The work there is awesome, I'm a 16 year old, hoping to work there if ofc they want to hire lol, I enjoy animals and I love being around animals!!!!!!! This is the best job for me!!!! I have had snakes and other sorts when I was little so I'm praying that this will work out.

I worked for Larry for many years. The animals ARE cared for, and many cages are changed every day. There are years of experience in this store, I would recommend, if you need help, or have questions about your babies, go visit The Pet Barn.

I put 2 stars only for one reason. I purchased a chameleon from here about a month ago. The workers were amazing! Very friendly, patient withMy questions, and just fun to be around! BUT… sadly my chameleon passed away… I did everything in my power to bring him to health, even took him to a vet, but his sickness was too far along there was nothing they could do! I don’t think they knew at all! I will be going and speaking with them today about it, and hopefully they are as great as they were when I was purchasing! In such a short amount of time I grew a bond with Leon (the chameleon)! My heart was absolutely shattered…

They keep their reptiles in pretty terrible conditions. They had at least 6 ball pythons in one cage. One of them had visible mites and they all had stuck shed and dented eyes (dehydrated). They had no hide, no humidity monitor, no Temperature monitor, no foliage. All of the equipment they needed to make the tank even just reasonable was on a shelf across the isle but not one bit of it was installed in this cage. Thats not even scratching the surface of the conditions the rest of the animals are in. It makes me sick to my stomach every time I have to go in there I always leave feeling awful for those poor animals. When I mentioned that I was worried about the ball pythons because they had mites to the woman at the front she ignored my comment completely.

I've known Larry for years, he is very committed to bringing the best experience when choosing a pet or caring for 1. Has a good variety of products but if he doesn't have what you're looking for he will go out of his way to provide it. Absolutely love being a patron of PetBarn.

Wasn't satisfied at all. My first visit there. I do not have a schnauzer. Yet my dog got a schnauzer cut. He is a lopsa opsa . Not a schnauzer so I'm very displeased. And more than likely will not return. Now his bath and nail looked. But to me he looks horrible.

Been coming here since I was a kid, just wish their puppies weren't 700 and 1k dollars without papers. I've been thinking about getting a parakeet and would like to get the whole set up from here but it would be wayyyy to expensive. Think about lowering your cage prices if you're seeing this :/ before anyone says anything about expensive pet stores this isn't friendly pets in greensboro or one of the chain stores it's a mom and pop pet shop. Which I highly respect but....ouch jeez. Prices. Pictures is a pomeranian puppy they had recently, $700 no papers. Though he was cute so I took a picture.

HORRIBLE if I could give it a zero star I really would. It's sad all the animals are crammed together fighting. I've been there a handful of times and I'm very affected by how sad it is to see how these animals are treated if I could give all these animals a better place to stay I would please treat your animals with kindness. They are living creatures

The owner of this place is the best! Very knowledgeable. Great variety of pets and products. Clean shop and friendly staff. I got my dogs nails trimmed for the 1st time in years. I'd been putting it off for a while because my dog has such bad anxiety. The groomer was quick and did a wonderful job with my 14 year old dogs nails and nervous personality. I would recommend to anyone as the best pet place around.

It's horrible service all of the snakes are shoved up in one tank. All of the hamsters are shoved up together, and they fight and kill each other. And if the mice don't get sold, they just get fed to the snakes. All of the Guinea pigs attack each other and they just let it happen. I bought hamsters from there and they were not healthy. And I also bought a Guinea pig and a rabbit from their way to high prices. Horrible place would not Recommend and they need to shut it down because all of their animals are getting tortured.

Best place to get a pet. I got my pet Ginnie pig there and he is the best thing ever. I love him. And the pet barn is the best. I've been going there ever since I was a child.

Omg how do I count the ways...let's skip straight to 100, I'm in love with this place!! My girl Star, is the most outgoing, helpful and pleasant associate that I have EVER encountered in ANY pet store. Always willing to go above and beyond for us. As for the facility itself...I don't even bother with these other pet stores. If Pet Barn is closed, I wait. If their open, I'm there. No doubt about it. Keep up the excellent work. You guys are my pet heros

If I could give 0 stars I would is this seriously how you guys keep your reptiles? They wanted $60 for a gecko they have clearly neglected and will die from a disease that was preventable

i don’t know how they’re still in business. probably the worst conditions i’ve ever seen for animals. it made me sad to see almost all their lizards are half dead and none of them have lights. they have turtles in the same tank as bearded dragons. the fish tanks are filthy. they have good prices because their animals are all sick. do better.

The best pet store in all of NC! Hands down my favorite pet store! I got my pastel ball python from here, he was healthy and friendly upon his arrival! I get all my pet supplies here including my mice for the python. The ladies who work inside are very knowledgeable about the animals and are always dedicated to wonderful customer service! Gary is amazing as well! Very knowledgeable with his products and always keeps a wide range variety to choose from! Best prices around as well! I absolutely love this place and all it has to offer! I always enjoy a trip to the pet store. I love animals. Even the ones I don't plan on eating. Pet stores have that cedar shavings and water russling aquariums. Puppies yelping . Try getting all that on Amazon.

Excellent pet store. It's on the smaller side, but it's still magnificent. Friendliest staff you'll ever meet, as well as having all their animals in great health, with clean cages and everything.

I love this place! Been going since I was a kid. Over 20 years! Larry is very knowledgeable about everything in his store and more. If he doesn't have it he'll get it for you. I have to drive a little ways to get there but it sure don't stop me. I'm there atleast every 2weeks to get a new fish or etc. Pet Barn is my personal and only favorite pet store. And best of all prices are the best around!

You'll love it here. Somewhat a small shop, but with a huge diversity. Friendly staff, friendly owner, convenient parking. Prices are great. They have a little bird that says "hello" to you when you pass. They have a used section to help you get started when on a budget. I never experienced the "shop local" feel until I shopped here. Can't say enough good things about this place

Awsome people I have shopped here since they were at there original location and prices have always been fair they all know a lot about the things they sell. Also one of the only people I will let cut my dogs hair I've got a shitzu and he hates baths and haircuts but for some reason he loves Mrs Lisa and she does a excellent job with him and my family's dogs. Give them a try she is really busy so it might be a little hard to get a fast appointment but I've also been able to take my little buddy the next day.
