Pleasant little cafe! We stopped there on our way through Chimney Rock.Very nice family and good cozy atmosphere. Surprised to find that you can get an old fashioned saloon style picture taken there along with a cup of espresso. Lots of choices of coffee drinks. Celebrity sightings there too.Kid-friendliness: Lots of stuff to look at

A cute nice little shop for coffee. Store is nice and very creative interior deco. Staff were very friendly , prices are moderate. Help locals and support their business. A much needed shop at a small cute downtown. Coffee was fresh and nice. For a coffee and danish I paid $5. A small sidewalk on left side of this shop for little river walk access.

This was a very quaint little coffee shop, right in the middle of the downtown Chimney Rock area. It doubles as an old time photo studio too so grab a cup a joe and go have a fun picture made! Coffee was good, about the same prices you’d pay at Starbucks, the sitting area is really cute, definitely check them out if you’re in the area.

We had been walking around the area, and we got warm. We started looking around for a place that would sell a cold beverage, and we saw that there was a coffee shop! I don’t drink coffee, but most coffee shops have something for people like me. I saw they had a strawberry banana smoothie, and I decided to order that. The people running the shop were really nice, and they made the smoothie full to the top! The smoothie tasted really good. I would definitely come here again!

A great place to grab a a coffee and a pastry after visiting Chimney Rock. Cozy and quaint. Pastry selection limited, but fine for a quick bite. You can also walk down to the water.

We came for Thanksgiving weekend from Florida and asked about their old time photos. Their price list only goes to 10 people so we asked how much the 11th person would be because there was no pricing. The man said I don’t have prices for more than 10 because there is no room. We explain it was a 3month old baby and said we could hold him. We did not need much more room for an infant. The man proceeded to respond in a nasty manner and said the baby is still a person, EXTREMELY RUDE. We would have payed for the baby but didn’t know how much plus the guy said there was no room. Needless to say we left because the man was extremely nasty and rude. We did not mind paying for the baby but $29 for a 3 month old and as nasty as the man was we left. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR CAROLINA HOSPITALITY OR FOR YOUR FAMILY. The gentlemen is a pure GRINCH!

Solid stop for coffee and snacks before hitting the trails! It’s small inside so we took our coffee to-go. Their decor is very cute and “old-timey” as they do photo opps here. If you go early enough on weekends it isn’t very packed.

IT IS NOT OPEN. Do not plan to get coffee here while going through Chimney Rock. It was closed every day, even when it said it was open. If you call, no one answers. There were about 4 or 5 other people trying to walk in before realizing it’s closed. If you want coffee from Chimney Rock, either get it beforehand or go to the general store or other little store down the road.

What a cool little spot to find. Small little shop with a cozy and awsome atmosphere where you can also get old timey pictures done. The coffee is top notch as well as the Carmel Frappuccino. Can't attest to anything else since that's what I've had but if it's anything like what I got which not sure why it wouldn't be, it was phenomenal. Grab a coffee and walk down to the river and sit and enjoy

I'm really picky about my coffee, most coffee houses use medium roast now which tastes sour to me and about the only place I can get coffee that doesn't taste like that is my house and Star*****, unfortunately. But Coffee on the Rocks didn't do that to me. No where is as good as home, for me, but I was content with my coffee from COTR. To me that says others will be very pleased.

Lovely little shop. The coffee was wonderful and so was the hot cocoa my husband ordered. We bought an apple fritter to share and ended up buying four more for breakfast in the morning. So a great place. A must go place.

This is my absolute favorite place to visit in Chimney Rock village! We go there first whenever we're in town. Their Chai tea is to die for, the owners are incredibly wonderful, and right in the back are the raging waters of the Rocky Broad River. What could be better? That's why it's called Coffee on the Rocks! Be sure to check out the old pics of the area inside.

My favorite breakfast place near Lake Lure. The customer service is amazing and this place is extremely cozy. The owners always take care of us when we visit and even offer treats to my dog. They have a selection of games so I like to play a game of chess while drinking my coffee. Really love this special place and always end up having great conversations with strangers here. Can’t wait to come back, thank you guys for all you do!

This coffee shop is amazing and a must stop when in chimney rock. The smoothies are also out of this world! Great hospitality and fun decorations filled with history to look at. Stopped here everyday on my vacation and each visit was just as good as the last!

We were there when they turned the coffee shop into a haunted house for Halloween. So much fun! The coffee and pastries were good, too. P.S. - They also have tons of costumes and do the BEST custom portraits, including wanted posters.

I am disappointed I didn't go sooner, all the times I have been to Lake Lure! Went in for the first time recently ...I had my dog with me and didn't think was dog friendly until I went to the door...sooo happy! We were both welcomed by a super friendly employee! She offered my pup a treat as I was looking over my options( she loved it)...I wasn't quite sure I wanted exactly what they had posted so she custom made me a frozen frap...it was delicious!! She was very helpful & friendly. We also got an apple fritter that was very good! I will DEFINATLY go back and I highly recommend it!
