My dog to board here again b/c I think it's a reasonable priced for BOARDING. This time the young lady asked if I would be interested in allowing him to have a bath and I stated sure. She advised $35. Well on the day a pickup another lady (rude may I add) said it's $40 for the haircut I asked why? When I was advised $35....she says well it just is b/c he has long hair. What???? His hair isn't even that long and if you charged extra for this and that then I would have NEVER allowed him to get a bath b/c his groomer could've done a better job and for $20 extra would have covered a haircut, bath, nail trim, teeth cleaning etc. Ts not the $5 its the principal of not explaining extra fees ahead of time. Then I had my hand out for the receipt she sat it down. Dont get an attitude b/c I asked questions. I would recommend boarding but bathing...no unless your told about all the extra charges and if I could remember her name I would advise that she needs to provide better customer service to all clients. If I would sat the form on the floor for her to pick then it would've been considered disrespectful. So provide me with the same respect.

Fur Babies is a fantastic place to take your dog. All my life my dogs have hated any type of boarding situation and I’ve always felt bad for leaving them, but my dog gets excited for daycare and boarding with them, and sometimes I feel bad for not taking her! The staff is also friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!!

Thank you Fur Babies! This was my dogs first time going to a groomer and they did amazing! Especially with her ears. She won't let me clean them but they were able to clean it out completely. We will now be regular customers! See you in a few weeks!

I've been coming here for years I have an dalmatian and he loves it but I definitely dont take him for boarding no more cause he always gets sick when he comes back home, but he loves daycare but recently the reviews on this place has been getting crazy, I'm guessing it's a whole new staff who dont care for animals like talking about it but while I was dropping my other dog off for daycare I here another dog squealing in the back for dear life like it was being yanked and one of the employees "OH MY GOD SHUT UP STOP SCREAMING" yeeeeeeaaaa I immediately canceled my grooming appointment now my nerves is shot cause I'm at work and I'm hoping my lil guy is ok

I have a silver lab and a black daushound. I used to enjoy using FurBabies to broad and groom my dogs. Im not sure what changes they have had within there facility but we seemed to experience more and more issues with our visits. At Our most recent and definitely last visit, my lab came home with both blood vessels busted in his eyes… which they say “was result from him being stressed during a nail trim”! But after doing research I have found out that is not possible: it had to be from being choked by his collar or something more physical. I Totally would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I understand some dogs may not be cooperative but if that’s the case communicate and let the parents know what’s going on and that you can’t perform the service instead of causing harm to my animal! This is not the only problem we have had but after this incident I’m not risking another opportunity for something else to go wrong. Only giving 2 starts because they are nice/friendly.

After taking our little old dog 3 or 4 visits to be groomed, we were told today to not bring him back due to him jerking during being groomed. He has dementia and they have been of this several times. The only reason he started going there is his former groomer he liked left and went to another city. If you have a elderly dog that does not just sit there, don't take your dog there. Don't take your dog there at ALL no matter what age. We should have paid more attention to the negative reviews before going there. They were more correct.

I've had nothing but good experiences over the years we have been going. I have a miniature schnauzer and I am VERY particular about how I want him groomed and they nail it every time. The scheduling is easy, send out many reminders, and let me know as soon as he's done. I feel comfortable leaving him there and I believe Axl likes it there too. Thank you Fur Babies!!

Took our new puppy there to be bathed after a week of camping. I got my dates mixed up only by a week, but they took her anyhow said they would get it done. Charley was very nice and Ginger came home clean and happy.

I love Furbabies! The staff there are so sweet and kind! They really care about the animals. They treat them like their own. It is a very clean and safe environment for your animals. They let them have play time, and take very good care of them while their owners are away. I highly recommend them. You want regret it! Also their groomers are awesome!

I originally had no issues and was happy to take my baby here. However, our last visit really stressed me out and concerned me. I have no physical proof of malicious acts, however my baby acted so so strange the her last visit and was all but trying to get out of the door of the this place. My baby is 5 years old and has never shown these types of behaviors. Even when I take her to the veterinarian's office, she is excited and curious. She was NOT excited nor curious to be returning to this place. She was scared and anxious pulling me to the door.

Not qualified to care for your pet if they become sick during their stay. We dropped off a happy, healthy puppy and were handed off (because he could no longer walk or hold his head up) very ill puppy. During our vacation we received a call that he may have pulled a muscle and was given pain meds. Not only was the pick up a shocking experience but we were given no updates of how quickly his health had declined and that he could no longer walk. The person that handed him off had no idea the last time he was given his medication and acted relieved to be rid of him. She was very rude. There was no follow up call to check on him. Being that it was the weekend we could not get in touch with anyone to receive much needed information to tell the emergency vet. The next week we called to voice our concerns and we’re treated kindly by the manager but the owner would not call us back. After informing them of my intentions to leave a negative review I heard from the owner. She never apologized or acknowledged the poor way things were handled. She was absolutely the most unprofessional and unkind person I have ever spoken to. She never asked how our puppy was doing. This review is a few weeks late due to our main concerns have been on caring for our puppy. Please, if you care at all about your pet, DO NOT send them here!

I've gotta say the business appeared clean and nice as far as everything you see and all the people I spoke with were extremely nice and very helpful... Except for the fact they can't get your pet in for grooming for at least a 6-8 week window. I just couldn't in good conscience wait that long for a hair cut for any reason. It seemed to be a nice place to put in a pet grooming business since the already have a space and equipment, all they are lacking is people to do the work. If you have 2-3 months to wait these are the prefect people for you.

The staff is unprofessional they somehow "lost" one of my dogs tag which has been on her for years. Both of my dogs got fleas from this place and are now subjected to wearing a cone to stop the itching. In the 6 years I've had my dogs they have never had fleas. I would highly recommend taking your pet elsewhere to be groomed. Will not go back.

I have never met a staff that is more caring or loving toward their animals. I adopted my fur baby from them and he has changed my life! If it weren't for the caring staff and loving treatment of Ghost, I'm not sure the dog I adopted would have the same attitude he does now. I have since boarded him there and he actually pushes me out of the car to go inside. Love this place!!!!!

Fur Babies was the best experience I’ve ever had for my pet in North Carolina! The staff is lovely and extremely well trained. They definitely know what they’re doing and care deeply for all the animals that walk through their door. A beautifully run family business.

I just want to say thank you to the Owners and the staff at Fur Babies, I have tried a few others places but from the first time that I took my boys Krish (lab) and Demon (Husky). They made us feel like family and when my 12 yr old lab past unexpectedly at home the owners reached out and help me through what needed to be done but mostly they were there for me and that meant so much to me, so again thank y'all for eeverything.

My dog has been going there for a long time and I have always been happy! But in the month of June 2021 I have called over 8 times left 6 messages on voicemail due to no answer and the other 2 calls left on hold for 8 mins and 10 mins which I hung up!!! I had a pretty standard 2 week grooming appointment for Petey Black Jack but I need to get a appt but apparently I can’t looking for another groomer. Sad :(

We had our dog groomed at fur babies and they done a great job. Every one is very nice, This was my first time going there and before the groomer would start she called me and discussed the way I wanted to have my puppy groomed to make sure that it was the way I wanted to have it done.
