This is a great little pet store that sells a huge variety of dog and cat food and supplies, as well as offer a small variety of reptiles such as bearded dragons & leopard gecko’s, a beautiful display of beta fish and even usually have cats/kittens that can be adopted. They primarily sell items for dogs and cats, but they do carry supplies for most other types of small pets. They usually always have live feeder insects such as crickets, a variety of worms, and frozen critters, (I assume are for feeding snakes).. They don’t have a huge rewards program, but they do have deal on dog/cat food so you can earn a free bag for every 10 bags you purchase and they also offer a lot of great clearance items-which is always my favorite place to check out! :) The staff have always been friendly and helpful and the store has always been clean with well cared for animals at every visit I have been there so far. I will definitely update my review if that ever changes!I also learned today that They will also price match competitors if you can find items cheaper somewhere else! I don’t have to wait for Amazon to deliver my dog food anymore to save a few bucks since a worker overheard me discussing the difference with my daughter and kindly offered to match the price if I could show him the details on Amazon! I’m so glad to know that they are an honest company trying to help you no matter what!

Great and friendly staff. Good selection of products and it’s nice not having to make the trek all the way out to Winston for pet supplies. We get our dog groomed here and are always happy with the job they do.

So many different options for pet food. Awesome to be able to go into a pet food store and get exactly what I'm looking for. There are a variety of prices. Since it is a Tractor Supply Store, sign up for the rewards. It really pays off.

My English Cream Golden Retriever was dropped off for a trim for her unruly fur and general clean up. I wrote specific notes to the groomer- trim the very inside of her ears slightly so that moisture doesn't build up as easily (floppy ears = easy ear infections), trim her butt fluff (since it has been getting matted), and the general light trim for unruly areas. The groomer did a wonderful job on her paws and nails, however, when I saw her, I cried. Her actual ears were cut and chopped all around, her ears were buzzed on the inside so close that I have to watch it so that razor burn doesn't end up in a vet visit, her butt fluff wasn't trimmed at all, her legs were completed unmanaged, and I am just sick over it. I cannot believe anyone would ever cut a golden's ears like that- especially as I made a specific note to not cut anywhere near her face. I will not name the groomer as I would not want to embarrass her online. Petsense was very easy to talk to about this problem and they immediately gave me a refund. They were very considerate and easy going about my problem, which I appreciate. I ended up taking a partial refund because I felt like she should be paid for grooming her paws/nails correctly. However, it still doesn't help the fact my golden's ears are ruined and she could develop hot spots from it, causing us to go to the vet. I highly suggest NO ONE DOES PETSENSE GROOMING. I am absolutely heartbroken for my dog. Please see attached photos.

Last evening I purchased a dog crate for my baby Pyrenees; good quality and fair pricing. The point of my comments is the service and invaluable assistance I got from Jodi the store manager in getting home! I locked my keys in the car and was struggling to get to the nearby soccer field to pick up one child, while trying to get home to another. The police declined to open the car, they also declined to recommend a locksmith ( it was after hours so that wasn't a good idea anyway). Jodi came up with a viable solution and provided the means for it to happen. She refused any reward or reimbursement. Such employees are invaluable to a company. I plan to write corporate to commend her. Thanks, Jodi. You are my angel.

Just poor management. All employees are hiding in the office to the point where i have to call out for service every time. The live feed options were all dead. Super disappointing getting home and realizing you've been sold garbage. Employees also don't check on stock when you call and ask, they assume they have it and waste your time. It is a lot of little things that add up to the employees and management not caring.

I go here for my senior dogs wet food, as it's pretty specific & hard to find other places. I also love the treat selection. Staff is always very friendly & helpful. Now if only I could get my dog's dry food here, I'd never have to go elsewhere! :) Love this place!

Walked in today to get some new supplies for my cats. I was immediately greeted and assisted by Amber. She showed me where everything I would need was and informed me on any specials that would relate to my purchases, the epitome of great customer service. The prices we nice and affordable and the cat isles were well organized. I will definitely recommend this place to others.

Nice clean store with a good selection and friendly staff. They especially have a good range of dog treats including non-rawhide/natural as well as traditional rawhide treats. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the prices on some items are high, but I find it's usually usually worth it due to the convenient location and to help support a local store. You can also bring your pet with you to shop and they'll likely give you that hopeful look that convinces you to buy things you weren't planning on, but now probably will anyway.

Stopped going to the groomer because of Hannah. Her rudeness and incompetence were the reason. After a few months and voicemails from Crystal, who is delightful, I believed I could return. Nope, Hannah is still rude and incompetent. If this is who PetSense supports that is fine. I will not spend another penny or risk my dog’s safety there. I was raised better and live better.

Friendliest staff I have ever seen in a pet store. Owner is regularly present, and interacts with customers in a friendly and playful manner. I feel like I'm among friends when I go here. They have any supplies I need for my pets (3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 medium sized parrot, 1 leopard gecko), and their crickets seem to last longer than one obtained at other pet stores I have visited. Highly recommended!

I agree with previous reviews on the grooming -- I don't recommend it. The biggest complaint I have is the inconsistency in pricing. The first two visits I got a full bath, groom, nails, clean face and feet and ears cleaned and plucked for $45 both visits. The third visit I had a new groomer and the price was $55 and the ears weren't cleaned and I asked for clean face and feet and the face was done but the feet weren't. On my check out ticket it had "CAT nail trim $5" checked so I'm not sure why I was charged $10 more for less services. I asked the cashier, who went to ask the groomer himself and the only reason I was given was "you got a free shampoo this time". ??? When I asked the cashier to give my change to the groomer as a tip, he acted as if this were a big hassle for him. Plus, they don't even give you an option to tip the groomers if you use a card so it's an extra step for me to find cash. In addition, the groomers aren't very professional. During my visits one groomer had her child there, and the the other couldn't find my appointment I made just a few days prior. The first visit my poodle's "pom pom" tail came out looking terrible as the groomer left just a few scraggly hairs on the end of his tail. Other than than he came home looking and smelling good except, again, that the feet and ears were not done on the last visit. Needless to say, I won't be visiting again, because I budgeted for a certain price and I can't visit a place where it changes and I'm not given a good reason why.

Clean and well organized. Some prices have increased on dog canned food/treats though available at Tractor Supply down the road at cheaper prices. Just have to be price conscious when there.

This is not a bad pet store it is part of a chain but overall it's not too bad there is definitely a lack of Staffing here as it takes forever to check out or to get help with something in particular such as crickets. Everything here is a bit on the expensive side I prefer PetSmart as PetSmart will price match thanks with websites like chewy. Petsense is good if you need something immediately and don't have time to go to PetSmart

The cashier was helpful, however, upon getting to the register, I noticed they sell Bettas in cups and I am not in favor of the way they are kept and never have been🤷🏻‍♀️

Not as much variety as the large pet stores, and the regular prices are on the high side, but overall a nice, clean store. Sale prices are good, and they do offer store coupons. In-house grooming services. Regular "adopt-a-thons".

I went last Friday evening, they could not have been any nicer. I went this afternoon, the new lady was trying. The boy there( manager I think) not at all helpful or nice .
