Walking in you were not greeted by anyone so we just sat in a booth. We then waited a few minutes before anyone came over to talk to us, the first person only handled the beverage side. I ordered the “Extra Thick” milkshake and was very disappointed, I was able to dispose of it rather quickly do to it being on the thin side instead of “Thick” as I expected. The food was good but nothing special. Coffee was good according to my friends.

Always excellent diner with generous portions.UPDATE 1/2024Had 1/2 lb cheeseburger this visit. Can't go wrong.UPDATE 1/17/2024Had dinner special tonight starter :Beef Barley soup. Main: Sausage, pepper and onion over linguini. Delicious with generous portion . Total bill less than $21. Took half home and had for lunch next day.

We're visitors to the area and tried out this diner. WOW!! It did not disappoint. The lasagna was actually fantastic!! We tried all 3 of the soups they had that day, chicken orzo, lentil, and beef barley...very nice. My kids enjoyed the buffalo chicken tenders and the Alaskan Cod Fish n Chips. Oh and yummy blueberry pancakes 🥞 If we're ever in the area again, we would definitely return! Also the staff was super friendly 🙂

I came here twice!! Both were on the ski vacation at Windham. The food we ordered were delicious and well served. Quantity were enough to stuff your stomach. I did enjoy the warm hospitality on my meal at the cold winter night then.... Recommended!!...

Great place to get good food and good service. Went there today for the first time and was impressed. The portions are big with reasonable prices and the server that we had was attentive and nice. I would recommend coming here to eat if you are in the Windham area.

Good steak. Good soup. Good service. A clean place. Overall an enjoyable meal. 10/6/22 we just had the most remarkable meal. Excellent service, and very good food. Highly recommended!!! 2/19/23 still fantastic! Great nachoes!! We've been back a few times since and twice had issues. Most recently the "newly printed" menu was wrong, and one of the waitresses isn't very friendly.

Don't order the soup, they claim it's homemade, but it's salty canned soup w some orzo and canned chicken.The waitress got the order wrong and wouldn't budge making it right. We ordered 2 bowls of salty soup and a cheeseburger deluxe. We got some burger with bacon and eggs on it, disgusting. Then she was going to charge us for splitting the plate!It is what it is...

Really good meal! I got the americana burger, a pork-beef combo with bacon and a fried egg. Delicious 😋. Surprisingly good coffee too. Nice atmosphere. I would definitely return if im in the area.

Great food , large portions enough for two meals. Sevice is excellent. Keep in mind cash only and no sharing of plates. Really inexpensive to eat. Gyros, Crab Caked, and Meatloaf.

The food was phenomenally delicious & the largest portions I've ever seen! The owner & wait staff were really nice. We had Chicken Marsala, Chicken parmesan, and a burger. Soo many leftovers! Great place!!

The worst meal we’ve had in Windham ever… And my husband grew up here… This place used to be the staple, great food, huge quantities, terrific, friendly staff… We got the turkey special and meatloaf. The stuffing that came with the turkey was so greasy it was absolutely disgusting Liquid like someone had already eaten it… And the meatloaf was identifiable have no idea what they put in it but it was sweet like, maybe some sort of deviled ham was included. I asked for mashed potatoes and they were chopped up potatoes with skins I have no idea who taught these people how to cook, but it was horrible Horrible

Credit cards are accepted!!What a gem to find! Only in the area for 1 night, and stopped in for dinner around 5. We (party of 6) were seated right away, and shocked by the selection on the menu. Sometimes you come across a diner that's doing too much and they don't do any of it well.. this is not that!! The quality and portions were amazing!!We ordered:Disco friesKid's chicken fingersTurkey clubSpaghetti and meatballsMeatball pita pizzaOpen-face turkey sandwichWindham bugerLobster bisqueFood came out quick, hot, 2 days later we're all still shocked by the portions!Great place to go for great food and service! Excellent food for a post-hike meal. Very good service, very prompt. The food was simple and filling but seemed a bit expensive? But with the inflation lately who knows. The water is very sulfurous tasting-- they might want to figure out a way to correct that. I will visit again.

The ham and cheese omelette is Good rye toast. No seeds, good home. Fries were excellent. If it wasn't for green peppers in the home fries which the wife doesn't like, it would have been absolutely perfect. Dishes were clean. I usually have problems in a restaurant with dirty utensils. They were clean. The place was clean went there for breakfast 2 days in a row. First day. No peppers. Second day we had the peppers in the home fries. Waitress took care of us. Got her french fries instead. Those people never stop moving The big guy with the white apron was cleaning up everywhere. He never stops. I could not follow this guy. You got a refills on the coffee. Everything kept on moving. We had the guy waitress the first day and the lady waitress the second day and they took care of us very well!!!!! I can see why the inn sends us to eat here in the coffee was good The only thing they really need is the bathroom doors fixed. Lady walked in on my wife. Need to put better door knobs with locks on the doors. Otherwise great experience!!!! Too bad. We're from Buffalo too far away to come back and we know what good food is. This was good!!!Parking: Parking's a little tight near the restaurant but the food and service well worth it

The food is AWESOME the portions at this diner are large so make sure you come with an appetite . Pricing is very reasonable.Lou was our waitress, very friendly very accommodating and fast on her feet, willing to go the mile to make your experience memorable.Lou always has a smile on her face, and asking how your day was going, always checking back to make sure your happy with your order. She makes you feel welcome every time you go there, that’s the reason we continue going back to the Windham Diner.GOOD FOOD, GREAT SERVICE ask for Lou, you won’t be disappointed.
