Love Gwendy's! Had the ooey gooey bars and cinnamon roll which were both incredible. I saw them working on a batch of cookies that look like trucks so I took a picture because I thought they looked awesome! I have ordered cakes in the past that were always perfect and delicious! I highly recommend you stop in to Gwendy's for your next sugar fix!

The ladies here are so kind! We were warmly greeted upon entering. Tasteful music was playing at a comfortable volume while we visited. We took our time as we made our selections. There were lots of choices: from cinnamon buns, blueberry buns, granola, muffins, cupcakes, cookies, scones, danishes, and much more. Needless to say, I chose an array of desserts. I'm beyond delighted with all my purchases. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. The attendant notified me of joining the rewards program. I will definitely be visiting whenever I'm in the area!

After calling nearly every listed Bakery on Google Maps, in nearby Washington, then Greenville, Harris Teeter & two Italian Restaurants - finally found a Bakery that could make my Wife's Special Birthday Cake. Gwendy's Goodies Bakery, in Ayden. Would definitely recommend saving their info on your phone, so next time you need a special cake, you don't have to call all of the Bakeries in surrounding Counties to see if they make it - call here first.

Gwendy's Goodies is the only bakery my family will go to. Our baby girl doesn't like sweets but she will only eat the treats we get from Gwendy's. Cakes, Pies, Brownies, Breads, Cookies, Cinnamon Rolls and many other delights are available. Get over here and be happy like us💗

I don’t want to mess up of what I speak, but I guess Gwendy’s is doing breads on a very regular basis now. Just moved here in March, and one of my first thoughts was “Excellent, I can go to Gwendy’s more”.Gwendy’s is a classic staple of Ayden. Was fortunate enough to walk in Tuesday when breads were so warm I needed the bag to put them in when they cooled down separately.I do have one complaint - I bought the 'regular' round (which literally weighs like 3 lbs) and it almost wasn’t enough for just hubs and myself that day - haha.Go get you some fantastic breads. Now. I’m almost reluctant to spill the beans, but, hot darn, Gwendy’s literally has the best bread I’ve ever eaten. And don’t forget to try the cookies, granola, scones, etc, yum.

Wow we found lots of goodies still available at nearly noon. Had free samples of pumpkin cheesecake bar and guiche. Man what a taste treat!!! As usual, everyone was super nice. Thank you for making this a fabulous experience.

I went to Gwendys goodies just to try it out and fell in love with the cake pops. I ended up asking them to make cake pops and a cake for my wedding. Everything turned out great!

I ordered a custom cake from gwendys goodies. I called before the scheduled time to confirm it ready, and found out there was a mistake and it needed to still be made. Gwendy reassured me it would be made the same day as I needed it, just a bit later. I showed up and she was putting the finishing touches on the cake. Got it to the bday girl and she loved it. Just what she wanted if not more. She said it was the best cake she had inforever. I am so happy with what I got and will definitely do more business with them in the future as their customers service is awesome and the sweets are even better. Thank yall so much.

Always 5 star here😃! In. Detail, a wonderful staff, nice ambiance love the tin ceiling as it be reminiscent of back in the day, and great big band music! And of course delicious treats especially the almond joy cookies. Definitely love in every bite!

Very disappointing ☹️I was looking forward to our carrot cake, 12 layer chocolate cake, and pecan pie that my sister picked up for Thanksgiving. Neither of the three were good. $160 down the drain. The cakes were very dry and the pie’s crust was over cooked.The mini desserts that I have tried before have been good so this really was upsetting to myself and my sister and our out of town guest.
