I have been boarding my dogs to Stay and Play for a few years now and I can truly say that Charlotte welcomes them with open arms and my dogs look forward to staying over. They come home happy and well cared for. Food and medicines are properly administered and I always get great feedback from Charlotte about my dogs well-being. I've never had any worries while my dogs stay over. The grounds and facilities are immaculate and the setting is quiet, rural, and cheery. I absolutely recommend Stay and Play!

We've boarded our boy, Enzo here for the first time a while back. He loved it! Charlotte took great care of him. She texted us a few pictures of him throughout the week. It was great to see him enjoying himself while we were out of the country enjoying ourselves! We're so glad we tried out Stay & Play - they've got themselves a forever customer.

I was incredibly nervous to board our pup for a week because of a previous boarding nightmare around the area. After speaking with staff before drop off and during drop off, every ounce of worry I held onto was put at ease. Our pup had an AMAZING time. She was 100% her crazy, goofy self when we picked her up and you could just TELL she had so much fun. I will scream it from the roof tops, Stay n Play is amazing and I won't ever take my stinker anywhere else. You guys do amazing work, and just knowing my baby was loved on like she was their own is such a great feeling after being so disappointed elsewhere. Thank you for all you do, and for doing it so darn well 💞

My 2 dogs were cared for for 9 days, over the holidays. Charlotte and her staff were fantastic! We were able to take a tour prior to their stay and felt very confident in leaving town. Everything is very organized, extremely clean, and the staff is very loving. My dogs appeared happy, stress free, and clean smelling when we returned.

We’ve had great experience with boarding our 2 girls, Carli and Maddie, at Stay & Play over the last few years. They were excited to get there the other day when I dropped them off. Charlotte and her people take great care of them for a couple of days or a couple of weeks. Always well cared for! 💜

Dogs are NEGLECTED! Please do not leave your beloved furry family member here, it is not a risk worth taking. I left my 2 furry loved ones at Stay & Play and when I picked them up, one looked as if she had been stranded in the woods alone all week. Her fur was in such a horrible scary state. I asked if she had been brushed all week, she said no. I asked why not, she is in her shedding season and needs to be brushed, as I had told her when I dropped them off, that I brush them every day, or 2 at the most. When I asked why they were not brushed upon pick up, she said that was extra. First, caring for a dog should include brushing as needed, where in this case it was and second, if there was a fee, she should have said, we can brush her but it is extra. She never said that or called me saying that she really needed to be brushed. My poor little dog suffered terribly all week with itching and no care, as a result her skin is flaking. I am crying as I look at her. That is not only neglectful but I feel it is abuse, my dog was needlessly forced to suffer because she could not properly care for her. She told me my dog was like that when I dropped her off, this is a complete lie and I encourage her to pull a still picture from her video camera, as that will prove this is false. Her website says she will take excellent care of your dog, that is deceptive advertising . It also appears she left their harnesses on all week as her hair and skin issues stop at the harness. I have pictures of this severe neglect that if anyone picked up their beloved pet in this condition could only cry and be so angry. If this CLEAR neglect is happening, I only dare to think of the possible other neglect and possible abuse that is occurring. I am filing a complaint with the animal authority overseeing boarding kennels to have this investigated so that no other dog has to suffer the clear and horrible neglect that my poor beloved dog did for a week, it is animal cruelty and should not be allowed to continue. STAY AWAY from here if you love your pet! If I am unable to upload pictures, please feel free to contact me and I can show you as I am sure the owner will respond saying it is untrue.

Doesn't this picture (taken by Charlotte) say it all? We have been leaving our Grace at Stay & Play for day visits for a couple of months, to give her the chance to play with other dogs, and she has loved it. We were completely comfortable leaving her for an extended stay - we knew she would be taken well care of by people who love her- and that she would have a blast! She came home clean (I recommend the spa treatment too), tired, and so happy. Thank you, Charlotte!EDIT: November 2022 - Grace just had her second extended stay; she has also had a couple of overnights and we try to get her to daycare twice a week. Her tail starts wagging as soon as she realizes where we're going and it's still going strong when we pick her up. She loves the people and the other dogs - and so do we! 5 stars x infinity!!!EDIT: September 2023 - Grace could have traveled with us and stayed in strange places with strange people....or she could have a ten-day play date with her best friends (dog and human!), running around outside in perfect weather and soaking up love and attention. It's a no-brainer! She came home happy, sparkling clean, and tired. So much more than a place to board - Stay and Play is truly our girl's home away from home.

Our dog was well cared for and enjoyed her 10 day stay at Stay and Play Pet Care in Windsor, NY. Besides the owner of this Pet Care business telling us that our dog did well and enjoyed herself, we heard it from our dog as we started out of the driveway, she cried because she wanted to still be there which was her positive affirmation of what a good time she had.

Charlotte is amazing. If you leave your dog with her multiple times she really gets to know them and for us, Bruce practically runs out the door if he thinks he is going to Stay & Play. Added bonus, he is always exhausted when he comes home. He clearly has a lot of fun and tires himself out.

Our family highly recommends Stay and Play! Charlotte and the whole staff take amazing care of our pup. We don’t feel like we are leaving her behind while we go have fun, instead we are treating her to doggy summer camp where she plays and enjoys new dog and people friends! When we pick her up, we can tell the people there have enjoyed being with her too! Charlotte’s kindness and patience is always very appreciated - as anyone knows, the beginning and ending of a family trip are certainly stressful enough! We feel so lucky to have found this place and it’s well worth the 30 minute drive from our house to bring her there!!

