This review is for the pharmacy at CVS located at Brotherhood Plaza Dr. in Washingtonville NY. This pharmacy is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever had to deal with. Their service is horrible and they are very rude over the phone. I simply needed to cancel a prescription that was sent to them in error and they were very short with me, cutting my words off and rushing me off the phone. I know they are busy so I was sure to be brief and not waste any time but the way they handled me made me feel my request would not be completed. I needed to cancel the prescription with them in order to reorder it with a mail pharmacy. As I thought, my prescription was not canceled so I had to call CVS back while I was on the phone with the mail pharmacy to have them immediately can the prescription so I can reorder it. I spoke to a second person who treated me the same as the first person treated me. That call will be my last interaction with CVS pharmacy at Brotherhood Plaza Dr. Courtesy and respect is important for me to do business with anyone and I did not receive that at CVS pharmacy.

Came here May 7th, 2024 to fill a prescription for my toddler. Young woman working register at pharmacy was very rude, should have gotten her name. Maybe it's a race thing. Will never be going back here again

Terrible experience with an employee. Nasty attitudes. Washingtonville resident and I will take my business elsewhere after giving this location several tries because everyone has their days but they are pushing customers away with their rudeness and lack of customer service skills and im not even rating the pharmacy section. I hope corporate hears and sees all these complaints. Never again will I step foot in this CVS. The Manager Brianna needs customer service training. Very Very Rude and wouldnt give me the managers name when asked or any other info. Turns out she was the manager herself!

I just spent 40 Minutes waiting on line to find out that a prescription sent in three days ago it still not ready and now I have to wait outside for another 15 minutes and then go back and stand online againWay understaffed And poorly managed

After reading one several of the other reviews I realized I was not the only one that noticed the pharmacy has some trouble and needs to do better. But the purpose of this review for me is to give a shout out to the store worker Livis. During these hard times I realize that a shortage of workers exist and they're being asked to do much more than ever before. Short staffed and handling and working the register and taking complaints from customers on long lines he handled himself very well and professionally. I hope CVS pharmacy realizes his good work and rewards him appropriately.

The review is based solely on the pharmacy. It's absolutely terrible, prescriptions are never ready when they say they'll be. The lines always down the length of the store with one employee on the register doing everything.

The Pharmacy needs improvement. I called two days before my pregnant wife's necesary prescription ran out. I wanted to make sure it would be on site and ready before we lefttown for two weeks. Get notified it was there, wife goes to pickup and they say they needed an hour. I go back an hour later and now they say they don't have it.Their lax attitude did not help either. Using a different pharmacy now.

The pharmacy has become the most un organized. Unprofessional, rude and incompetent staff. The pharmacist was rude and nasty on the phone, not willing to help much. Asked to speak with manager and I was put on hold by what I was told was an associate, then answered 20 mins later telling me she is a manager then saying no shes not, to then finally say she's a front end manager. Was 100% not capable of taking the call and helping a customer for over 20 years.I not be staying with CVS in washingtonville for any prescriptions now nor will I go there for any business.Absolutely unacceptable service

Fantastic pharmacy! After dealing with the WORST customer service at the CVS in Newburgh (not the Target one), I came here hoping they could fill my prescription. The pharmacy tech was SO helpful and was able to have my prescription filled in minutes. There was even a gap in what my insurance would cover and my refills, so they were able to help me with a discount for my medication. WONDERFUL experience here!

Why am I not surprised there are so many negative reviews about the pharmacy as of late? There is always an issue, whether we're getting calls prescriptions are filled and when we get there they aren't, or the pharmacist using their "discretion" not to fill a prescription sent in.

Review for the pharmacy: The pharmacy here is one of the busiest around but always has prescriptions in a timely fashion. The staff is sometimes slow and the wait is long, but they are kind and respectful to patrons. Overall I have never had a negative experience with the pharmacy.On the other hand...Review for the store: do not shop here, that is it. Just dont, prices are high, and often misleading or labeled wrong. Very unfortunate. Was buying candy of different variety and the lazy cashier rang it up wrong and refused to fix it

THIS CVS STORE DISCRIMINATES AGAINST DOGS!!!I went into this CVS Pharmacy on June 13th 2021. I came in with a purse carrying my toy puppy.I was told that I could not bring my puppy inside the store. Yet there are no signs that says animals are not allowed.Also, if you google CVS it says:CVS is a dog friendly store that allow all dogs within their premises. The retail giant does not practice breed discrimination so every dog is allowed inside their stores.I called the District Manager in Corporate and filed a formal complaint on the manager Amber at the CVS located in Washingtonville.This store discriminates against dogs!!! I will not shop at this location ever again nor will I recommend it to others.

Pharmacy: None of the computer systems ever work or are misused by the store. I have had no issues with CVS in the past so it just appears to be this one. They say the refills are ready via text and then you get there and they aren’t filled. This has happened 2 times now. The 2nd time the automated phone system said it would be ready at 12:00pm. I show up at 4:00pm and they don’t have it. Done with them when my refills run out.

this is my pharmacy and on one hand I love them they are good people but for whatever reason it takes most of the workers about 5 minutes to process a transaction at the register. everytime I lose moments of my life here I think to myself that one day Amazon or some other company will find a way to get people in and out of the pharmacy in less than 15 minutes.

Absolutely horrible!!!! the pharmacy is a joke, the line is always at least 10 people deep. Very nice employees working there and I understand it’s not their fault, but they really need to get more help!!

Wow. This place us a train wreck. Went in for a birthday card. Didn't have my wallet only a 100 dollar bill. When I tried to pay for the card I was denied because he ran it in this bullshit machine and told me it was counterfit. So I drove back home went straight back with multiple bills to check. The other employee scanned and had no issues. Manager would not come address me and was very rude when I called. Ending up with hanging up phone on me. Same guy who denied my money. I will never return. Rudy you idiot

2 employees giggling in the back isle. Nobody at the register. Price rung up wrong. I left everything on the self checkout and walked out. These stores are helping amazon put them out of business. My deodorant and q-tipps will be on my porch when I get home tomorrow. Never going back to this store.

Horrific help when asking questions here.... I called got Mohamed on the phone cause I got a caplet in my meds that was empty, I knew it was too late to get a replacement but my question was if I check it prior to leaving the store in the future would they replace it for a full one? I only asked because my meds cost in upwards of $15 per pill and wanted to be sure their policy on this problem, the answer Mohamed gave me was he can't check all the pills like that (Not like its his job or anything), then proceeded to hang up on me. I went to the CVS & asked him the same question in person, he said the same thing, then chose to tell me to take my scripts elsewhere he didn't wan't to deal with me on it again.... Last I checked it is his Job to answer any questions put forth by a customer about the medications they are selling. I guess that only applies when he is in a good mood. So I then called him an a-hole & he asked for me to leave... Not the end I wanted to see to an establishment I had been doing business with for over 13 years, but the true colors have shown, & he deserved a much stronger verbal assault than he got... Stay away from this place at all costs they can't be trusted, and have mis-counted my scripts on more than one occasion.

So I’ve been spending $400 dollars for my script each month on my script. And I called a week before and to see if it’s ready and yesterday then, today I call some lady says she hasn’t even ordered it!? Nice goodbye cvs I deserve better than that. You suck!!!

Didn't do my shopping as no carts were available and I need to hold on as have trouble walking. Was told the manager was using some to put out merchandise which only left 2 carriages available for customers There loss as I was not able to shop
