Drive 2 hrs with my kids just for the day to practice skiing as they are beginners. Booked 130 pm lesson for 2 kids. Bought 2 lift tickets 100 + dollars each, 2 hr group lessons at 140 each and rentals with price already at 800 dollars Got there and was told by ski school no instructors are here and not sure how I was able to sign them up online and was rude about it. I was disappointed to learn driving 2 hrs and not sure what to do with my kids as I have no clue about skiing. He then called and found an available instructor which I was happy about. The instructor was great and session lasted 2 hrs after which we only had 30 minutes left to use the lift. The instructor told me one of my child was not ready to go on lift so basically I paid for a lift ticket and did not use and the other one had only 30 minutes to use lift. He was able to go up and down 2 times as it takes 15. - 20 min up and down the slope. Also the cafeteria closed at 4 but based on the reviews I read here i guess i got lucky. Pros— nice slopes, nice instructor, appreciated Oscar getting an instructor last minute Cons: felt it was way overpriced as I spend close to 1000 for maybe 3 hrs of skiing for 2 kids.

It was okay. Was expecting better experience given the higher ticket price. A few trails were open when we visited (end of season so sort of expected). Food price was artificially high, with mandatory gratuity in the food hall. Snow was ok. Power went off during the day but lifts came back on generators later.

lowkey love this place it’s super fun for more advanced skiers (blue and above) and there’s some good stuff for newer skiers too! Food is great, if pricey, though I’d be lying if I said I liked the new style of the place, the old style and owners were better. overall super homey vibes and a great community <3 always be my home mountain <3333

I have been going to Windham Mountain (Not CLUB to me) for as long as I can remember. It is such a shame to see how expensive the tickets are now. The amenities, such as a bottle of water or soda is almost comparable to a hockey arena price! It is definitely not worth $150 per person. I wish the new owners the best of luck! I definitely will not be coming back because of pricing. Their main focus to cater the wealthy who have money sticking out their pockets. Which is something I don’t really have. Hunter and Belleayre are in comparable prices, but not as ridiculous as this. I surely will miss skiing here.

Had a fantastic first time snowboarding here. Very crowded with kids, but our fantastic instructor, Neil, had us snowboarding comfortably enough to try out the K lift by the end of our weekend. Adult group lesson was a small group so we got individual attention. We plan on returning next year and buying boards, which is how you know we had an awesome time.

Is a nice city-skiresort, more or less similar to other city-skiresort. Vertical drop is limited (but not too much, about 1400ft), but runs are nice and some lifts are good, fast, and safe (bar and footrest). Some other lifts need improvement or renewal. Runs are very well maintained, and in general (well) groomed. Staff is friendly and "active" and organized. Parking is free. This is a good venue for intermediate or beginners. Like all city-ski-resorts, it is great because you can get there easily, with a good not too-long road, but you can't compare with a top ski resort like Aspen, Vail, or Dolomites.

Went on a Wednesday in January. Conditions were perfect and absolutely no lines - got 25/30 runs in. I skied with an ikon and a friend bought a ticket. $150 a ticket is a little steep, but for the conditions it was worth it. Easy to access from NYC! Didn’t take the bus, but I guess they also have some weekday bus options from the city! Would look into it :-)

Place is insanely overpriced now. This was my goto mountain for my friends and family coming from North NJ. For over 30 years this was our most visited ski mountain. Last year I went once and was shocked at the lift ticket price at $140. I'm looking now for this weekend and I see lift tickets cost $215 for today (Friday) and and $195 (Saturday). This for March lift tickets with the snow base very thin and many bare spots.Ridiculous. We will never return here. When a small local mountain with lousy conditions charges more than DisneyWorld for a day ticket, there is a problem.

Such a great experience here yesterday with Joanna as my amazing instructor! She patiently helped me with my form and confidence to keep skiiing. (Appreciate that Marcia found me a female ski instructor, my preference.) My kids had a lesson with Nicole whom they loved and they made so much progress and learned a lot of new safety tips. She is studying to be an elementary school teacher so was a perfect match for their ages. There are many beautiful green runs at Windham and it wasn’t too busy, so was perfect for someone still learning to ski.

