So two items are really what cost this location the 5th star. The parking lot is a total mess, both in its layout and access back to the road. Second, no pizza cause the oven is broken. Not a big deal other than being told "it's been broken for a while." Get it fixed! Other than that, clean, friendly staff, and not a terrible wait at check out. Honestly, the pizza thing alone could get that 5th star.

Beautiful store which I use when pn side of town. Stopped in yesterday at 4:30 to pick up Rotisserie chicken. All were fresh as of 8 a.m. that morning. Dried up and at full price. I appreciate they don't want to waste food but need to do better.

Groceries are a bit expensive, but the warm food is pretty good. I love the fried chicken. The store is clean, the restrooms are clean, and the Laura Lynn products are pretty good. Lots of other products here I'm looking forward to trying.

Clean Ingle's with good staff. This is one of the Ingle's that is closest to my house and is a great location. Honestly, I have been kind of adverse in the past to shop at this Ingle's but that is because it sits on top of the location of what was once my elementary school. Kind of feels like it was built on a burial ground for me. Regardless, it is a great place to shop for groceries.

Amazing staff! The store is always clean, well stocked and organized. This has always been my go to supermarket. The pharmacy is great too and the staff there are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. 5 Stars from me! 😊

I mean they only had one thing I wanted but there's nothing inherently wrong with the store. They have buy in bulk snacks. Lots of labels for gluten free. Bathroom in back corner. Self check out gave me a lot of trouble over some apples.

My wife and I were visiting the Asheville area looking at property. We are from the tri-state area of Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania your store in Asheville, and also the one in Forest city, are the cleanest and nicest on the planet. Well stocked, well lit, everything on the shelves was in order. We were very impressed at these stores. We are looking to retire in this area in a couple years and this would be our store.

My first time at Ingles. They opened at 6am, the place is GIGANTIC. Shelves were stocked full. Tons of variety. Make sure you get an Advantage Card - every product has a regular price and a reduced club price.

If you ever thought Ingles is/was price gouging look no further than the salaries and bonuses of the CEO and board chairman. CEO- 55% compensation increase from 2021 ($2.1m) to 2023 ($3.3m). The board chairman's pay doubled from 2021 to 2023. $3.7m to $8m. 2023 salary $1.2m and a bonus of $6.6m. Pretty shameful to take advantage of customers and your employees so you can live high on the hog. The aforementioned is fact. Look it up!

Worst gas pumps I have experienced. They're electronically slow, don't scan your Ingles card half the time, and the pumps shut off before my tank is full. Very frustrating.

How awsome! Great produce...fresh, local, organic too. Smaller than most but great variety & prices.The folks actually waited on me a lil after 11! I was running for it but still runnin behind. Yet instead of angry looks and bad service I was treated very well, by the CustomerService Manager herself.Good job to all! I'll be back.

Very convenient to Our hotel.As one from out of town and in the retail environment, I would highly recommend that every customer be offered the opportunity, asked, to sign up for your savings card. Had I not been in a hurry, I probably would have gone to Customer Service to refund my purchase and repurchase under the savings program.

Wish they were open like one more hour in the evening, but I suppose their employees would appreciate getting home earlier just like the rest of us, so not going to complain there. Other than the hours, which are out of their control, this Ingles is always clean and very well stocked. Easy to find parking usually and not too crowded. Their employees are always nice and there’s always a cashier available. I’ve never had to wait in a checkout line at this one.

Overall great store. Use caution when ordering a sub from the deli, though. Whoever was responsible for slicing the pepperoni today, failed to remove the plastic wrapper on the log before slicing. I only swallowed a little. This is what I pulled out of the rest of my Italian sub... OOPS!

Did self check-out, the machine took the card and accepted payment. After the payment went through the machine said assistance was required, so one of the workers came over and scanned their card without saying anything. We asked if we could leave as the payment went through and it looked like the machine was asking for us to pay again. The woman then stated "no, you're your own cashier that's the point".Nothing was said to this woman before to make her so rude. She was rude enough that another worker came over and apologized for her. We can't help the machine not working, but it had taken our money and we didn't know what else to do. I'm not paying for my items twice. Thank you to the lady that apologized and helped us out.

Curbside online ordering is very convenient especially for the disabled. Ingles shoppers are communicative about attempting to select correct items, or making substitutions. The Ingles Curbside app, however, is very buggy and not particularly efficient or accurate at making searches. The app is sometimes so buggy that it has been impossible to place order even after completing item selection and payment method details, and even reinstalling app. Very frustrating and often unreliable app.

Bring new to the area and Ingles, I found the store to be something between a Publix and Winn Dixie (not sure if you have either in the Asheville area). The deli and produce section are great. The salad bar is fresh, the olives are great, there's fresh baked bread, and they do make sandwiches, etc. There is a small Starbucks in the store and a place to eat any deli/hot bar items. The store is LARGE and carries just about everything you'd need ... so why the 3 stars, you ask ... well, you need an "Ingles" discount card to get any of the sale prices. The card is free and isn't a pain to sign up, but to be perfectly honest, the items featured as "on sale" if you use the Ingles card, are inflated about 10 to 20%, so when you use the Ingles card to receive the "discount" it makes the items the about the same as you'd normally pay at another store. So when you get your recipe you think you've saved, in our case, $42, when, in reality, the prices are about the same elsewhere without the card. It makes me wonder what tourists do to receive the discount? All in all the store is clean, well stocked, the staff are VERY friendly and helpful. 3 stars may be harsh, but I found the Ingles discount prices with the card to be a bit deceptive.

Went in with my good friend and she is blind. We got a few items. Clerk Becky number 11 checked us out. She made sure I paid for my other items cause we had 2 separate orders. And I pulled my car up to get my friend the car another very nice girl was bringing carts up and waited patiently as I got my friend in the car. This was about 9:40pm. Thank you.

Hate Ingles. I buy fruit and have 1-2 oranges or bananas spoil within a couple days. I used to get everything there, including beer and odds and ends. Not anymore.
