I love this store! It is where we get all of our pet supplies from. It's always so neat and clean and it never smells like a pet store!! The store manager, Ryen, is super friendly and helpful. He has given me numerous suggestions on various pet foods and treats, and my dog always loves his suggestions. This store also has an excellent variety of grain-free food which I really appreciate. If you need any kind of pet supplies, shop here! You won't be disappointed!

We went in today for fish food and Mackenzie was super helpful, knowledge, and friendly! She even let my daughter pet one of their baby bunnies. I told her we have 2 dogs as well and she also mentioned price matching their food!! We will definitely be back, thanks Mackenzie!

I have been working with Ryen in the Concord location for a few weeks looking for a rabbit. Ryen went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we were looking for. Ryen was so friendly and helpful. The rabbits sell so quickly and every time we called to see if more rabbits came in they would sell before we had the chance to drive there. After speaking with Ryen frequently, he took the time to send us pictures when he got new rabbits in. He was very informative and professional. Finally, we were able to find the perfect rabbit with Ryen’s help! When we got to the store Ryen went through everything we needed to know about having a rabbit and helped us purchase all of the items we needed. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. I wish every store provided customer service like Ryen. He seemed genuinely happy to help and wanted to make sure we understood how to care for our new family member!

I’ve been shopping at this store since the day they opened as they impressed me so much on multiple levels that I abandoned shopping at Pet Supplies Plus. I’m a picky dog owner and love their Performatrin brand dog food as it meets my dog’s nutritional needs. I also love their store brand puppy pads for my special needs dog. I spend hundreds every couple of weeks.However, this store has had a major decline in the past 6 months or so in not only customer service but also cleanliness and animal care. This past visit will be my last as I can’t continue to support a company that allows this type of care in their stores. I’ve made phone calls previously which has apparently fallen on deaf ears.Today there were 3 employees standing the register area chit chatting while the store was disgusting. There was an old dried pile of cat poop by the window behind the strollers by the cat cage. The fish tanks have algae build up on the glass and the filters are clogged with loose leaves from the plants. The reptiles have dirty water bowls with algae. There were scissors out where any child could grab then, boxes all over the floor which I tripped on going into an aisle, an open ladder in the middle of the aisle and larger items hanging off the shelves.Under and around the bird cage was a huge mess which can be a slip hazard, the plexiglass portions in the small animal tanks are disgusting and the smell is awful. At checkout there was zero customer service. The Fourth Key, as stated on her name tag, didn’t even acknowledge myself or other customers.

What a fantastic experience!!! My daughter and I just swung by for some cat supplies and to check out the new digs, but we received a whole lot more! The staff was great, Sky showed us all around, and introduced us to all her fury friends! Very knowledgeable staff, and the animals were clean, loved and happy. I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else!!! Thank you Sky!!!

I'm not a big expert on fish, but I've been taking care of several for years now. Warning, isolate any fish you buy from here and treat them for ich and other diseases. The fish I got from here ended up killing my other fish from ich, I didn't catch it until it was too late. I guess I should have known better, but I'm heartbroken. A simple warning or heads up when buying them could have saved my other fish.

This is hands down my favorite pet store to go to! We go for fish supplies which are priced very well and I also love their prices on their live plants. The staff is what makes it though, my kids beg to go in with me because they make them feel special! Whether it be feeding the goldfish or being given a lollipop just for being good in the store! We recently bought 2 angelfish to go with our rescued angelfish so he wouldn’t be alone, they are all doing great and enjoying each other’s company, I believe the employees name was Andrew and we enjoyed to him, there was another employee there and she was super friendly as well I just didn’t catch her name! Clean store, well cared for animals and prices you can’t beat! Did I mention this was my favorite pet store? 😂

This store is great! The staff is always pleasant and knowledgeable. They have amazing deals on dog food and their rewards program is amazing! For every 10 bags, you get 1 free. And $5 rewards nearly every other month (depending upon your spending habits)!

I purchased fish from this store which were absolutely beautiful! But my buying process experience was weird and awkward! I was passed by a male attendant (which looked like the supervisor) no one else was around, several times and he made no eye contact nor greeted me and I was the only person in the section. So I had to go the cashier for assistance, she was extremely polite, but told me she didn’t have any knowledge about any of the fish and could only help me use google to figure it out. Then to make matters worse she accused my $100 for being fake and said she had to ask her manager, because the gold mark line didn’t disappear, she then returned and said was told to take it anyway. Cashed me out and I left clueless with pretty fish. Had to go to pet smart to get help and figure out how to properly care for the fish that I purchased from another business. I believe in supporting local owned or small businesses, but this was not the experience that I expected from professionals.

I love this place, the manger is so friendly (always remembers our dogs’ names!) and have used the dog wash many times, which I’m so grateful they have. The employees are always quick to refill any of the shampoos and fresh towels when we need them. I saw a recent one star review that didn’t seem to make any sense to me so I thought I’d chime in. The staff is helpful and kind. Of course there is going to be a dirty wash. Especially on weekends! To my knowledge there are only two staff members in the store at any one time. Keep up the great work Concord Pet Supermarket! See you soon! Oh, and thank you to Alex who always is there to answer any questions I have about my babies!

Their prices are high, but you can sometimes find dry dog food markdown when they have too much of an item or it gets close to expiration.

I called the Concord location earlier today to ask about mealworms.Carly answered the phone and told me that they were in stock,when I asked if she was sure,she put me on hold and went to check- the whole time she was very pleasant. When I got to store and told her I had just called,she brought me back to where the mealworms were and actually opened the containers to check them for me. She was very knowledgeable about the different reptiles for sale and we had an awesome conversation about the different pets we have. The customer service I got was amazing and it should be the gold standard for all establishments. The bonus be was the mealworms were much cheaper then a "competitor" I use to go to.

Ryan is hands down the best in the city. We are grateful for everything Ryan did for us today. We are getting a new fur baby tomorrow and we are so pleased knowing the pet supermarket is here in town. The other associates in the store were very helpful and friendly. Clean store, bathrooms were clean, and all products were neatly placed on the shelves. Hey Ryan We look forward to bringing our miniature poodle in to meet you soon.

I came in today to purchase a doggy stroller. Ryan and Alex helped me make sure it would work for me. They were seriously two of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met. They even took the time to help me pick out a gecko setup for my son, and talked about costs etc for when I come back to purchase it for him. I could not have asked for a better experience. I'm so excited to come back. Thank you both again for all of your help today!!

Has a good variety of pet supplies. However, the staff is not very attentive and the self wash stations are dirty, low on supplies and have broken equipment. I would think staff is supposed to clean and sanitize these stations after each use. Staff isn’t attentive to refill shampoos either or make sure brushes are clean. One of the staff encouraged another customer to skip us so they also don’t respect first come first serve.

The other day, I went to my local pets supermarket to buy my dogs favorite food which is very hard to find in most pet stores. I easily found my dog Stella’s favorite brand victors multi pro plus with the help of an amazing sales associate Mackenzie. She went above and beyond my expectations and I now have a favorite pets store for me and Stella.

I am very impressed with the cleanliness of this store and with the knowledge that the employees have. Ryan and Jersey are very helpful and have been able to answer any questions I have on a multitude of different animals. I always love going in and seeing the one bird sleeping on Jersey's shoulder. The animals here have their hearts and aren't just property to be sold.
