I LOVE my Pet Stop fence!! Jenn and Dan are professional and extremely nice! Their customer service and training techniques are fabulous 🤩 My dog is shy and sensitive and they worked with her at her comfort level. Once she was trained she hasn't breached her boundary even with a dog visiting in my neighbor's yard!! I can't say enough about Pet Stop of the Hudson Valley and I HIGHLY recommend them!! Dan and Jenn ....you guys rock❤️

Great experience from start to finish! Also, really appreciate that even after the fence is installed they are extremely available and helpful with any questions or issues! Another bonus with Pet Stop is that our whole family has used them (with the same 5star experience) so all our dogs can use their collars at each others yards for play dates, family bbqs etc. Lastly, WAY more affordable than a stick built fence, but feels just as safe and secure.

I can’t even describe how wonderful Daniel and Jennifer were! They were so easy to contact and communicate with, and made the process so much easier for my family and I. My experience with Pet Stop of the Hudson Valley could not be any better! From the estimate to the installation, training, and follow-up customer service, Daniel and Jennifer made the whole process easy, and successful. My yard was very difficult to configure but Daniel made it work. My puppy was trained in just a couple of days and now that she is over two years old she knows to give her boundary a wide berth. I removed the little red flags intermittently, as instructed, and saved them. I installed them on a farm to create a false boundary and my dog even keeps clear without a buried cable! I'm a real fan.

We used a brand name invisible fence company 15 years ago . It worked well. After recently rescuing a new pup we contacted them to train our latest addition. The trainer was AWFUL!A neighbor used Dan and Jen Gorr from Pet Stop Hudson Valley. We can’t say enough great things about them! Awesome training experience! Helped us numerous times with tips and questions. They even came quickly to repair a break in the line when we fractured the wire installing a new pool fence!Don’t use anyone else! I was very hesitant to have the fence installed. I thought is was a cruel punishment for our beloved fur babies… I WAS WRONG. Dan & Jen are fantastic! Explained every aspect of the fence with compassion. Listened to my concerns and addressed them. The training is the key . TRUST the PROCESS. Life changing! We have two dogs that would run away any chance they got! Since we had the fence installed, 3 months ago, they have not left the yard. They are able to run and get their energy out so when they are in the house they are CALM and well behaved. Absolutely the best investment we have ever made! Dan & Jen are such great people, always happy to answer questions and came back multiple times to ensure our dogs were fully trained. Highly recommend the system and the people!

Got this fencing system as a Mothers Day present from Hubby. They came installed exactly as we asked. Dan was so patient, explained everything very carefully and throughly, .listened and remembered each dogs traits so that when met them to train he understood them. The system itself has instant results and both pups already understand the boundaries and hopefully stays that way. Customer service, training and making sure pups were comfortable with them was exceptional! Can't put a dollar sign on our sanity and pups safety, but this system is going to be well worth the money! !

We have had a wonderful experience with Jen and Dave and their Pet Stop Dog Fencing. We had the fence installed for our dog in March of 2020. The installation was prompt, installed underground enclosing about 1.5 acres, and the training was easy. Jen and Dave started us off, showed us what to do, how to use the app, and followed through with other visits and calls. Our dog loves the freedom he has in the yard and we don't need to worry about him going in the road. Jen and Dave are professional, reliable and friendly. I appreciated the fence that was installed. They did not however come back for follow up. Either way it was fine. My dog adjusted quickly to it. A long time passes and the battery to the dog collar goes bad. I call to find out what kind of battery it was and she tells me vaguely and said she could send one for $14. I thought that seemed high and asked politely if she could give me a pic or better inscription of it so I might be able to buy it online. She quickly got upset saying no I don’t and good luck passive aggressively. Because I wouldn’t buy her battery she didn’t want to help. It’s too bad I had to witness this because they were mostly great and did a good job. I will not recommend at all. The post customer service isn’t where it should be. I wish them luck and hopefully no one else needs to deal with that.Service: Dog fence installation

It was an absolute pleasure working with Pet Stop who came out last minute (on a Saturday!) to squeeze me in when my dog chewed through an old fence a week before I was leaving on a trip.The installation was quick (about 2 hrs) and they do a great job with training dog and owner how to use the product.Highly recommended for piece of mind knowing you are working with dedicated professionals who are pet owners themselves and genuinely care about the well being of your pet.I will definitely be recommending them to my friends!

