I can not rave enough about the awesome staff here! Although our dog, Cali was not a perfect fit for their specific facility, they provided an excellent 2 hour trial for her. Lynn, Ellie, and the whole staff is absolutely phenomenal and I can tell they truly love/care about animals. They were kind enough to send some photos of Cali after we dropped her off, which is always a nice gesture. Definitely would recommend to others looking(:

Noah's Ark was great. They handled my dog's medication and her particular diet. Plus they gave her individual attention and they were willing to give me updates throughout my trip. I'll definitely be taking my dog here again.

It’s a great place to board your animals, though recently i tried to board my animals at that place and called Noah’s ark, emailed, and tried to contact the owner and never got a response. I used to never had an issue with that until i no longer worked at Noah’s ark. It would been nice if they responded and just told me look we do not want you to board your animals here, i would respect that, but instead they ignored my calls . I thought the people i worked with, were kind and respectful, they were when i worked there and even before i worked there, but since i left Noah’s ark they pretty much ghosted me . It is super disrespectful and unprofessional in their part for doing this. Though i know there is two sides of a story or a reason why they are doing this, and i do not know their reason, but i hope they do not do this to other people, because its really good place to board their animals. I really was debating on writing a review but really wanted people to know that this is what is going on. And hope it does not happen to them. I really respected the workers and the owners there, but now, i am re thinking it.

We dropped off our bunnies here for a week and they got taken care of really well here. The staff are very nice and helpful. The bunnies looked happy and well fed. Thank you for the very nice service

I cannot even begin to thank this crew for how much they have saved me this week with my new puppy addition! I was not ready to leave the little guy at home, so upon short notice, they have taken my pup for day boarding during a hectic week with absolutely no fuss about it!He is still very young, so even pup day boarding made me nervous. I appreciate the consciousness taken to care for each individual dog’s needs and not lumping him into a crowd. After day one, Marshall took to this team extremely well and now grabs his leash from me in the lobby and off he goes…he is just as happy on the other side when I come to pick him up. I feel this to be the best outcome when trusting a small business with your furry best friend!I have decided to day board once a week to let him socialize and become more comfortable being away from us for bits of time! Thank you to the Ark team for loving my fluff ball!

We were so lucky to get a spot here for a night when we visited for a UNC game from out of town. The staff was extremely helpful when booking Cooper’s stay, answered the million questions I had when we dropped him off, sent us picture updates, and made note and took special care to tire Cooper out the morning we picked him up because I had mentioned when booking we had a long car ride back that afternoon. When we picked Cooper up he looked like he had a great time! Next time we’re in the Chapel Hill area, we’ll definitely be boarding a Coop here again.

They took wonderful (above and beyond!) care of our gerbil while we were out of town for over a week. He is older in age, and we discovered he was having a new medical issue literally the morning we had to leave for our trip. We were terrified he'd be turned away or that he would get worse while we were gone, but the staff quickly figured out a care plan with us and did everything possible to attend to him and keep him happy and comfortable until we returned. If I could give them more than 5 stars for the kindness and thoughtfulness they gave him, I would!

We love Noah's Ark! We have a beagle with separation anxiety, and this is the only place she's willingly walked in to when we need to leave her. Lynn and her crew are so patient and take such good care of everyone on the Ark!

I moved to Chapel Hill a little over a year ago and have since boarded my two cats, Vasya and Chive, a few times. Noah’s Ark is the only place I will trust with them!! They are always so thorough and clearly love animals and want to give each pet the best experience. One of my cats has been in a cone a few times that I have boarded her and they are always diligent in making sure she is happy and doing well! Also, the staff here are so wonderful to work with and are always willing to update you on your animals if you call. I highly recommend!!

Lynn and staff have cared for our dogs for over 10 years. They love every animal that comes thru their doors and are super accommodating for all fur babies personalities. They have great hours for drop off and pick up. Facility is clean and staff are super friendly.

I’ve had the best boarding experiences with Noah’s Ark. Lynn has always been accommodating and loving to my dog and cats. My experience has never felt busy or rushed. I leave my pets feeling they will be cared for and attended to lovingly. My pets have always returned home happy without any adjustment issues. I can’t thank Lynn and her staff enough for making our vacation time worry free knowing our pets are safe and happy.

