This shelter is truly a gem, please adopt your next best friend from there and donate whatever you can afford. A simple bag of cat litter anyone can affort it. Thanks to their low cost spayed and neutered program I was able to neutered my dog without "breaking the bank". The waiting list is short (2-3 months). The staff is helpful and respectful. I highly recommend Beverly Animal Shelter to everyone.

Used to work there and for being a no kill shelter multiple dogs were put down and don't believe it when they say they will take the dog back if things aren't working out as I rescued a dog from there who became aggressive and when I tried informing the owner of the problem and that I was seeking to return the dog she refused to take him back how the shelter says they will and ended up threatening me saying if I brought the dog back she would see me in court for abandonment and neglect. The owner even hung up the phone on me and wouldn't answer when I tried calling back. Extremely unprofessional business that lies about their actions to the public to keep the company going. I highly recommend a different place to get your pets from.

Beverly’s Animal Shelter claims to be “no kill” but that’s far from the truth. The owner/dog warden HATES anything mixed with an aggressive breed. Have a mastiff that growls? Euthanized it is. Cane corso that simply exists? DEAD.Want to adopt a dog from there but you’ve never met the owner and you’re not a board member? You’ll get denied almost instantly and she will make her employees come up with an excuse as to why the applicant was denied.Your dog goes missing and they have it BUT they know who you are? They’ll put your dog up for adoption almost instantly and fudge the intake date!so people please be carful

MOST OF THE STAFF IS NICE.THE CATS ARE VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF.NOT REAL SURE ABOUT THE DOGS.THE DCO IN MY AREA NEEDS TO BE FIRED.YOU DONT TAKE SOMEONES DOG THATS GOT LOOSE & OWNER &.2 NEIGHBORS ARE TRYING TO CATCH HIM,PUT HIM IN HER VAN WITH OWNER RIGHT THERE! ANIMAL ABUSE!!- I recently adopted the cutest cat from this shelter he was well loved by the staff and all seemed great. However when we brought him home he smelt terribly of cigarettes and wouldn’t eat anything. No bowel movements and no eating for 7 days and he lost his voice and began coughing. Very lethargic and sad kitty. Took him to the vet to discover he has a severe throat and lung infection extremely inflamed because they SMOKE CIGARETTES INSIDE THE SHELTER. I had to spend $1000 to get him treated. I guarantee the rest of these cats are in danger as well. Please head my warning and report this place!!

One of their employees stopped at my house and stole my dog and then demanded over a hundred bucks to get them back and then called the police whenever we came to get the dog. Cool part is the sheriff set them straight and let them know that they couldn't charge us as much as they wanted to. The dog wasn't licensed yet because it was too young and yet they still demanded they had to keep the dog until I got it licensed. Then they refuse to deal in anything but cash which proves their shadiness. Bunch of thieves.

Staff are nice, and seem to really care for the cats. Got two kittens from here back in September. Only issue was that they were supposed to hold our applications for 2 kittens (sisters) for us until that upcoming Monday, and when we showed up they told us one was adopted. Apparently that staff didn't know because they weren't told by the staff we talked to. Other than that of course we love the cats we did get and wouldn't trade them for the world (we still got one of the sisters). The adoption fee was about $60 per cat and included shots, microchip, and even collar charms to say they're microchipped .

The dog that was brought in that was abused and had just had puppies on march 9th. They said she died from her injuries but were telling me that she was doing well the week of the 18th and then a week later she “died from her injuries “. And there are so many saying that she was put down.

Awesome place and group of people! We adopted our dog here and sent my father-in-law there to adopt his, too. Super nice and they also offer boarding services with lots of personal attention and care. Very reasonable, too, for the boarding. Great place to adopt your next pet or to put your pet up while you go away on vacation and know they'll be well taken-care of! :)

Don't take any animal there. If you find a lost animal take it anywhere else. They will put animals down. They say it's a no kill shelter but unfortunately that is a lie.

I have worked here for a few years and it's a pleasure to work with the ARC community and all these wonderful cats. I love them so much!Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday store open 8-6 shelter 10-4 Saturday store 9-4 and shelter 10-4.WE ARE OPEN MONDAY TUESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY 10-4 SHELTER AND 9-6 STORE, SAT 10-4 STORE+SHELTER. THANKS* As for review claiming we are dirty and we stack our cats on top of each other, no we do not, they have free run unless injured or I'll or unfixed then they're kenneled. Ty.

We bought an 8 year old Jack Russel. Her time on earth was short but she did everything that she could to make us happy. The thing that we miss most is her talking to us & her smile. She Never knew another day of hurt. She was one of the best Dog's that we have ever hade. We really do hope to adopt another Dog from them. Pippa died peacefully in her sleep. We miss her so much.

I had both of my dog spayed at Beverly Animal Shelter, and I would recommend it to anybody. It's much better than going to a local vet that's going to charge you 3-4 times as much. The staff are very friendly, and really care about the pets that come in.

I would recommend this SPCA highly. They have the friendliest people that work there. The atmosphere is very laid-back and acomodating. My cat is very happy and has made herself right at home in my apartment!

Wonderful staff and great with the animals. We took are dog for creamatio and they treated Jax wonderfully and us too. The price was so much better then Cornell and so is the atmosphere and the people.

Great place, and prices. This is a no kill shelter for animals. The staff here truly loves the animals . Cheapest place to get your animals fixed. They are quick and take very good care of the animals. They are always looking for donations and help. They let supplies as well by all the major brands that are safe for your pets

I'm feel happy I was there & chose to get mine & girlfriends furbabies Mama Kitty, Sophia, Fiona, & pipsqeak spayed at this place. They were really fun to chat with & see all the beautiful furry friends there. My girlfriend & I would highly recommend this place. We enjoyed the people & all the furry friends there.

Beverly Animal Shelter is a small private animal shelter in Waterloo NY. They rescue lost, abandoned and abused animals. They get them the medical attention they need and take of them and get them ready for adoption. The owner employees and volunteers are a dedicated group of people who are totally committed to taking care of the animals and finding them their forever homes. They can't do it without continued donations from generous people. Please consider donating to Beverly Animal Shelter.

I adopted my dog sandy from them she is the love of my life. I also take her there to be boarded they keep the place clean and the kennel area were the dogs stay are great bed and blankets for them to sleep on just like home.

Well I was told over the phone that someone spoke to the kennel manager and I was able to see the dogs at 5:30. After driving an hour I am told by the front desk that the dogs are put away and I can't see them. So I'm giving them a 1-star for the time that they wasted of mine
