Great shopping experience. I needed assistance at the Seafood counter. A girl who works in the department was able to answer my questions regarding their different types of salmon. I took her advice and cooked it the same day and my family loved it.I also purchased 5 individual chocolate mousse dessert cakes; one for each member of my family. The cakes were delicious, and the mousse was light and fluffy.All in all, the store was very clean and the staff was polite and friendly.

Whole Foods has most of what I need. I am concerned that they are gradually getting rid of other choices of brands and only having Whole Foods brands. They need to carry more local organic foods.

Nothing special. Very tiny store from all the ones I been too. Alot of thing very over price better prices at foodlion and Walmart. Staff could be friendly. Not worth making a special trip out here.

This Whole Foods started as a neighborhood storeAfter Whole Foods bought it, they managed to combine the best of both worlds. The store has a larger variety of products, especially vegan, yet retains its cozy, neighborhood feel.

The Whole Foods in North Asheville is way too small! I like what they sell there, but it is always packed with people, and the aisles are narrow. A larger store would give a chance for more breadth in offerings.Would like a more relaxed shopping experience...and maybe a coffee kiosk?!?

First time Ive ever been in a Whole Foods. Love it! I will be making the 35 min drive from my house. Its worth it. Cashiers are friendly enough but not helpful if one has never been there. She talked to me like I was an idiot. Probably bc of her age.

Great selection of foods and flowers here. I love that this downtown location is within walking distance of my home but one of the main drawbacks is how packed and how loitered the parking lot can get with locals. However, staff are usually very kind, attentive and helpful.

Palm readers, bioengineered in-house prepared food (read the ingredients) extorted prices, pretentious and assuming sales people....what's not to love about Bezos' Foods? Futuristic and dystopian, just how he intended.But hey, we all know it makes you "feel good" to shop in a place that pays lip service to environmentalism and sustainability, so you'll keep supporting it anyway.

Weird store. Very pretty but employees seemed miserable. Amazon makes everything worse. Really felt big brother like with the palm readers. Hope amazon goes out of business.

Just passing through town & needed something & found this excellent WF. Smaller but packed full. Got a toothbrush I was looking for that was 1/2 the price of my hometown WF. Of course, I could not walk out with a few more things. They also carry my absolute favorite confection. Super friendly cashier. Busy & small parking lot with lots of Subarus. Ours fit right in!

Smallest of the 3 whole foods in asheville but carries anything you should need. It also has the best beer selection, with a larger variety than the bigger location on Tunnel road. Theres only a few registers so if you hit it during a busier time you may have a longer wait.

Great quality foods and brands. Loves up to the Whole foods chain. 4 instead of 5 stars because they are pretty cramped inside vs other whole foods, and their cafe is only outside.

Great food, so many options and sales. I went in for lunch and got two slices of vegan pizza with beautiful colors on top! And the cashier was really cool and nice too! - People work hard there, thanks Whole Foods Merrimon!

A fairly smallish Whole Foods, but stocks essentially everything you’re looking for. Ample parking for its size, but expect to bump elbows with your neighbour when rounding aisle-corners. Staff is helpful enough, but either overworked or understaffed. Wheelchair accessible.

Coming from Miami where our Wholefoods are really huge and have many more choices, this Wholefoods lacks variety, but it has a sweet hometown feel and the best is the produce dept.

Better than many of their other locations. I love as many options I can get to organic produce, and this is one of three organic purveyors right next to each other. I used the store this time to return something I bought on Amazon. They sure have streamlined the return process!
