangles. This place needs proper training and management. This is just pathetic.

I was greeted quickly, and they promptly took my order. I ordered a two-piece all white meal with macaroni and cheese and dirty rice. I was given a two-piece dark meat meal instead. I showed them my recipe, and they gave me the correct meal. The macaroni was dry and hard, the dirty rice was the same way. On a positive note, the chicken was hot and fresh! I have pretty much given up on eating at Bojangles. Every time I go and no matter the location, I am never impressed with the food. Great food when it's hot and fresh, but that's not often!

Employees can't be bothered to properly prep the food, so I have to assemble it in my car. Now I have gravy all over my hands because you can't tear a biscuit in half. To add insult to injury I was given a cracked spork which exploded in my food and now there are tiny plastic shards in my food and I have to throw it away. This restaurant is the least capable place around here. It really needs to be shut down. Absolutely garbage.

Are you curious which bojangles is the worst of them all? Well look no further, you’ve found it! Let’s start with a list of why you should never visit this location:1. Your food will take forever. I work nearby and have visited this location many times. Each time, it seems to take longer than the last, and I really don’t seem to understand why. The store is always decently staffed, in a great location, and well kept, yet it remains the complete opposite of fast food.2. You may get what you order, but you’ll be missing at least one item. On several occasions, when I’ve asked for sauces or utensils they’ve been conveniently omitted. This is not the exception, it is the rule and if I visit this location because I’m given no other choice, I will now thoroughly examine the contents of my order to ensure completion.3. While I’ve never personally experienced this, several of my coworkers who frequent this location have mentioned being upsized without asking for it. This wouldn’t be a problem if the upsized items weren’t being charged to the customer, but levying charges to a customer for an item they didn’t ask for seems shady and is a terrible business policy.All in all, I’ve had more than enough experiences with this Bojangles to make me never want to return. It’s possible I may be back, but these issues and the experiences that came with them will forever be engrained in my head. The owner of this establishment should seriously consider new management and retraining the entire staff. If that’s not a possibility, I don’t know how much longer this subpar fast food restaurant can last. If this is any indication of how other Bojangles are run then it makes complete sense why the company was recently sold. I seriously hope this gets better, because the Bojangles organization is so much better than this terrible location, we deserve better.Update: 2/4/21Yet another shining example of how Bojangles in Rutherford College goes above and beyond in their food preparation and service. Literally no one else in the drive thru line and they’re still struggling to give customers items that resemble food. See attached photo.