I was terrified to board Kali my bulldog for a one night stay but Charlotte helped me feel comfortable about leaving Kali in her care. She reassured me that Kali was going to be in good hands and she would take the extra precautions that bulldogs need! I felt good about leaving Kali for the night and when I picked her up, I could tell she enjoyed being there. Kali kept running back to Charlotte as we were leaving and that told me that she ENJOYED Charlotte and her stay at Stay and Play! I will definitely be taking Kali back for future stays. It's nice to have a Safe, Fun, Caring place to take your Fur-baby when you need a place for them to stay. Thanks Charlotte!

I have an 11 year old Boarder collie/ Lab mix that we have never left with anyone else other than my in laws. However in April we have a family wedding that we will all be attending so we need to kennel Sophie. I asked a vet friend of mine who he recommended and he suggested Charlotte at Stay and Play. I called her talked to her about my anxiety about leaving Sophie for the first time ever and also the fact that Sophie hasn't really been around other dogs either. She was awesome and totally understandable. We set up an appointment to meet in person so that my husband and I could both see the facilities and scheduled a time for Sophie to have a "daycare day" for a trial run. Well today was the day and it went great. I am thrilled. I'm still a little nervous for our weekend away but Sophie is scheduled for a couple more trial days before the big weekend. Charlotte has been absolutely wonderful.

Charlotte & her team at Stay & Play are wonderful. My husband and I "shopped around" quite a bit before deciding where to board our dog last month when we had to travel out of state for a wedding. Two different people recommended Stay & Play to us, so we decided to check them out. We adopted our dog, Payson, from a rescue organization a little over a year ago. She can be extremely skittish around new people and doesn't like to leave our sides (ever!), so we worried about leaving her somewhere unfamiliar. Charlotte and the staff we met were extremely professional and immediately kind, warm and gentle toward Payson. Charlotte seemed knowledgable and experienced, and I quickly felt like Payson would be in good hands. The property was also clean and well maintained. It was still a little difficult leaving her, but we got a good report when we picked her up and it seemed like all went well. The next time we dropped Payson off, she was wagging her tail and seemed excited to be back. It was great to see. I definitely recommend Stay & Play for boarding.

Cannot say enough good things about Stay & Play. I was incredibly nervous before boarding my pup for the first time because he is reactive at home and can be difficult to manage. Charlotte took the time to listen to my concerns and evaluate my pup to ensure everyone would make a happy fit. My dog has stayed 3 times now and I know he is incredibly well cared for while he is there. Charlotte has also taken the time to provide additional training resources and recommendations and support above and beyond boarding. Highly recommend for anyone considering boarding.

This is, hands-down, the best kennel I've ever used. It's apparent Charlotte and her staff care about the dogs they care for as if they were their own pets. The next time I need to have my dogs boarded I know who I'll be calling.EDIT: I picked up my dogs yesterday after their second stay with Charlotte and her staff and, as before, I couldn't be happier with the care they received.Thank you for taking such good care of my dogs. :)

We were nervous to leave our dogs because they had never been boarded before and our one dog can get very anxious and depressed when left for an extended period of time. Both of our dogs had the BEST time and we were so relieved to have found someone to take such great care of our fur babies while we were away. I boarded my dogs for the first time ever at Stay and Play based off of a very good friends recommendation. I have Blue Heelers which means they can be quite particular and anxious, Charlotte emailed me and kept me updated which calmed my anxiety about them being boarded for the first time! The facility and grounds looked immaculate and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend Stay and Play!

Was looking for a place to care for our dog when we went away. She is 10 months old so leaving her has been hard. We tried an in home house sitting with pet care that didnt work out. Stay and Play was highly recommended by several people we knew. Called for information and Charlotte was very responsive. I like her right from our first conversation. Took Sophie up for a quick visit and was made to feel very welcome. Dropped her off for a day of daycare so she could get used to it there. She came home happy and tired from playing all day. Left her for the weekend with no worries. She had wonderful care and lots of fun while we were gone. Will be using Stay and Play from now on when we go away. Highly recommended! Love it there!Update 12/12/22: We continue to love Charlotte and our pup, Sophie still loves it at Stay and Play. We drop her off whenever we travel if we are not taking her with us. The past few months we have had to travel more than usual and I have felt guilty with how many times we have had to leave her recently. But no matter how often she has had to stay at Stay and Play, she gets excited when we get there and is always happy and tired when we pick her up. I never worry and know she is well cared for and loved while we are away. Thank you Charlotte and staff! We love you! ❤️🐾🐕

Charlotte is amazing! This is the first time I’ve had to leave my dog at a kennel, so I was very nervous about it. This is the absolute ONLY place I’d leave my dog at. She has such a nice and clean set up and is great with dogs. My dog loves to go there and play with the other dogs. I just got back from an 8 day vacation, and he stayed there. She sent me pictures and updates, which I loved. When I picked him up, I could tell he wanted to stay longer and adored Charlotte. This made me feel so much better about going away. I am so thankful for all of this.

My “babies” love it here! Charlotte accommodated us on very short notice when one of our doggies got car sick and We knew there was no way we were going to be able to take them on the long trip south - thank you Charlotte!
