Best of the best! We used Overlook Bakery to create our dream wedding cake, and it was a dream come true!!! Rosie was so sweet and the biggest help from ordering mini cakes to have our own cake tasting, to creating the cake of our dreams! I highly recommend a visit to the Overlook Bakery. They’re very accommodating of dietary restrictions, and their gluten-free selection was robust. I had the gluten-free cherry thumb print & cold brew. It was truly delicious and baked to perfection. Don’t miss this!

Rosie and the team at Overlook Bakery did the cake and pies at our wedding and we could not be more grateful to have worked with them. Rosie made our wedding cake - lemon blueberry cake w/ vanilla buttercream and lemon curd filling - and it was a crazy delicious hit. She was fast, communicative, accommodating, and reasonably priced. Our greatest regret was leaving the leftovers in the freezer at our honeymoon hotel…Baked goods aside, Overlook Bakery has *great* coffee! Head in and load up on all the goodies. Highly recommended.

Ordered a cake for my mom’s birthday as we celebrated with a family trip to the Catskills.Got the Cosmic Chocolate cake & it was legit the best cake I’ve had in years. I also had one of their chocolate chip cookies & was super impressed.The owner, Rosa, I think, was super nice and would 100% recommend this. The ganache on the cake was so good & the chocolate butter cream was delicious.

Delicious lunches and great coffee. There is no table service but it's easy enough to cart your own food over to a table or outdoors. I highly recommend the chicken salad which is served on the freshest greens I have ever tasted.

I was recently looking for a last minute birthday cake for my mother in law, and knew we would be driving through Woodstock on our way to see her. I took a chance and placed an order over the phone for one of the last two cakes they had available for the day- an 8 inch chocolate cake with a browned butter buttercream frosting. Oh my god. It was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had! I’ve been talking about it for a week (and I may or may not have dreamt about it). Run! Don’t walk!We also picked up a magic bar and a salted chocolate chip cookie as we were getting our cake- again, super delicious! Thanks Overlook! We’ll be back!

Grabbed a slice of carrot cake and a slice of chocolate cake with vanilla frosting for our anniversary. Although the crumb was nice, The chocolate flavor was light and almost noon-existent. The frosting appeared to be swiss meringue without the buttery flavor which left it crisco flavored. I wanted to Love this carrot cake...I really did. It was medicore at best... Again, a wonderful crumb... Super moist but no real flavor. And the cream cheese frosting? That was an American buttercream with a hint of cream cheese.... Not rich and flavorful as it should be. For 7 + dollars a slice, I expected WAY more. Disappointed.

Cute little bakery. It's unfortunate that most of the cakes on display are only sold complete and not by the slice, but what was available was quite good. Many vegan and gluten free options for those who may want or need that.

I stop at Overlook Bakery on my way to friends who all love to receive a box of their delicious cookies and special occasions are always much more special with one of their lovely cakes. We recently had a wedding party for my daughter who requested a carrot cake. Rosie made the most beautiful and delicious cake. She even coordinated with the florist to display the cake with the centerpiece flowers. When the chef at the venue tasted it, he brought home a slice to his son, a carrot cake connoisseur!

Gouging !!! Outrageously overpriced!! 1 small loaf of banana bread $30 !!! For god sake, I wanted to ask her if it cured cancer. I’ve lived in SoHo most my life, Dean & Deluca wouldn’t even have the balls to charge that much. We didn’t buy it we walked out speechless, then to the supermarket and purchased a lovely large fresh baked loaf for $12. That’s was delicious.