While working in hospitality, especially at night, it is always hard to find some time to get away and treat yourself to something nice; which is why I took my family and me to enjoy Windham Mountain Club when I finally got the chance. Except, the service here was so bad that there was no way I could've enjoyed spending time there.I tried my best to book a ski trip that was at its fullest potential: rentals, private instructor, snow tubing. I accidentally booked the wrong date for a private instructor and realized it too late but took accountability for it. I would never try to make anyone else's life miserable or difficult, as I understand what it is like to deal with difficult customers since, again, I work in the hospitality industry as well. I arrived at the Ski & Ride School building, where I spoke with Oscar and that's when we both realized my mistake. He proceeded to call the front desk and you can already hear the nasty attitude from the other person on the other side of the phone call. Oscar explains the situation to her and she just goes on and says: "What the hell am I supposed to do with that?" Oscar then told me that I could go to the front desk where they would help me get a gift card for the amount of the private lessons. After we had left the Ski & Ride School building, my family and I decided to just try and teach ourselves how to snowboard. After we finished snowboarding, I stopped by the front desk to retrieve the gift card. Nicky, the one with dark hair, glasses, wrinkles, and a bad attitude, if you see her, you'd know. She just goes "Oh so you're the one I was waiting hours for." Then when she handed over the gift card, I asked if it was a part of their policy to call customers or not if their appointments for the private instructor ended up being a no-show or late. She then proceeded to say in a backhanded manner, "No we don't do that because customers usually double-check and confirm their information."I don't know what her problem is. It's not like I was told to go to the front desk immediately. They close at 4 PM. We arrived at the mountain at 1:30 PM. You would still have to work the remaining 2.5 hours regardless of whether I show up immediately after speaking with the Ski & Ride School or not. In hospitality, I am accustomed to facilities checking up on customers; I do it while working. It's not like I was blaming them for missing the appointment. I took full accountability for my mistake and was just wondering about their policies.Nothing is worse than coming out of a consecutive 32-hour long shift, then driving 3 hours and trying to enjoy time with your family, just for an employee to ruin your day by sneaking in disses and comments with a bad attitude. I truly think Windham Mountain Club should go through intensive hospitality re-training. Even though I have a gift card to use, I'm only using it to stay at any of the hotels it works with. I will never come back to Windham Mountain Club after the experience I had with the front desk.In addition, the Food Hall Kitchen closes 2 hours before (3 PM) closing (5 PM). It doesn't mention that on their website so plan ahead and just eat somewhere else.

This was my first experience snowboarding/skiing, or anything of the sort. With no real expectations other than seeking an enjoyable time, it was the service at the Windham Mountain Club that made it a regrettable experience. The staff at the Lessons desk could not find our snowboarding lesson that we had booked prior and was abrasive as we attempted to sort the situation. Then, a mere foot in front of us, you could hear this woman the lesson’s employee called at the front desk swearing & making bad comments about us as they discussed the situation. We were then redirected to this woman back at the front where you obtain your lift ticket. My girlfriend, who was with me & who works in hospitality, knows more than anyone about customer service. As such, we always try to be understanding about the challenges service staff can encounter. But this was one of the worst interactions with staff we have had while on a vacation. This woman running the front booth where you obtain your lift tickets was outright rude & made aggressive, antagonizing comments when we were simply trying to be helped.I was genuinely confused throughout as to why we were receiving such poor treatment. I cannot say I would ever wish to go back.Food & drinks: As a note: the kitchen closes 2 hours prior to the food hall closing hour. The drinks kept on hand were not properly refrigerated and were warm.

The upgrades to Windham Mountain club have been really awesome. But be prepared to shell out a lot of money. Snowmaking and grooming has been incredible the food is much better and it's not so crowded as other resorts in the area. Overall it's an incredible experience very family friendly. As you can see chillaxing by the fire and kids having fun!

