My husband and I stopped here back in April 2023 traveling from Kinston to Scotland Neck looking for a home to buy, BEST breakfast sandwich EVER! We ended up moving from NJ to Rocky Mount and I will definitely be making the 53 minute drive up to Ayden just for some breakfast sammichs! Delicious!Wish I could take 1/2 star off because the bathrooms were pretty gross and hadn't been cleaned in awhile. The food prep area was sparkling though thankfully so still giving 5 stars!

Every morning body loves a hole in the wall place with great food. I visit here jist about Every time I come to grifton. You won't be disappointed with their cheese biscuit or any breakfast item for that matter.

Traveling from Virginia Beach to Atlantic beach. Little gas station, convenience store and takeout grill. Fried chicken was the best I've ever had. Staff and customers are very friendly. Great place for a pit stop.

The parking is difficult. The restrooms were very dirty and so was the store .They cared more about the cooked food than anything else. More like visiting a food truck. No greetings just hurry up and move for the next customer.They don't accept ebt. Purchased 3 candy bars because I had a low sugar drop. One of the candies was expired by over a year!

Excellent fried chicken, one exception of one of the workers giving the smallest pieces without maybe adding at least one larger piece.She’s not very friendly. But overall the service is good

The food at this place is AMAZING. The cheese biscuits alone are worth an hour drive and the ability to have a great meal when we are working a long way from home is a real treat. Thanks y'all for doing what y'all do and doing it awesomely. Also the banana pudding is better than my grandmas, but don't tell her that. Don't listen to Paul McCarn he's a moron that doesn't know his ass from apple butter.

I go here when ever I go back home in Kinston. I live 3 1/2 hours away so I rarely get to these days but I will get up early and go out of way for these cheese biscuits! If only I could figure out how to get a mailed order , hint hint 👀. Thank you for many years of good food and service!

This mini-mart & grill has great grill items for every meal of the day with huge portions on this breakfast biscuits & sandwiches. The lady behind the counter had to do it all herself as they appeared short-staffed, so it took a lil while longer than preferred, but it was good anyway. And they had cups of fatback for sale at the register!! First time ever seeing that! I intend on coming back when working in the area again!

Its a place for trucks to park. They have a very limited selection of items (a lot of fried food) and no restrooms. The employees are fairly friendly and its quiet for the most part. Better than nothing.

Food is ok, but avoid the parking lot out back. It is dangerous for any vehicle. Big trucks break springs and cars damage their undercarriage.

Gas is always around 10 cents more per gallon. I used a brand new debit and credit card and the machine wouldnt read either. Avoid this place unless you can't make it to Ayden.

They fix the Parkin lot over there and the food is so good!Once you enter the store you feel like home.

Had a flat tire had to take to gain weight someone to fix it very unfriendly place no one talked to you no one tell you how long it's going to be so I left just kept putting air in a tire to make it home to get it fixed

Restrooms are both "out of order". It's the law to have functional restrooms in a place of business. That's why there built with restrooms in the first place.
