Pretty nice store, arranged a little differently from the normal cookie cutter design, but still familiar. Have to check your book bag/knap sack/laptop bag etc now at the courtesy desk upon you entering. But, I still see women carrying purses large enough you could put 3 gallons of milk and a bag of kitty litter in and wouldn't be able to tell they were in the "handbag". So, what's the difference? I mean, I don't care, I'll check my bag, I'm not trying to be facetious or whatnot, but c'mon. So, what if it is a male shopper, and he carries a man purse comparable in size to the women's purses... Does he have to check his purse?

I just bought a bag of Corn Nuts Buffalo ranch mix two days ago, I opened the bag today and it smelt like plastic. I looked at the expiration date and it say Nov of 2020! How are you not FIFO'ing? How does something 2 years old get put out onto the shelves. I will be coming to the store tomorrow with my receipt.I can understand a month or two but literally almost 2 years old? How do you miss this.I encourage everyone to check the dates on everything before you decide to buy from this store.

No paper bags just plastic and cashier rung the wrong items and overcharged.Again overchargedThe store had two varieties of 2% milk both had labels saying sold by Food Lion but only the higher priced one had Foodlion label. I bought the other one. It had a bad smell and tasted bad. Never shopping at Foodlion again

I just left food lion. I try to avoid this store but I had to pick something up last min. I went through Makayla’s line and she didn’t open her mouth to greet me, she rang up my stuff and didn’t say how much it was. I paid and she didn’t say thank you. She didn’t open her mouth. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. train your employees to have good customer service. They are working with the public interacting with people.

I think this Food Lion has the Best Employees! They are very Helpful and Friendly! I usually get in and out and if I can't find something that I am looking for there is always someone willing to assist me! I love this Food Lion!

Very nice new Food Lion that has a great bakery and meat department. Check out here is always fast and efficient. Many times non busy employees will help bag your groceries and load up your cart for you. They also offer to wheel your cart out for you if you want that as well. I respectfully turn down their offer to do that for me but its offered none the less. Produce section is large and the overall store is very clean, kept fully stocked and has a deep selection of goods. They also have a very large selection of gift card such as restaurants and many others. I shop here every week and I love it

I know that Food Lion experiences can vary by store, but I just had a great experience at this particular location. I was grocery shopping with my two young children while having my vehicle service at the nearby Meineke. When I was finished grocery shopping an employee walked my shopping cart with me (and my stroller) to the Meineke parking lot so I wouldn’t have to juggle it on my own. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.

They boast that they have fresh meat.When you get there they don't have anything more then thin sirloin.When you ask for someone in the meat department surprise surprise they can't be found.I know it's my fault for even stopping at this ratty location but they closed the Harris teeter that was close by.As always highly disappointed with food lion.

I ordered several party trays online for my daughter's graduation party. The trays were beautiful as well as delicious and a great value for my money. I've ordered trays at those other 2 more expensive grocery stores, and have been disappointed each time. Food Lion NEVER disappoints me when I order party trays from them. Well done, Food Lion and deli associates and thank you!

I wouldn't recommend this Food Lion. One of the managers was tending to me because I asked to print off my coupons before I checked out (I never used the savings kiosk before and thought the coupon i wanted would already be on my mvp card). She had me go to the kiosk. I saw the coupon i wanted already printed out. So i took it to her. She crumpled my coupon in front of me and told me i couldn't use it. She ignored all of my questions. Another manager came to the front and gave me an instant coupon. But overall, the staff had no patience with me and I even had to go back because they did not bag some of the other items I purchased.

Its my go too spot when I need food for the cooking. Never any issues, store is clean they have manager specials on the meat and the meat tastes fresh. Lines are usually fast and I have not had any issues to complain about

I only shop here because Bilo closed down! The people are great, however the parking lot is way too small, the store is way too small, and the selection is way below what people expect. Just as a point I went in to get a London Broil yesterday because they were on sale. The shelf was empty and nobody could tell me when they would be back in like really yall knew there was a sell and did not stock up accordingly. And on a couple other occasions I have bought a bag of leg quarters that were spoiled when I got them home.... Food Lion really needs to step up their game if they wanna stay in busniess!!!!!

This is a well lit, large supermarket. The fruits & vegetables are fresh and they have nice sales. The meat looks fresh & they often have manger's specials in the meat dept where the original price has been lowered. If you are on a strict budget that can be helpful.

I love Food Lion because there are usually plenty of smiling checkers to take care of you without long lines. They also have higher quality meat and produce than Walmart while still charging a reasonable price. The few extra cents you might pay goes to provide a REAL job to one of your neighbors as opposed to low paying part time work.

I can take all these comments, but at least they not racist like the one on Main St. I literally hate that Food Lion and I never even thought that would be possible until now! At least they got black and brown people working here! Not the other one! Sad!

Just as other reviewers stated, Customer Service in this store is the worst ever!Also, I bought two LP Propane gas tanks and seems like they bought are halfway empty according to the my grill gas meter.

I frequent this store. It's clean and neat. I would rate it as 5 stars but, often times they have something marked one price and it rings up another and sometimes they seem as though they don't want to believe you or bother to go check the price 😔