I am new to the Marlborough area, and I have 2 puppies. I was in search of a company to install a wireless fence for my fur babies. After speaking to serval companies with different quotes.  Dan and Jen were highly recommended by several clients who have used their services in the past.I must say I am extremely thankful and excited to have chosen them.I spoke with Jen on the phone to inquire about the services and what they offer, and I immediately was scheduled and booked! She was a pleasure to speak with and answered all of my questions and concerns. Dan was awesome to work with!  He went through the entire process with me and explained what would be best for my dog's safety because I am new to wireless fencing. He then showed me how to properly train my dogs. He also trained my dogs himself. I have one dog that is extremely energetic and hard to manage and Dan was a complete pro and extremely patient with my Bailey.He took his time and was calm, which I was happy about, not once did he rush the process and he also made it a fun activity for both my dogs to learn and enjoy. I would recommend both Dan and Jen for a number of reasons but the most important reason of all they both love what they do and they have a love for dogs and that is expressed in the training.They are affordable, with payments plans offered and they are awesome to work with!!!

We recently moved from Texas where our yard was fenced in, to upstate New York, on 5 acres. We tried another company but it wasn’t very successful with our dogs. Pet Stop has been fantastic. We highly recommend them. Right now our dogs are just sitting in the yard watching activities go on and are very calm and peaceful. Before we were scared of how far they would run off to. We greatly appreciate the training Pet Stop gives you. It is all very new to us so we really didn’t know how to train the dogs if we had put a fence in ourselves. Pet Stop has been one of the best investments I’ve ever made. I have two dogs who can climb/jump traditional fencing. They were constantly escaping and going after my chickens. Dan and Jen are great! They explained everything to me and made the training so simple. Dan walked my property and helped me choose the boundary layout that worked best for us. Jen came back to refine the settings and make sure training was successful. It only took my dogs two weeks and they’ve never challenged their boundaries, even with a bunch of chickens running around. I love it so much I came back and ordered units for the inside of my home as well (no more destroying the bathrooms). Piece of mind is priceless! Thank you Dan and Jen!

For starters the customer service over the phone is amazing! Both Jen and Dan made me and my greyhound feel like a number one priority. My dog would wander off into the neighbors yards and ignored my calls, until I found out about Pet Stop from my cousins in Rhinebeck who had nothing but great reviews about them. When I made a call Jen came over and assured me the fence would be worth every penny, and it was! The installation was to my exact specifications. The training was very helpful. We had our underground fence placed for our dogs at least 10 years ago. Jen and her husband are wonderful. Anything we needed over the years was addressed right away. The Pet Stop dog fence is wonderful, greatest investment we ever made. If you have dogs, and don't want them running out on the street, and want them to have their freedom, this is for you. It gives our dogs such freedom to roam and run around on our property. Over time they technically don't even need the collars, because they know their boundaries.We definitely recommend this fence!!👍👍

Dan and Jen are fantastic!!! They were both absolutely delightful to work with. We have had Dan and Jen install fences in 2 houses. They are the nicest people to work with-genuine people. They helped to figure out the best place to have the fencing. I had a Pet Stop system installed about 15 yrs ago and it worked great until the underground wire was damaged in several places by landscape contractors. Dan and Jennifer installed an underground fence on our property for our pup Hunter this past spring. They were both professional and followed through on their promise to help us train Hunter after the fence was installed. We were pleasantly surprised how quick and easy the whole process was! Hunter loves running around chasing after the kids, balls and pretty much anything that moves in the yard. We love knowing he is safe and burning off all that puppy energy. The safety and peace of mind it provides our family is better than expected. Our dog can now roam free on our property of just about an acre, to soak in the sun and chase all the birds or just play fetch. Jen and her husband Dan are the best too work with. Dan and their son even installed our fence in the pouring rain! Jen is always so quick to answer any question, and has even sent us a replacement collar no questions asked. We have used Pet Stop for over 16 years. Jen and Dan have been the ultimate professional couple with quick phone response and answers to any questions. Their instructions as to how to utilize the system is very well detailed and informative . If used properly the pet stop system will enable your pups to be able to run free on their property with no hassle. Rest assued the the dogs learn their boundries quickly. All you do is place the collar on in the morning and take it off at night.
