Dr. Linda Tintle is a world renowned Vet that is a Shar-Pei specialist knowledgeable in the Shar-Pei Breed. She is well know throughout the Shar-Pei community all over the world. Her staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional as well. They have a certain way of doing things here, that are different than any other vet clinic I have ever been. Most Vets will bring your fur baby in the back to draw blood etc, here, you are with your fur baby the entire time which is less stressful for them and for you. There is an on site lab for blood tests, skin scrapes and fine needle aspiration. You know most results before you leave, unless it’s a cytology that has to be sent out. I’ve been bringing my Shar-Pei here for nearly 9 years and have never had a bad experience. Thank you for all you do for my Fur Babies Dr. Linda and staff. You have literally saved their lives, with your knowledge of SPAID and how it’s treated. I recommend Wurtsboro Vet Clinic

Absolutely the best Vet Clinic I've experienced. Dr Linda Tintle is a Vet who cares about your Animal. Follow up from this Clinic is unmatched. The staff are excellent and knowledgeable as well. I know my Shar Pei is in excellent hands now. Will go nowhere else from now on.

We had to put our cat down, and the staff was a great comfort. This is a clean, caring place. Our luck in finding them is all the better because We have a Shar Pei, and Dr. Tintle is the go to on them. We will always use them, they treat the pet parents as well as the pet... Wurtsboro is lucky to have them.UPDATE4/14 - Still the BEST vet we have ever had. Took a nasty tumor off out Shar Pei, and due to them having us there as he was going under and as he woke made it far less traumatic for our sensitive, home living boy --- and us too. Compassionate, expert care is what you will get here!

There is nothing bad to say about this place. I have 2 small dogs and 14 year old cat. One of my dogs has a level 6 heart murmur plus a host of other problems and the care he is given is so over the top. I’ve never had to wait for an appointment, I’ve never been charged an emergency fee, I’ve never been made to feel that my pets and my own feelings didn’t matter. Always professional and always there when needed. I’ve used other vets before moving to Wurtsboro but none of them compare to this office.

Office staff are rude, condescending, lack knowledge and compassion and are just plain nasty. My dog has epilepsy. It's controlled with medication. He had 3 seizures in 24 hours so I called asking what to do and to order a refill of one of his meds on a Monday. No return call! I called them Wednesday to follow up and one of the women had no idea I ordered a refill and just barked at me that she is off on Mondays! Then I inquired about my dogs seizure cluster and the other woman basically said he had to have more before they will do anything! When I got upset at this unacceptable response, she proceeded to talk over me and hung up on me! When I told others about what happened, they all spoke about their own horror stories about this place! Not sure how they have 5 stars!

The staff is wonderful, the same staff has been there for years so they feel like family. I love the way they take care of my furbabies. They are so professional, friendly and knowledgeable-I never feel afraid to ask a question. The vets are all top notch. I have a large rescue dog that is quite skittish and I'm very impressed how well they handle her. I have never felt pressured to go with any treatments I didn't feel comfortable with. I recommend them highly.

Very kind staff and reasonable prices! They offered me lots of advice and services for my girls arthritis. My vet in Middletown quoted me $960 to xray my German Shepherds back leg and offered only pain pills 😵‍💫( Wurtsboro Vet was hundreds less)The only kinda bad thing is you still can't accompany your pet inside due to their Covid restrictions....but the staff comes out and answers any and all questions.

We went to see dr. Tintle today. It took us 1.5h drive but so worth it. She is beyond amazing person and vet. The knowledge and expertise just pours out of her. Our pup didn’t have major issue (yeasty paws mostly) but she knew exactly what to do without doing trial and error like many other vets. She also asks for the weekly phone follow up which shows how much she actually cares about her patients. Highly recommend her if you are in the area.

Hands down you can't find a more caring team of doctors! I LOVE THEM! Staff is caring, compassionate and loving! Have been taking my fur babies there and just recently took my dog that has Lyme disease like the neurotic dog mom I am! I was crying that he wasn't gonna make it! They were so helpful to answer all my questions and do everything possible to help my guy! Rocco, after 2 days of meds, feels a little better and I'm sure will do a full recovery!

The care that my fur babies get from Dr.Linda, Dr. Dean and the vet techs is simply amazing. I have a 13.5 year old Pug with many health issues and 3 Shar-Pei. Dr. Linda is world renowned and has dedicated her career to the Shar-Pei Breed. Very knowledgeable and very busy , but finds the time to help if an emergency situation arises.

absolutely horrible. Anthony who answered the phone has the compassion of a tick. i was in need of euthanasia for my 17 year old kitty asap. this was a Wed morning. already making a very emotional call and trying hard to maintain my composure, all he could do is bark name please, and then again when I couldn't answer in a second NAME PLEASE. I need your name. Give me a break this is an emotional situation it calls for delicate compassion. Needless to say I had to find another vet in a very distraught emotional frame of mind since all he could do is say sorry no appointments til next Tues. Yeah ok my cat need this done today.I will never use this vet again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. I have lived in Wurtsboro 30 years and used this vet whenever one was needed to be treated like this was disgusting.