What a total shame how they are ruining this mountain. Been coming to Windham to ski my whole life. 2-day minimum on weekends is criminal. Fine, we will ski during the week. But oh, god forbid you want to eat at an actual restaurant instead of their insanely overpriced cafeteria... NO food options open besides cafeteria on Mondays and Tuesdays. Paying close to $200 to ski on a weekday and the best they can offer for lunch at this "resort" is $19 sandwiches in a loud cafeteria with no table service. Seasons was an excellent restaurant with a diverse menu that was perfect for both adults and kids, and we were always happy to pay extra for the table service. Now they've made it mediterranean only menu. Whoever was in charge of this rebranding nightmare should be embarrassed. Also the $5 RFID card is a SCAM, I have kept my card 3 years now and they always have a reason to refuse reloading it, this year its that it's a Windham Mountain pass not a Windham Mountain Club pass since THEY changed the name, so in reality its a lie that you can reuse your card. Gotta squeeze loyal customers of 3 decades for that last $5 huh? Pathetic, and the last time we will be going to Windham end of an era. We regularly would spend over $1000 per visit with the entire family, guess that money will be going to Hunter now due to greed and dumb marketing

I'm sure the skiing is great. I attended a celebratory lunch as part of a wedding weekend.Other people's food plates were lacklustre in the extreme. My order didn't appear before we had to vacate.Under staffed. The complimentary bar only had one bar person serving. He was very pleasant and keen to please, but he was swamped by attendees.

My parents have a house nearby and I’ve been going to Windham since I was a kid, about 30 years now. They have made it so expensive with their “club” it’s not worth it anymore, very upsetting. $220 a day for a single lift ticket and poor conditions.

Spent $150 to have 2 snowboards tuned. As soon as we put them on realized all 4 bindings were loose. So loose some of the screws weren't even threaded. I go back inside and politely ask the lady to use their screwdriver, tell her what happened - and she tells me to go use the bench outside. I didn't even ask them to do it... I mean a complete tune means that your bindings are fastened superbly right? I go outside to the bench and find no screwdriver to use. I ask ski patrol and still no screwdriver, I tell them what happened and they say "wow thats really messed up." Still no screwdriver. WINDHAM MOUNTAIN CLUB - FOR A FRAYED EXPERIENCE!!!!!

What a disgusting disgrace. My father used to ski here for years. Thank god he is no longer here to witness what has become of this elitist cash grab which serves only the bourguoise society. Shame on you. Skiing should be available for everyone. NOT just the filthy rich!

If you are looking ski lessons for the little ones, specially for the 3 year old group, this is not the place... they should advertise the class as a daycare. My daughter was from 8:30am until 12pm but they took her only 10min to the snow... for someone that seeks lessons then this is not the place. Also, they should include in their "club" website that they don't take kids that are doing potty training.

Got bought out by some rich jerks wanting to turn it into some exclusive club or something so now it’s unaffordable and inaccessible to regular people. These greedy clowns now force you to buy 2 days of lift tickets even if you just wanted to go Saturday, so Saturday day trips to windham are a thing of the past. Prices are soaring and will only continue to get worse. This was a great family mountain that has been ruined by a rich persons vanity project. Would give negative stars if I could. The new owners should be dragged in front of The Hague

Was a great mountain until Windham Moutain Club took over. Rates went through the roof. Mountain biking closed down. Certain restaurants and other things closed to the public....

Family friendly and less crowded than other mountains around. Great value for the closeness and convenience to drive, bus or train from NYC. Ideal for beginner or intermediate skiers, with challenging icy blacks good to improve skills. Nice mountain for learning by yourself or taking some private lessons. Great staff and high quality airbnbs, hotels and the amenities of the quaint town of Windham at the footsteps - very beautiful and relaxing.

Windham Mountain's recent attempt at rebranding has left many long-time patrons disappointed. The once-great resort now appears to be striving to emulate Vail, with a renovated cafeteria and a new website being the touted changes. Unfortunately, these updates have translated into a staggering 30% increase in prices across the board, leaving visitors questioning the value of their experience. Lift tickets now cost a hefty $190, a substantial leap from the $116 charged by nearby Hunter Mountain. Additionally, small conveniences like a bottle of water are priced at an astonishing $7 straight ahole move. The poorly executed rebranding is further evident in the difficult-to-navigate website and a perpetually malfunctioning webcam, leaving the impression that Windham Mountain may be more focused on appearances than delivering a genuine and enjoyable skiing experience. The resort's attempt to mimic Vail falls short, feeling more like putting new rims on a Civic and dubbing it a BMW, leaving patrons yearning for the authentic charm and affordability that once defined Windham Mountain
