Tana and Ian are wonderful! They were vey gentle and kind with my dog Sara, who is nervous about getting her nails trimmed. We took Sara, and a friend’s dog we are dog-sitting, Merlin, there to be groomed, and we were thrilled with the results! Both dogs are very large and quite furry, but they were handled with ease, and the appointments were completed in a surprisingly short period of time. Tana and Ian’s prices are affordable, and worth every penny. I knew both puppers were in safe and in capable hands. I highly recommend Top Notch Dog Grooming. I will definitely be using them again!

I took my DaisyMay to these ladies and was so pleased with the out come. At first I felt so bad as a pet parent to have let her get in the condition she was in. Then I was so sad that i couldn't help her out of it. So i turned to the professionals and I have to say i don't regret it. They did everything i asked and even more. She is so happy and feels so much better. I will be using Top Notch from now on.if they will allow me to.

Took my little Toby there recently and was greeted by the friendliest girls they are beyond sweet and was able to help Toby in such a timely manner. I really enjoyed getting to meet their own dogs the Pitbull is so sweet. I will be telling all my friends about these sweet girls

Friendly groomers. The girls did an excellent job with my AussieDoodle. Very helpful with information about training for him. Also helped with information about taking care of him between grooming appointments. Priced very reasonably and actually got him in early. I would recommend them to anyone!!!

Amazing! Tana is an excellent dog groomer, not only does she pay attention to the pups looking good but also is very concerned with them being relaxed and enjoying the time there. They are both caring and very welcoming every time we arrive. My boys love going there.

I have nothing but amazing experiences from this shop. They have always been so attentive and amazing to my service dog. My dog isn't a fan of baths, but when she walks into this salon she always has a smile on her face and ready to meet her awesome friends! I feel these people are very reliable and comfortable with them handling my life line with such care.My smaller pup is a bit aggressive and he always comes out looking amazing! They definitely know how to handle dogs with temperamental issues and I could not be more thankful that these people are so down to earth when it comes to my pups! I will forever recommend this place for anyone who needs a bath,cut , or nail done! The owner and employees are always so kind , and if I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!!

Tana is fantastic!! My dog is 60lbs and can have anxiety around new people and especially during baths and nail trims. Tana took the time to sit with her and calm her and let her feel comfortable during the whole process. She uses quality products too which I love. It's so nice to have a grooming professional that truly loves and understands animals. I highly recommend her, your pets will thank you!

I recently took my rescue aussie mix (unknown mix) to this dog grooming service, hoping to give her a much-needed haircut and a good bath. I told them a trim, and to not shave her. Unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. My dog had been abused in the past, and she’s 7 years old, only 1 year out of captivity and abuse.However, it seems that the groomer either didn't listen or didn't care, because my dog's coat was completely ruined after the grooming session. Not only was it cut unevenly, but it was also bald in several places. I was shocked and devastated to see my dog looking so unkempt and unhappy.To make matters worse, when I asked the groomer why this happened, they told me that my dog had been aggressive during the grooming process. The groomer should have called me to discuss the situation rather than continuing to work on my dog and causing further damage without prior permission.Yes, my dog did bite the groomer but I know my dog warns when she’s not happy with something. She doesn’t ever instantly just bite for no reason.Overall, I am extremely disappointed with this dog grooming service and would not recommend it to anyone. If you love your furry friend and want to avoid a similar experience, I urge you to look elsewhere for quality dog grooming services.

They did an awesome job on my miniature schnauzer. I like that they don't cage your dog . They let your dog run free ,as long as they get along well with other dogs. Also no need to leave your dog all day, as they will call you when your baby is ready. Took about 2 hours for them to groom my Miniature Schnauzer

Very friendly and wonderful service. Our dogs are always well taken care of (and loved on) at each appointment! The dogs well being is always first priority with Tana. She works with each dog to make sure they have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Our dogs love her!

Tana came highly recommended to me by my vet. I was very excited to hear that they are getting a mobile grooming unit here soon. My macey and I don’t travel well so I would love for them to come here for that reason. The house call grooming service I received was amazing! Macey warmed right up to Tana and her husband Ian. It was really interesting watching them with her. I have never gotten to do that before. They had all kinds of smells to choose from and shampoo selections it was very fancy. I greatly appreciate them coming here it has been far to long since I last took macey for cut. I will be passing their cards around.

It was ideal to have in-home grooming with my golden retriever Rambo. He likes to be near home at all times. Rambo took right up with them and they did him. They did an awesome job grooming him. Even though Rambo would lay down at random, they were patient, and kind, in coaxing Rambo back up into the position he needed to be in. We will definitely use Appalachian Tails again!

She is so good to my little Havanese. She is very patient with Dolly and gentle with her. She was able to even tell me that a discoloration if her fur indicated a good allergy and I should let her vet know. He told me which food and was able to eliminate it from her diet. I appreciate the extra care and concern she shows to her furry clients. I would definitely recommend her.

We had made an appointment with Appalachian Tails Dog Grooming. The appointment was made for today at 2:30 pm . Well it’s now 4:15 pm and no one has showed up . I have called at least 20 times , no answer. I received a text stating that they were on the way at 1:50 pm today and would arrive by 2:30 pm , still no one ever showed up . I’ve text and left voicemails and still no reply and no service . If I could I’d give this company no stars but in order for me to make a review I have to add at least one , even though they don’t deserve it . Even if they couldn’t find where my neighbor lived they still should’ve called to let us know or get directions . There is no excuse for this what so ever .
