Best hardware store around. They have a great selection of just about anything you need, ranging from paint to plumbing to gardening and much more. The staff is always friendly and very helpful, if you can't find it all you have to do is ask 1 person and they will know 99 percent of the time. And they don't mind looking in the back to see if they have more of something that may not be on the shelf. It's really nice having them in town, and I highly recommend

Local, friendly, knowledgeable staff, good selection, and competitive pricing. The first place I look for some nut, bolt, or tool that I don't already have but need. These guys really have nailed the hometown hardware store, the toolman would be jealous.

I needed some hardware for the crib I am making for my first son and seen this store on the way to Lowes. figured i stop in and see if they had what i needed. Sure, enough as soon as i walk in I'm greeted by the friendly staff, and they helped me find exactly what i was looking for. had a great conversation with the staff paid and was on my way in about 15 minutes. if i had gone to Lowes i would have been there for over and hour trying to find what i was looking for and would have been treated poorly. I'd give this place 10 stars if i could. Thanks, Coltrain hardware you have a customer for years to come.

great people to talk, i like these lil shops better then big ones like lowes or walmart. The workers are more personable. Will continue to shop here and learn about thier adventures each time i go there and share mine.. still luv it here was there today to pick up stain and chicken feed

Quick stop to pick up some stuff. Friendly and professional staff member. Met the owner on the way out of the store 🏬. She was nice. The store 🏬🏪 will provide a much needed service for the Town of Ayden citizens. I recommend this store 🏪.

Please try them out. Very well stocked hardware store. Really nice small town alternative to the unfriendly big box stores. Staff is very helpful and polite.

Nice store. Prices compare well to large stores. Its great to have somewhere I don't have to drive to far to get something I need now. Seems well stocked to handle just about any need.

Went looking for an outdoor timer and checking the store out. Left with more than I bargained for, lol. Had a great experience! They will be my first stop next time we need something for around the house.

Coltrain Home and Hardware is a beacon in the community of Ayden. The store is beautiful and welcoming on the outside. It is modern and updated with charm for our small town. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Coltrain Home and Hardware is well stocked and easy to run in and out during a project or to walk around looking and dreaming of projects for your home. The selection of outdoor and indoor decor is terrific, and I love the selection of flags. You feel like family when you visit.
