#foodlion long post*I always assumed that a certain Food store chain was a good reputable one until I was the victim of a random accident on their grounds on Monday. They treated me terribly, and here it is Wednesday and I have heard nothing back.Monday morning, I went through the bank atm at the bottom of oakie mountain Food Lion. I pulled forward, parked to put away my items. Looking down at my lap, I was shocked when I looked to my car window and heading down the mountain directly towards me and my car window was a loaded, heavy cart moving very fast. I was shocked, I thought it was going to bust my window, hit my face, or worse. Luckily the cart full of 12 pack sodas hit between my door frames. A loud boom 💥 occurred and drinks started flying all over the parking lot, top of my car. Over my car, boxes shredded to pieces. Landing on top of my car and all. My car is damaged pretty badly, and this is a newer car. Not only was that traumatic, but the older man chasing the cart(his cart) was rude to me and I was trapped in my car until someone removed the cart.I called Food Lion to ask for assistance, not a soul came. So we go into the store after the man is trying to pick up cans and trash from the impact. They treated me terribly, the officer that came out was not the nicest himself. Finally, at the end, an employee said he witnessed it and it was really loud and awful. I said well why didnt you check on us? Suddenly they want to take my information. Well I have called customer service to complain, and here it is Wednesday and I have heard nothing.Not one single person (including the guy responsible) asked if I was OK. Not one Food Lion Employee even greeted me. The customer Service manager saw me and did not speak. I had to find her and speak to her. This was after requesting a manager 3 times or more already, she watched me walk right by her.DO BETTER FOOD LION.PLEASE SHARE THIS.FOOD LION GROCERY STORE CHAINI can tell you Walmart has never treated me this way!

Today I got fixings for swedish meatballs and egg noodles. Found everything easily except the heavy cream for the sauce ( one of the staff quickly assisted with helping me to find what I needed). Ease with the self checkout service and noted the store is clean and uncluttered.

Nice local market. It would be great to see some esthetic and presentation updates, as well as expanded food selections, but overall, this is a sound choice for shopping in Asheboro.

Boy, do I love me some food lion deals. My grandma fell down in the checkout line while the little man behind the register snickered and laughed at her defeat. Didn’t even bother to ask if she was okay. She now needs to have her other hip replaced. Please be more compassionate.

Food Lion tonight was busy but great experience. Store 352 in Asheboro is a little out of my way but Marcela, a young cashier working there is just so helpful & friendly that I drive the extra mile & hope she's there. As we get older most young people don't show so much extra care for us but Marcela goes above & beyond to help. Thanks girl !

Lately way too many employees and delivery folks in the aisles impeding the ability to shop and locate the products you need to purchase. Employees need to do whatever they are doing, stocking, inventory, etc, at less busy shopping times and stay out of their customers way. One customer remarked to me that it was getting worse every week trying to shop around the employees restocking the shelves when he was there trying to shop. As a time reference it was a Tuesday between 10:45 and 11:

I shop at Food Lion all of the time. It's the only grocery store I will shop at! I get good deals and am always treated like I matter! The cashiers are always personable and friendly! They seem to be happy to serve me no matter what I need! Some even call me by name! Besides having to spend money, which no one likes, it's always a good experience! Thanks to my Food Lion friends!

The store was clean an well organized. Prices were low and competitive with other stores in the area. They have a good variety of goods. Most of the employees were knowledgeable and friendly with the exception of one cashier. He was aloof and had some sorr of attitude with an unearned superiority complex. It didnt bother me though because he appeared to be a kid and i got some enjoyment from thinking about reality +/ the real world is gona give him a solid butt kicking haha. I will definitely visit this location the next time the opportunity presents itself :] :]

Food Lion is really good at presenting and providing quality and variety at good value. My net spend is low, when I consider the overall fulfillment of what my family needs. Yes, I drop in other stores on occasion, and I buy a lot on line. But at the end of the day, Food Lion is my go-to. Thank you, Food Lion. You guys ROCK!

Out of stock all the time of items I need. End up having to go to Walmart or somewhere. Same items not stocked continually. Fruit and such as a hit and miss as far as how good it looks. Looking for somewhere else to shop close by but have few places to choose from in a small town

I don't understand why they have a young lady standing at the entrance 🚪. Im crippled and ask if there was any handicap carts available. She mumbles something to me. Latter i found out after sitting on the floor for 15 mins there was one outside they hadn't took 🔙 in yet. Most of the people there are awesome.

I’d just like to shoutout Javonte for being so patient and kind on my visit to food lion today. I don’t normally go grocery shopping without my husband as I’m pregnant and sometimes it’s just hard to get around. Javonte was nice and helped load the groceries onto the belt and then offered to help me get my groceries into the car. I hope his manager sees this. he deserves a raise. I know customer service isn’t always the most rewarding job so I appreciate the kind gesture

Only had 2 incidents of bad chicken and turkey! I love Foodlion and do 95% of my grocery shopping on Fayetteville St..Service is mostly helpful. Not as good in the meat department!
