I stayed here almost by accident after getting stuck in a bit of rain while riding through the Catskills. Candace and Jamie were immediately welcoming (despite being in the middle of serving dinner) and excellent host/bartender/waiter/receptionist extraordinaires thereafter. I arrived just in time to share in the communal dinner, and I don’t regret it. Chef Dan (who I met later) is an amazing cook. I closed the night with one too many blood orange margaritas in front of a fire Jamie made sure to keep lit. An excellent experience made all that much better because it was totally by accident. Will return, intentionally.

The Eastwind hotel exceeded expectations in every aspect, offering a cozy retreat in the middle of the Catskills. From the moment we arrived, Jamie, epitomized hospitality and brought a super personable feel to our stay. He truly took time to get to know us and make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved him! Candice was also incredible - and we loved spending time at the bar with her. With picturesque views and outstanding service, this hotel, thanks to Jamie and the team, is a standout destination in the Catskills.Rooms: Cozy with great views!

Enjoyed a wonderful NYE weekend stay - this place is a gem! We loved the relaxed atmosphere of the space and the great people who run it. The rooms have great character and are clean and comfy. The staff is friendly, attentive, ready with recommendations, and quick to reply to any questions we had throughout our stay. Jamie, Candace, Eric, and Dan all put on an excellent stay for us, with great festivities to ring in the new year!Drinks were very good and we loved the mulled wine offering and breakfast basket. The fireplace was great to come back to each day after some fun (and chilly) hiking in the area. We appreciated the local recommendations for hikes and restaurants throughout the weekend. Can't wait to visit once again!

We stopped by for a drink and were very overwhelmed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The drinks were fantastic and the food was incredible. Jamie and Candice were kind enough to share with us warm bread that just came out of the oven. Highly recommend such a hospitable and warm place for a drink or for dinner. We will be coming back for a weekend stay soon!

Had an amazing time this past weekend staying at Eastwind Windham. The simplicity of the rooms was really nice but what blew us away was the service and hospitality from the staff especially Jamie and Candice. Anything we needed, the staff brought to us right away, wood for the fireplace, extra pillows. really made our stay special and his drinks are absolutely amazing. While the area is beautiful and the hotel is unique, meeting him was the highlight of our trip!Another big plus, dinner onsite! We ended up getting really bad slush on Saturday night and stayed in to have their dinner and all we can say is WOW!Overall a great experience!

Cute hotel!!!! Everyone was so kind and accommodating especially Jamie!! He made us a bonfire so we can roast our s’mores and experience a little nice campfire before it started drizzling. He is also a excellent guitarist and played so many songs for me and my boyfriend.. I ended up singing with his music and it was so magical and memorable. I would definitely give this hotel a visit again if we are ever in town. It’s such a wonderful intimate and cozy experience, I will never forget about this trip!!

I stayed at the Eastwind Windham location for two nights in the Lushna Suite. The suite is spacious yet cozy, comfortable, and perfect for a nice getaway. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's just a few minute drive away from cafes, restaurants, stores, and hiking trails. The staff at the hotel were very kind, friendly, and helpful. The bar is awesome. Me and my friend played some chess and grabbed a couple of drinks. Overall, I had a great experience staying at the Eastwind Windham location, and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing or romantic getaway.

Our stay at the Eastwind was idyllic. It is the perfect place for a weekend getaway from the city. The staff(Jamie and Candace) was very accommodating and took care of all our needs. **Important to note Friday night dinner** - we HIGHLY recommend giving it a try. It is a 4-course “family style community dinner” that we were lucky enough to have as a private dinner. The staff went above + beyond and even sent us home with extra focaccia. Also, get the breakfast basket!

I had the most wonderful experience at East Wind Hotel in Windham! The place was not just cute but also incredibly cozy, providing the perfect ambiance for a relaxing getaway.I must commend Jaime, who was absolutely amazing during my stay. He went above and beyond to ensure I had a delightful experience. He patiently answered all my questions, making me feel welcome and well-informed. He made some great drinks and delicious snacks, which added to the overall enjoyable experience. But what truly made my trip unforgettable was the live guitar performance by Jaime. His soulful tunes created an enchanting atmosphere and added a touch of magic to my stay. I found myself immersed in the melodies, making my evenings incredibly special.Thank you, East Wind Hotel, for providing such a wonderful retreat, and a special thanks to Jaime for making my stay exceptional. I can't wait to return and experience the cozy charm and musical magic all over again

I spent a weekend at Eastwind with my company and it was an amazing experience on all counts. The rooms are big and cosy and the location is very convenient to go skiing. The common room has a great vibe, with a wood burning stove, boardgames...and excellent drinks and charcuterie board. At night, the food was all you can hope for a mountain experience: good and abundant. During dinner, Jamie, one of the owners, cracked a few notes on his guitar and before we knew it we were all singing along - just single-handedly creating a vibe like the bar Marie's crisis in the west village in NYC, which felt so special. And this is without even mentioning the outdoor fire pit to grill some s'mores and the saunas...Highly recommend !!!

