I have been using Waterville Veterinary Clinic for over 12 years. They have always taken great care of our dogs. The Veterinarians, the Veterinarian Technicians and the Staff all treat you and your pet like family. They are all truly caring and amazing people. When our 13 year old Giant Schnauzer became ill they cared for him like he was their own dog and provided him great care and comfort right up until the end. Recently our new rescue German Shepherd was hit by a car and they literally saved his life. One doctor stayed hours after her shift, delayed a personal vaccination to stay with him, and with another doctor preformed life saving procedures. Our rescue can be a little difficult with strangers but somehow the great techs there were able to calm and comfort him through all the necessary procedures and he has made some friends for life there. This is not an exception. In the 12 years our dogs have been patients there this is the outstanding level of care practiced day in and out with routine appointments and emergencies alike. I highly recommend Waterville Veterinary Clinic.

Has regular Saturday office hours, which is Amazing.Did not have to wait long to be seen. Reasonable prices. Helped our dog immensely.

I've had many animals taken here. They help all they can. Every vet has a cost, but you don't always get compassion everywhere. Very busy place but we are never hurried out.. Good vets who listen. These puppies were very sick when I got them. Very healthy 6 months pups now

My two labs Benny and Lola LOVE coming to see all their friends at the WVC. They go out of their way every single visit to treat my pets like their own, lots of times staff even going out of their way and coming in the room just to say hi and to give love to them. Doctors are thorough and take the time to explain to you what they’re doing. Not to mention they are super affordable in comparison to other places. I’ll never bring my animals anywhere else but Waterville! Sincerely the BEST!

Waterville Veterinary Clinic accommodated a last-minute change in plans and rescheduled our annual checkup and shots. Our dog Phlash thinks everyone at the Clinic has been employed just to serve him, and they don’t do anything that would dissuade him of that notion. First-class, friendly, professional care.

Hands down, PERFECT vet for my Bella! She LOVED her new vet, Dr.Gilcrest......and I trust her judgment of who she feels safe with! I am really picky who I feel comfortable with caring for my baby girl and, let's just say I'm hopefully optimistic! Great group of professionals!

Our chihuahua Tippy had a dislocated shoulder from jumping off the back of the couch. I must’ve called over 30 vets and no one could get her in on the weekend. Finally I found Waterville and our prayers were answered. Our appointment was for three pm and we got there at 2:30. They took us right in and got to work. She needed to be sedated and the bone popped back into place. They were fast, FRIENDLY, and most of all compassionate. We knew our little girl was in great hands. Although this vet is an hour and a half away from home for us, I’d bring any one of our pets there for care should they ever need it. The cost wasn’t too bad considering what she had to have done and it was so much more affordable than most emergency vets would have been that’s for sure. Highly recommended.

Beyond the best vet around! I've had nothing but great experiences since bringing my pup here. The vets are amazing and make you feel comfortable to ask any questions. The staff is always a pleasure to work with as well! 10/10 recommend bringing your animal here since they truly care about your pet. I believe my pet is in great hands here.

It was atleast 2 minutes before anyone, and there were 6 people working in the front room, acknowledged that I had entered. The person who finally did talk to me, didn't smile once. There was a loud conversation happening that had all of their attention instead of attending to me, the customer. It left me with a bad feeling. Typically I have good experiences with the vets and everyone in the check up rooms, but this was not the same experience. I felt like I was a burden to the girls at the desk.

I take all of my fur babies to waterville, granted it's an hour drive but My dogs are always happy to go there with a warm welcoming. The techs are excellent and do their best to keep them happy and healthy. I wouldn't want to bring them anywhere else.

Was there twice in a month and James and Dan Gilchrist are the best! Always honest and through. You can tell they actually care! I’ve been going there for 27years and will continue to take my dogs there!

Very caring staff. A bit pricey but if my pet needs care I look for a vet that will see them quickly and ensure they are healthy and pain free.

They treated my little dog very well altho they gave me the most heartbreaking news that she was dying of congested heart failure... they were very compassionate. They helped make her last months comfortable for her.

My 2 year old Rottweiler, Buddy, tore his ACL in December. Tore his other one the day he came home from surgery for the first. I can honestly tell you I wouldn’t want to take him anywhere else from now on. When I initially called, they weren’t taking new patients. They made an exception when they didn’t have to. They have been there every step of the way and at no time did I ever feel that their first concern wasn’t the Buddy’s health and comfort. Best Veterinary experiences I’ve ever had. Thank You so much.

This kind of makes me laugh, but its sad. I called -- and in a kidding kind of way asked "are you accepting new patients? My wife and I are now in Caz and we've been going to New Hartford for years, we'd like to move our pet care closer". I was pretty stunned to hear -- "sorry, we are not accepting new clients" -- (with a slight giggle). Seriously? For a cat checkup? Glad you are so busy and exclusive. Ridiculous. Turns out the vets in Caz, who are equally busy and jammed, were a bit more gracious and fit us in no problem. I love how some providers, after acheiving success, then deny the very population that put them there to begin with. Typical.

I had the best experience at Waterville Vet today with Dr. Cornelius! My Emma is nervous around strangers. Dr Cornelius came in, sat right down on the floor with her and offered her treats until she calmed down a bit. She took her time with the exam and didn't rush Emma. We have had great experiences with all the vets there, but Dr. Cornelius is our new favorite! She even said Emma was perfect and the best girl ever and I have to agree 😊

I love the vets, and staff, but lately I have had to wait hours for our appointments. I understand staff shortages, but it has happened several times, either waiting before or after the appointment for medication, or both.

I will be forever grateful to Waterville Veterinary Clinic for being open on weekends for their urgent care and emergency service. Unfortunately, my dog Wilson's health had crashed rapidly, and we made the decision to humanely euthanize. Being a Sunday at 6pm or so, we didn't have any local options available to us. So we called ahead, and on our way we went. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the name of the doctor we saw, but he treated us all so kindly, and was so compassionate in the last few minutes of my best friends life. Thank you Waterville Veterinary Clinic for giving Wilson dignity in death, and for being so compassionate for my family and I.

I have been taking my furbabies there for years now...during emergencies, they are absolutely wonderful and accommodating! During times where I've had to make that heartbreaking decision to let go, they have been empathetic and comforting. The entire staff are caring, friendly and patient, and that's not easy when dealing with Fur Parents!! My heartfelt thanks to all of them that make Beaver Meadow a great hospital!!
