I'm a regular here, and things seem to be improving! The produce section seemed very well stocked, and lots of variety. I really do love me some good peaches and plums. Daniel in particular went above and beyond at checkout to make it such a positive, efficient experience. Tatyana was also amazing in assisting me as well. Always grateful for positive experiences such as these!

Fantastic neighborhood store that has been recently partially renovated. Prices are often lower for the same items compared to my usual store on South Blvd. Selection isn't incredible because the store is only 1/4 the size of a full size HT but they have everything you could need. I wish they would reduce the massive beer and wine selections in favor of some more food. It would also be great to eliminate 90% of the shopping carts that clog up the hallway. But all in all a great store.

We only came to this Harris Teeter location because we’ve recently moved uptown. I have to give 2 stars primarily due to the customer service (or lack thereof) that we received yesterday Sunday afternoon. My husband and I struggled at the self checkout because I was scanning items too quickly (I assume). Meanwhile, two employees sat there hawking us down and talking trash about how someone smelled repetitively and loudly. Tatyana was actually kind of rude and was clearly upset about something else. When she did decide to be quiet and do her job , my husband thanked her and she didn’t respond..more than once. I stopped patronizing at McDonald’s for the same uncouth behavior. Aside from that the store is small and crowded in my opinion. Security also seemed to be hawking us for some reason. We’re not familiar with the layout of the store and was trying to locate many items. Maybe we walked down the same aisles too many times? We both have good jobs and have no need to steal. That did not sit well with us at all. Needless to say, it was an uncomfortable experience and we will not be returning.

I have been eating their pizza for more than a 4yrs .. but today lady chef/baker who baked the current brand new flavor - Chicken Buffalo sauce pizza on promotional price of $7.99 was the best I ever had at this location and also one of the tastiest pizzas I have ever eaten anywhere else. Thankyou I think her name was Meka. Anyways most convenient grocery store, also good stock always of everything. $7.99 - week Buffalo sauce chicken pizza. What a combination of blue cheese, mozzarella and feta gave it a unique mouth watering taste and the Buffalo sauce used was also very tasty so also the HT roasted chicken used 👌🏻👌🏻

THIS LOCATION RACIALLY PROFILES. BLACK OR BROWN YOU SHOP AT YOUR PERIL.Worst Harris Teeter Ive ever been in. They jammed packed the location. It's so Aggrevating shopping with a cart. Your always bumping into people, shelves and displays. It smells like fish. Old fish. They also have to worst inventory. They don't sale anything I get specifically from Harris Teeter. The staff is predatory and will follow you around if you're not white. The downtown has a huge homeless population. And anytime I wear a hooded shirt from a jog and dont bring a purse I can't be at peace browsing. They stare, act as if they want to help, it's horrible. I was in the freezer aisle trying to figure out what I wanted. I took my time and the stock manager would not stop following me and staring at me everytime I opened the doors to read packaging. He even asked what I needed. I told him for him to mind his business and let me shop, that's all I needed. You can't buy fresh meat here. Deli items or packaged deli items and frozen foods are all I trust buying here.I rarely go here, it's usually packed, out of stock, and the silly self checkout lanes get backed up. The reviews are deceptive and must be paid for by HT. Im very particular with my grocery environment. The salad bar and hot bar are always empty, old, over priced and not well wiped down. They need to get rid of it all together for the space it takes up.This is the Walmart version of Harris Teeter. If you hate people on top of you shopping, staff and other customers shopping in small areas then don't come here.I moved to Uptown from Park rd. That was the Harris Teeter I was used to and the one in Mint Hill by my job. This location doesn't sale anything high end and they don't offer any variety in products. I was a fool to think living off the light rail I'd have a quick walk from the train to the store and go home and hit the location after a job. Nope. And the parking lot is like an underground coffin.Beer and wine section is abysmal too. Whole Foods or Instacart have become a more pleasant shopping experience.

Location is great if you're a bike rider. Car parking isn't terrible for drivers. Selection of items is meh, produce section is pretty good but again, selection is minimal to account for space available. Prices are inflated at this location compared to others. I only come here if I have no other options really. The employees near the self check out watch you like you're stealing. I used to work in asset protection for years, and also did security for a bit. Subtlety when surveying an area for theft, threats, etc....is important. 1. You're not making paying customers feel like they're being watched, and incriminated. 2. It looks unprofessional, like you don't know how to recognize a potential thief, threat, or safety issue so instead you look at everything and everyone as one of those things. It's off putting

Small store nice management however as I’m leaving out I here the girl at checkout saying I had a problem all because I told her I didn’t need help and I know how to use the check out machine I mean next time ask don’t just assume someone stuck I can’t stand there and read my charges before I pay without someone saying I was having an attitude.. this is an on going issue in charlotte .. learn how to communicate with people

The store is ridiculously small and cramped. Employees are useless. I paid $3.89 for a relatively small tomato and $2.40 for a small onion. Half of the produce is rotten. They’ve had the same absolutely rotten chicken breasts in the butchers window for over a week. The only reason people visit this store is out of convenience—the products and prices are the worst I’ve ever seen.

The entire store has a sick, fishy smell. Food is overpriced. They need to be open 24/7 due to their great location. The sub-section has to be fast, clean, and cheap. Security guards need to be professional. Self-checkouts need to be managed to increase profit. Use an iPad to speed the checkouts. Better parking generates more customers. They do seem to have this heightened sensitivity to customers presence, as if I were going to steal something. They should run more promotions. In short, this location needs an ambassador from a successful Harris Tetter location to change it with a few ideas and an open concept.