We spent New Years weekend at Eastwind and everything was stellar! The check-in process was very easy and seamless and while we were checking in we were welcomed into the lounge where there was a warm fire burning and were offered complimentary mulled wine and a s'mores kit.Our room was exactly as advertised, clean and well appointed. We also enjoyed the breakfast basket on both Saturday and Sunday morning, every detail was so well thought out and the presentation was delightful. The staff could not have been nicer, in particular Jamie, Candice, Eric and Dan who all went above and beyond all weekend. They recommend hiking locations and provided helpful directions when we got a little lost en-route, and other local recommendations for what to do while we were in town for the weekend. On Saturday evening after the musician had left for the evening Jamie broke out his guitar and everyone had fun with an impromptu sing-along. And finally, on New Years Eve the team hosted a dinner (which we sadly were not able to attend), but when we arrived back they welcomed us to join in the festivities as they were wrapping up in the lounge before making our way up to a clearing at the top of the hotel property where they had set up a fantastic bon fire complete with music, sparklers, complimentary champagne and hot chocolate and a very impressive firework display to ring in the new year.Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a friendly, down-to-earth experience all bundled up in a delightfully chic package.

Where do I start? This place was amazing down to the rooms, the food, and the service! Everything was excellent. The rooms are cozy and beautifully designed. The food was outstanding. My husband and I wanted to go see the town but decided last minute to stay for the communal dinner they have on the weekends and let me tell you I am so happy that we made that choice. The pork tenderloin was juicy and perfectly cooked, the focaccia bread was to die for. What really made this trip stand out was the hosts Candace and Jamie. They were both so thoughtful and fun. Jamie brought out his guitar and played a bunch of fun tunes. Candace is an excellent mixologist and extremely sweet. They both chatted us up the entire night, made us laugh as if we were already friends for a long time. Candace also made us an amazing fire and a fantastic hot toddy and hung out with me my husband and our puppy throughout the night! We 100 percent recommend thing place and will defiantly be coming back in the near future!! Thank you so much eastwind team for the incredible weekend!

During my stay at Eastwind Hotel & Bar I had an amazing time. Apart from the wonderful view, property and experience I feel the need to shoutout the manager Candace. She made sure our stay went comfortably and smoothly as possible, from her wonderful personality that made everyone on property feel truly welcomed to her professionalism as a manager running basically everything to make sure the operation went accordingly. From helping us figure out how to navigate the land, always having an immediate response to any of our requests or questions, making sure our money and time was more than well spent. I cannot express enough how well this woman does her job and stands to be a great example of what truly amazing service looks and feels like.Noteworthy details: Once again cannot express any more gratitude towards Candace for ensuring our stay was more than comfortable

My fiancé and I had the best weekend imaginable staying in a Lushna cabin it’s Eastwind Windham. We already can’t wait to plan our next trip. The grounds are beautiful (even in the soggy rainy weekend we had), the cabins are so cozy, and the communal Lounge/bar area is a perfect place to spend your time. The family style dinner with the other guests was really a standout experience - not only was the food delicious, but the communal vibe was so welcome in a world where everyone tries to keep to themselves. The staff is also incredible - Jamie checked us in and made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel so welcomed each time we crossed paths. He even came and lit our fire pit for us to make s’mores on our last night. He is a perfect representation of hospitality! The only negative of our weekend was running out of hot water VERY quickly in the shower - on an already cold weekend, having to wash my hair with icy cold water was less than ideal, but even that couldn’t put a damper on the amazing weekend we had. Thank you Eastwind!

Our glamping stay in the Lushna Suite was one of our most enjoyable and memorable getaways. The staff was super kind, friendly and accommodating from registration through check out. Candace, Katie and Jamie took care of our every need and Jamie even serenaded us near the fireplace with his guitar, to make it all extra special. The Lushna itself was clean and well appointed and we got to watch the snow fall in 7 degree weather feeling cozy as can be. We highly recommend it in the snow and look forward to going back in any other season.Rooms: Absolutely loved the glamping experience in the Lushna Suite

I've stayed in a few hotels in my time but I can say the eastwind was a woundful suprise. I never felt unwelcome or uncomfortable in my weekend stay, the rooms are lovely and cosy and the food & drink is really good. The best part for me was the service as the people who worked they're really made it for me, especially the lovely lass behind the bar (Candice), she knows how to make a good drink and make you feel welcome, loving smile and caring personality that made everyone of my (Many) visits to the bar a pleasure can't say enough good things about her.Over all if you are ever going to Windham or near it and need somewhere to stay, The eastwind would be my first recommendation.