Lynn and Ellie take phenomenal care of our pets every time we're there! I moved to Chapel Hill during the pandemic, and it was a stressful enough time trying to find someone who was boarding, let alone someone who was able to care of both my cat and dog.Every time the pets come home they are incredibly happy from their stay, and are overjoyed to go back. Lynn and Ellie at Noah's Ark make a point to shower your pets with love and give them the care they need while you are away.I cannot recommend this place enough. Truly, if you are in need of somewhere to board your pets, I can confidently say that Noah's Ark is the place to go for both Kennel AND Cattery!

Our cats are too dumb to be left alone at home with a sitter, they get into all kinds of trouble, so we have used Noah's Ark for years.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! They are the best place in Chapel Hill (probably best in the triangle!), very responsive to pets needs, and frankly our cats don't want to leave when we return for them a week later.

My cat Amelia has not boarded before and I was sure she was going to be mad at me for this. I was so wrong! She spent over a week here and came home just as happy and relaxed as can be. She is very social and loves people and it was clear she was spoiled and had lots of interaction and entertainment. What a great experience. Thanks Noahs Ark!

New to the area and have had a hard time finding a decent groomer for my 12 year old mini doodle, We will be back! Noah’s Ark is a delightful little place, they listened to how I wanted my dog groomed and they did an awesome job! I am so grateful to have found a place we will come back to again and again!

I have kept several generations of my dogs at Lynn's kennel and it is the best around I drive 30 minutes and it's well worth the time.the new facility has been designed for the care comfort and safety of its borders. Lynn's love for animals is evident by the care and attention given to all of her guests.The facilityis cheerful clean and odor-free. If you read a negative review they probably mistook it for another kennel or had never been to the facility. Medical needs are addressed by Lynn promptly and she is very capable of administering any needs.My dogs are always clean and calm when I return. Her care is rare; almost unequalled.I can't say enough good things about this offacility. As a relatively new dog owner I was very anxious about leaving my dog at a kennel while I went of town. To make matters worse, the place we initially had booked her online, had double booked themselves and were actually full. Thankfully, Noah's Ark had space for her, and they will be our first choice from now on! The staff were amazing, especially Ellie, who went out of her way to put my mind at ease by giving me regular updates, including this super cute photo of Nela. We had a wonderful first experience with Noah's Ark kennel and Cattery. We were preparing for the birth of our second child and trying to find care for both our dog and our first child, and their kind and professional service took the stress out of arranging things for our dog. Noah's Ark was flexible and accommodating, even after we made a mistake with our booking. They took great care of our Coonhound and shared updates with us. We look forward to boarding with them again in the future!

As you can tell by the picture, Poppy had a miserable time during her week here (sarcasm af). This is my 5 month old (HIGH ENERGY AND SASSY) pitbull puppy with the owner, Lynn, upon pickup this am. I wasn’t ready to leave Poppy but had a death in the family and needed to board her. I am so glad I found this place because Poppy is currently sleeping harder at home than she ever has in the middle of day because she’s wiped out from her pup-cation. She didn’t want to leave and now I’m pretty sure I have to schedule daycare here and there at Noah’s Ark so Poppy can get her fix of their team. Everyone came out cuddled and spent time with Poppy before she left and Poppy clearly bonded with and loved each and every one of them. Ellie: I cannot thank you enough for all the love and pictures you sent me of Poppy while I was away. I was a mess leaving her and knowing she was so well taken care of was relief I can’t describe during a very difficult time. I can rest easy knowing I found a great place to board her should I ever need to. They love pitties here, too, so that was also a relief since they're often discriminated against. Thank you Lynn and your team here – Poppy says she loves you and misses you.

Our dog loves going here! Her tail wags from when we arrive to the time we pick her up. As soon as we get out of the car, she is pulling us towards the front door. The staff is wonderful and always gives us a personalized summary of her visit. This is our #1 recommended kennel!

I am surprised by the one star review left by JS not long ago about Noah's Ark, because he implied the renovations had a long way to go and that just is not the situation at all. I have been present for the rebuild since it started and with the exception of the shell of the building, everything else is brand spanking new and totally clean. I'm guessing he confused Noah's Ark kennel with a different one he toured that day. Noah's has the best cat boarding facility that I know because they can opt to go outside and breath fresh air in an outdoor partitioned cage if they want. The dog boarding is also great for the same reason in that the boarding dogs are not confined to indoors like most boarding facilities but rather they can go indoor/outdoor at their own choice when they please.