Considering the location. This has to be the most ghetto HT in Charlotte. As I’m walking in the manager is kicking out thieves…. Next I proceed to the pizza area where the employee continued to talk to another employee who was near the entrance…. I walked off thinking maybe she didn’t see me in front of her face… I then circled back where she then acknowledged me..and asked if need anything. I told her I would like a slice of pepperoni. She then walks away to talk again with the other employee and says…” where are the other two employees. See… I’m not doing their job..”At this point I don’t want the pizza anymore and make my way to the exit. The other employee she was talking to with orange hair asked if I needed help??? Like what? If y’all don’t want to work.. stay home..

I shop at Harris Teeter on South Blvd regularly and I have mixed feelings about this store. On the positive side, the store is clean and well-organized, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the selection of products is good. They have a nice bakery, deli, and salad bar, and they offer online ordering and delivery services. They also have a fuel rewards program that can save you money on gas. On the negative side, the prices are higher than other grocery stores in the area, and some of the items are often out of stock or past their expiration date. The store can also get very busy and crowded during peak hours, and the parking lot is small and hard to navigate. Overall, I think Harris Teeter is a decent grocery store, but it could improve on some aspects to make it more competitive and customer-friendly.

This is the worst Harris teeter I’ve ever been too. They have almost nothing outside of food. They have 3 types of body wash for men, no Zum sprays , and its layout is the most confusing and lack luster design I’ve ever seen. I’ve NEVER seen anyone upstairs for the wine . This whole story needs to be redesigned or remodeled because it’s a hot mess. The staff is fine , the space is TERRIBLE. Please for the love of any god and the people who live in uptown PLEASE help this store out

Jacob was very nice .He made great tasting sandwiches. Niqua as soon as I stood in line told me to get on the other side however she said nothing to the guy who had walked in which happened to stand in the same spot..The lady at customer service with the braids walked away from the customer service desk when we brought our items up, however she did offer to help.

Amazing service and a amazing sub. The girl making the subs is a champ. She had a large order before mine an got everything done very quick and was extremely helpful.

Two stars for convenience, having it's own parking, a decent variety of items, and being pretty well stocked on all the staples. Otherwise, this Harris teeter is a disaster. ALWAYS check expiration dates on fresh/refrigerated foods. The packaged meat section is the worst offender... I went yesterday and all the organic ground beef had expired a WEEK ago. This happens all the time at this location, along with moldy produce and old canned goods. There are a few nice and helpful employees, but most hate being there and you can tell.

I recently visited this grocery store and overall had a positive experience. The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful when I had questions, and the prices were reasonable. The only downside was that some of the produce looked a little wilted, but there were still plenty of fresh options to choose from. Overall, I would recommend this grocery store to others looking for a convenient and affordable shopping experience in Charlotte.

It’s hard to understate the visceral contempt I feel for this particular location. It’s not the parking, which is a disaster.. It’s not the limited selection, which is annoying. It’s not the gum chomping checkout attendants who literally can’t be bothered when your self checkout station needs an associate. That’s standard almost everywhere. It’s mostly just deli counter. Counter attendants mostly come across like it’s their first day on the job, and judging by the number of new faces, it probably is. There is one counter attendant in particular who really earns the one star for this because he’s been there for a while. In a typical Harris Teeter, I would have expected management to have weeded him out long ago, but not this location. (I’m not even sure management exists here.) This guy will take his time making his way over to help you, even though you’ve made direct eye contact and it’s clearly his post. Before acknowledging you, he’ll fumble with the scale or meat slicer, maybe the block of cheese he left out after the last customer he begrudgingly had to serve. His ineptness is staggering but pales in comparison to his lack of work ethic.I have lived and worked in uptown for about 10 years and I shop here primarily out of a lack of options. Whole Foods isn’t really my thing and a 20 min walk while this location is across the street. I have long resisted writing a negative review viewing them as mostly an exercise in self righteousness, today’s experience with the aforementioned deli attendant pushed me over the edge. It’s not worth the details. I imagine that anyone reading this either shops there or works for Harris Teeter’s reputation management dept and therefor knows the particular employee I’m referring to and can relate to the sentiment without the boring details of today’s worthless interaction which resulted in me, having walked to the store for a lb of fresh sliced deli meat, walking home completely empty handed. (Not by choice)In the 19 years I have shopped this location, I’ve left annoyed ( and even angry) at the ineptitude more times than I can possibly fathom. Today stood out as a new low.

This is a neighborhood store that caters to simple essentials/groceries needed. Does have a seafood/meat department. All check out lanes are self served just for references purposes. Parking can be somewhat limited in the parking garage as its shared with other businesses.

Restroom and surrounding area could use some work as well as the deli staffing issues (knowledge, positive attitude, etc.). On a positive note the shelves stay stocked and the store has a general cleanliness as well as friendly customer service staff.

The man in the deli fixing subs gave me one slice of ham when I clearly asked for the club which includes more than just ham. What an idiot!

Overall this location is probably one of the worst Harris teeters in the area. My biggest gripe is the lack of employees in the deli area. It’s 50/50 as to whether anyone is even working on a given day. If they are, and you order ahead, 50/50 as to whether you’ll get what you ordered too.Additionally, the product selection is poor due to the size of the store. There’s minimal produce and the meat section has often been cleared out by sun down. There seemingly have been no renovations to this store within years either.

It is a smaller store but they have all the necessities and common items. I do think the customer service could be better or start implementing a chat bot. Also, sometimes the premium ground beef is oxidated (hard ground chunks and brown). Sometimes they're good with making bagels regularly and sometimes they're not.

Clean and conservative. I don't know the owner's view point, but I do know their store is just as clean as Publix! Also their cake is just as good, I'll have to check to see if they use healthy ingredients, though! I forgot to check ✔️ last time!