Had the perfect fall getaway at Eastwind! The Lushna cabins provide the perfect “glamping” experience - cozy with beautiful views of the property. The community feel of this property made the stay particularly unique. On the weekends you can sign up for communal dinners, which are served family style in the lounge. We had the BBQ Saturday dinner and had a great time eating at long tables with other hotel guests. We also had great nights with bartender Jamie, who was an incredible host and broke out his guitar to lead the bar in songs. Jamie was so welcoming and made the experience one to remember.

This place really surprised me, it was minimal and peaceful and all I needed inside the room. The guy at the front desk, Jamie, was super pleasant. He made us THE nicest charcuterie boards I've had in a very long time. My friend and I enjoyed that delicious food in the main sitting room, played a game, and took in a great view as the sun set. Then we headed to our rooms in amongst the trees. It was just gorgeous. Everything was modern enough and comfy in the rooms, although the couch was basic. There was a big fridge and a coffee maker too, and there were no TVs so you can really zone in to the experience of being in the mountains. Loved this place. Also check out the CBD experience at the Windham spa nearby! So good!

This is truly by far my favorite hotel that I have ever stayed at. I grew up in the Catskills, and I love the feeling of buildings like this. Jamie was really friendly and made the stay really exciting and fun. He went out of his way to accommodate and enhance our trip. Thank you so much!Rooms: Warm and cozy! The room is quaint in style but full of amenities, and little touches that make it feel comfortable but not stuffy.Noteworthy details: Besides the rooms, the common spaces are really delightful, full of interesting books, warm sweaters and blankets to borrow, and comfortable chairs to sit and chat, plus fires outside and provided Smores! I had a great time with my coworkers and making new friends thanks to this.

We came here for a company offsite, and were so, so impressed. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are cozy, and the service is outstanding—Jamie and the crew were kind, helpful, and communicated incredibly well. We're so stoked to come back and enjoy the wonderful vibes, good drinks (get the hot toddy with a local rye!), and warm fires.

The Eastwind Windham is amazing! The most helpful and accommodating staff. The property is beautiful and dog friendly with easy walkable and lighted paths to hammocks with spectacular moutain views. We saw a family of deer! There were fire pits every night with s’more kits and the cutest+ comfortable chairs to see the stars. The bartender Jamie was the best! The staff were very communicative and offered many recommendations for day activities to hiking trails/creeks. We ordered the breakfast basket that was so cute and had the best coffee +fruit/yogurt/granola I’ve ever had! The beds were so comfortable and I wish I knew what kind of pillows they had because I would buy them. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and decorated to perfection- they thought of everything. A perfect escape from the city, we will be back!

I was setting out to leave a 5 star review and then I stopped to ask myself why.Candace and Jamie. That’s why.The rooms, location, design, vibe, food, cocktails, and all of that get it there. But Jamie’s charm and music and Candace’s hospitality and craft behind the bar put this over the top.I don’t want to leave. I want every evening to be fireplace, music, house bbq’d seafood, new friends, and Candace and Jamie.

I love the style of this hotel. Came here for a ski trip to Hunter Mountain, which was a little under 15 min away. The rooms are unique with some nice touches (coffee/tea). Our room had a fridge which was convenient, but our friends who also booked with Eastwind said their rooms did not have a fridge. The water was hard, which I did not prefer, but was not a huge deal. I did enjoy the waterfall shower head though. The shampoo/conditioner smelled amazing. The sheets felt starchy, I would have liked softer sheets. The place is dog friendly which is a plus for us. There were s’more kits available as well as a live band playing Saturday night which was a nice amenity. Overall, a nice hotel if you’re going for a cozy Catskill experience.

Overpriced and overrated.Very disappointed. The best thing about this place is their website. Place is nothing like the website. Find their web developer and social media person. Use them for your business. They did a very good job. There is no real front desk. Everything is done from the bar. Staff is ok. Deco is nice. The worst thing was AC window unit. That's so 80s. Even cheaper motels have split units, which is much quieter. It starts like a long mower every 15 minutes, kept me up.Sorry, it's a glorified motel. When you pay $350 a night, you should get something decent. If you don't believe me, pay $350 and try for yourself. I have traveled to 40 plus countries. Biggest disappointment so far.

A great range of accommodation types, beautiful views and grounds, centrally located to a cute downtown and activities. The staff are amazing—friendly and go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and home! The grounds are set up so that you can have privacy if you want it or socialize with other guests as well. Fire pit area is amazing. Don’t miss the communal BBQ night—one of the best meals we’ve ever had!
