Missy is one of the nicest people you will ever meet but there is a few things Everyone Needs To Know. She does a good job with little dogs but does a terrible job with big ones. I brought in a golden retriever that was about 50 pounds and it looked like she used a weed-eater to groom her.Also, she has a Terrible Habit of not being at work during her scheduled open hours. I have come several times with or without an appointment and have found the door locked, unable to contact Missy. I would highly recommend that you verify your appointments and make sure she is planning to be in during her work hours the day you are wanting to come. If you cannot contacted her the day before, DO NOT GO. You will wast your time staring at a locked door and an empty parking lot. Communication can be very pore here at Wagging Tales.

I took the day off work and got my fur baby ready for his appointment. I arrived at this place and noticed it looked empty, as if no one was here. I arrived at 8:45am even though my appointment wasn’t until 9:00am. So, I figured I was just too early so I waited. Once 9:00 came I messaged the owner and said “I’m here”. She then replied and told me she would be closed because car trouble.Now, at this point I’m super upset. Not because of car trouble because we all get car trouble but because she didn’t even have the professionalism to contact me this morning or even minutes prior to simply inform me. Very unprofessional and huge inconvenience as I took the day off to be here!!

I'm so disappointed 😞 I booked to have my Doodle trimmed and I showed up to get him and she said she over booked and was only able to shampoo him, I was fine with that, so I rescheduled. Come time for the appointment she sent a message saying she was going to have to reschedule. So we booked another appointment, I arrived today and then see a message saying she will no longer be able to cut his hair because he is not still on the table. Ummmm I even confirmed my appointment earlier this week and she said it was confirmed. Now this. This was not professional at all.

When able to fulfill appointments, they do a good job. However multiple occasions and today being the cherry on the top we showed up for a 9am appointment alongside someone waiting for their 8:30 am appointment to being stood up. For a business owner not to call to reschedule shows character. This was our 4th attempt and the business was a no show even attempted to call the number with no success. I believe in giving positive reviews but how can you when the business is inconsistent and customers wanting to pay for services to our fur babies. On to the next groomer in Asheboro, hopefully have better success.

On Friday May, 20th my grandparents dog Levi had an appointment here to get groomed. She groomed him and sent him home. On Thursday May, 26th my grandfather took Levi back to be groomed again. The only problem is he didn’t actually have an appointment that day. See, my grandfather has alzheimer's instead of telling my grandfather I just groomed this dog last Friday and he doesn’t have an appointment. She took him again to groom him for the second time in one week. There’s more….my grandfather forgot he had even taken the dog to the groomer on May 26th. We couldn’t find Levi we thought he had ran off and died. The women never called to let us know our dog was there and needing to be picked up instead she called the pound and had him picked up. We really thought Levi had ran off and died we had no idea my Grandfather had done this. For some reason we decided to just call the pound in case and they told us the groomer had called to have him picked up. They would have put my dog down bc of this disgusting act of greed and down right awful way this women handled this situation. This place is not to be trusted with your animals she has no love for your pets or a sick elderly person.

Advertised $5 nail trim on Facebook from 8am to 4pm. I arrived at 2pm. Door was locked. I tried calling them no answer. Why advertise something if you are not going to do it? I was excited to try a new groomer but will stick to my current place at least they are reliable and do what they say.

She was very nice and respectful. We were desperate to have our miniature poodles groomed since COVID-19 shut all the other groomers down. I don’t think she has a lot of experience in grooming poodles because I asked for them to get enough hair cut off that you can’t see the skin but that it’s short and we wouldn’t have to come back for a while. When I got them back they looked the same as before except I did notice they had been bathed. But I gave her a tip before I got the dogs back and felt $80 for bathing them wasn’t really worth the price and especially not the tip I gave. Let me reiterate that I think she’s a nice person and looks like she does well with big dogs. :)

Took 3 long haired dogs in for summer puppy cut and bath. Picked them up. They wouldn't let me see them until I paid. They don't take cards, which is ridiculous. Saw the dogs...could hardly tell they had been cut, with the exception of poorly trimmed faces.. Very inconsistent from dog to dog. One looked like he had a bowl cut. One didn't look cut at all. One's belly and private parts weren't trimmed. Plus, they have a large dog roaming the shop, which 1 of my dogs was terrified of. The only good thing I can say is they all had baths. Very disappointed all the way around. Will not use them again.

I have been using this groomer since before she opened her own shop . Things were good for a while then stuff like not grooming my dogs and charging me for it . Not showing up when I had an Appointment. Three times she did not groom my dogs and charged me . I am a very loyal person but when you are treating me unfairly or cheating me I am done . I told her I will never use her again and never recommend her ever !

First appointment was a 8am and they showed up late. Again, I had an appointment for today 7/13 for a deshedding of my Huskie, again 45 min and no response and no show, so I left. Not reliable and very poor communication. Never going back again.

I hesitated to leave our review as they were a new grooming business but we took our two in for full grooming, nails and anal gland cleaning. The dogs were “damp” when we picked them up but within a week, it was obviously they’d not had a complete grooming. Worst of all, we got them home and immediate noticed neither dog that their nails trimmed. We called up there and were told, “Well bring them on back and we’ll do it” - we’ve never been back.
