Not sure why the hotel is two stars, I thought it was a great hotel. It has a remote and quiet location. I had the pleasure of staying in the jacuzzi room. Gas station across the street, along with a Dunkin and Arby’s (but who eats there, lol). The sheets and the room were very clean. Shampoo and body wash were fully stocked and towels were given. Nice flat screen tvs as well. The only complaint I have is that on the bottom level floor, there is a lot of unnecessary noise of people cleaning and slamming doors. Best to stay on the upper level if you can or you won’t get any sleep. I’d stay here again. Rooms are also very affordable, the room cost me $108. They had me fill out a form, asking me what car I had.. that was weird, I stayed in many hotels and no one asked me to put my plate info.

Horrible experience, neighbors where drunk and stoned screaming next door till 1 am and even tried to open our connecting door. Front desk calling them just made them more mad and even louder. Front desk didn't do anything about it after the first phone call, and we only stayed one night of our 3 night stay.For all my vibers, it's off and not it.Safety: NOT FAMILY SAFEFood & drinks: Close to dunkin and Arby's so....yayNoteworthy details: Vibe is a no go.

Edit... This morning, I took a shower. Please, you must put down some rubber gippers. I stepped in and down I went. Legs went out from under me and flat on my back I went. Luckily, I didn't hit head. I do have bad back pain and neck pain now from this fall. It's now 5 hours later, and I'm in so much pain. There is no reason to slip with the very first step. 1 foot in a shower. Not the way to start a morning. For a handicap shower, all the bars are on the far wall, so there was bothing to grab on to. I think i should have called the ambulance. We always find a Red Roof. This one was on the $$ end. Since it was snowing, we wanted to stop and drive during the day. The employee shoveling did a great job. He stayed right on it all night long. He made sure paths & near all cars were clear. so we didn't step in huge piles getting sneakers full of snow. Thank you! Over $100 for 1 night

My room was very clean. The service is excellent, from the front desk people to the cleaning people. The location is perfect for me just 5 minutes to my destination.Rooms: Rooms are big, even if they have two beds. They have a lot of space and my room was very clean.

Would not recommend did not let us stay and there were a a lot of rooms available and did not let us when we payed for 7 nights and did not let us stay for anything and house keeping DID not clean our room for anything and the managers Tim he is not goodAnd the other two they ARE not good they screamed and my mom for no reason at all and they are India’s ecxsept Tim

Could be so better.The room was clean. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were useless - super soft and tiny. In the middle of the night a noisy vehicle with its engine running ruined what little sleep we were getting. It was a bus or a long truck.“Breakfast”’ choices were minimal, and the coffee was like water (even when “strong” was selected). No fruit. A few sweetened breads.

90% clean. I'm particular about that so it could just be me. No bad smells. Saw lots of updates some older things like the tub and toilet. Staff was great. Pretty quiet. Breakfast was basic with hardboiled eggs, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, tiny plastic wrapped muffins, mini bagels, granola bars and yogurt. Orange juice and coffee to drink. They permit dogs and cats with no extra fee. Wasn't a lot of space to walk our dog. Our Labrador is 60lbs. Overall very happy with our one night stay.

It was a clean and updated room. Nice view and great A/C. Unfortunately, we were forced out of our room at 9:30pm because the guest in the room next to us was smoking weed 🚬 in a NON-smoking room. It smelled like skunk and was becoming annoying 😒 We called the office, and they didn't know how to address the situation!! So we checked ✔️ out!Out with the good people who abide by the laws and keep the jerks who do whatever they want to do.Rooms: nice bed , updated

1) The people are amazing. There just is a warmth and service that you almost never find in small franchise/chain places like this.2) The rooms are comfortable and modern. The bed was one of the best I've ever stayed at in a hotel. Better than it had any right to be.3) When I first walked in, I felt weird and exposed with the curtains open. The second I closed them, I felt comfortable.A little noise from people walking outside the rooms which can't be avoided in the roadside design style.

The rooms are nicer than the outside. The steps to the second level are broken and slippery...and being outside they are very dangerous! This is a lawsuit waiting to happen.Hot water was out, the faucet in the shower is plumbed backwards, and hopefully you only have two people.... as you only have two towels.Breakfast is continental... so dont expect much.The staff is very nice.Not a bad hotel for the $.

Room was clean/comfortable, had a fridge/microwave/coffee maker. All staff members were friendly/helpful/professional. Upon arrival, which was late at night, my lock on my hotel room wasn’t working, Mr.Rooker, front desk person, immediately went to fix it himself, he also helped me with my luggage up the 2 flights of stairs, VERY much appreciated!! Great location to restaurants/grocery store/gas stations/NYS Thruway. Then when leaving a member of the room cleaning crew offered to help me with my luggage down the 2 flights of stairs, VERY much appreciated. Will definitely stay again when in NYS! Thank you everyone at Red Roof Inn!

Good rooms... rooms are bigger than the crown plaza in Syracuse. It's affordable and conducive. Stayed here because downtown Syracuse hotels were fully booked due to Syracuse football or so. But this was the best option as we travelled a lot. They have microwave and fridge in the room. They just need to upgrade their curtains that can block out any light from outside.
