The literal best vet I have ever taken my fur-babies to! I live in Rotterdam now, but still drive my pets here instead of going to a closer vet because of how much I trust TVAC. The staff are so kind and gentle with all of my animals, and the doctors are very honest about the medical and dental needs of my pets.

This is a clinic that is very thorough, very caring and very professional. I take my exotics .. guinea pigs and turtles and am very satisfied with their care. Although a little pricey, my pet babies are well worth the expense for the care they are given.

We've been bringing our cat here since we found her in the yard as a feral kitten. The staff and veterinarians are always kind and caring despite how tough this kitty can be to care for. This is a wonderful practice that we recommend highly.

The Village Animal Clinic has been the best group of veterinarians and staff I have ever encountered in caring for my pets’ needs! From routine appointments to panicked emergency visits, I was met with compassion and support to keep my pets healthy. When my German Shepherd was aging, the whole staff ensured he and I received the best care, even if it was just taking labs and delivering the results. When my cat came down with an unknown infection, they saw her every other day until her health started to improve, fielded multiple calls from me in between appointments and not an ounce of irritation towards this anxious cat mom! It was a big difference going from a 100# GSD to a seven pound cat but their knowledge and expertise spans so many different animals, I was confident in the care we were receiving. I have so many experiences I think back on and l literally cannot say enough positive things about the team at The Village Animal Clinic.

I brought Asia in because she is good with one of the vets and a couple vet techs there. Other than that the practice has been going downhill fast since Dr. Holly Cheaver retired. She really was the epitome of fantastic caring affordable vet care. Her staff loved her her clients loved her she was ethical and responsible. I can’t say the same for the practice now which is why I pulled both of my working K9’s out of the practice and established them with a different practice. The other major issue is what they are charging clients. It is obscene compared to the other practices within a50 mile radius of the capital district. Yes all costs with just about everything have increased but what they are charging people is just unacceptable and sad. Most times they are charging $25-$50 more for office visits well care supplies medications and so on. While it is important care and there are obviously costs associated with having an animal it’s not ok to overcharge people in this fashion when competitively speaking and level of care as well is not only less expensive elsewhere the care and approach at a majority of other practices is superior in almost all aspects. It is unfortunate because Holly was well known and she is highly respected and I can’t help but feel her legacy and approach she took to caring for her clients and what she expected from her staff is lost now within this practice. I would highly recommend Shaker, upstate, Cornerstone and a list of some other well known practices in the area as they have wonderful staff vets and you won’t be overcharged at a rate 30-40% higher than you should be. I’ve had numerous clients pull there animals from this practice in the last year and are much happier with the vets they are currently using now. Their wallets are happier and they didn’t sacrifice the level of care I and they have come to expect.

The staff here is so friendly and knowledgeable. Having the option to set appointments online and ask questions through text are also super convenient features. Every visit was stress free, and they did everything to make sure Vader was comfortable. Now that I’m moving I’m gutted to have to find a new vet, as they always took great care of Vader. Thanks for all you do, you are all so appreciated and will be missed!

I have been going to the Village Animal Clinic for years. I originally saw Dr. Holly Cheever for my cats needs. She was an amazing vet. After she retired, I currently see Dr. Mike and he is wonderful. He is so caring towards my cats and will take the time to listen and even call me after hours to give me updates or answer my questions. He is so knowledgeable and has been treating my Persian cats for years. The technicians and staff are lovely too. They respond to text messages in a timely manner, which is another great service they offer. The staff really cares about their clients and their pets. I have recommended this practice to all my friends. They are the best!

As always Dr. Mike is top notch. He has been taking care of my 2 Maltipoo girls for 10 and 3 years now. He is always professional , very knowledgeable and gentle with my 2 girls. He always acknowledges how well they are doing and for us to keep up the good work. That's nice to here. I would highly recommend the Village Animal Clinic. My girls just had their 11 and 4 year old checkup. As always the folks at The village Animal Clinic were warm, welcoming and always treat my two little girls like they are royalty. I also can't say enough good things about Dr. Mike. It shows in everything he does that he loves his job. My girls feel very comfortable with him and he takes such good care of them. I would recommend anyone and everyone who has animals to The Village Animal Clinic and Dr. MIke.

When we first moved upstate a year ago, they were not accepting new patients. We recently adopted 3 kittens and we were able to get appointments for them here.Everyone has been very pleasant, and they do a good job scheduling, so that you aren't waiting too long past your appointment time to be seen.Some minor bumps here and there that kept me from giving 5 stars, but overall, very happy with the quality of care and professionalism they provide.

I switched vets recently because I heard really good things about village and my shar pei deserves a good vet. So far they’ve proved to be just like any other place. I’ve had to pay for services twice a few instances. Had to ask to not be seen by a certain veterinarian. Prices are a little high. I don’t like writing bad reviews but they wouldn’t stop asking me to write one. The appointment times are convenient. The techs and Dr Storey are very nice.

We are new clients at The Village Animal Clinic as we have just moved to the Village of Voorheesville. Our two older Orange Tabby cats saw Dr. Goodfellow for the first time last week and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The Dr. and all of the staff were very welcoming and we felt very comfortable bringing our pets there for the first time. We've gone to quite a few vets for our exotic pets (ferrets) but The Village Animal Clinic is definitely one of the best! It is about an hour drive from home but worth every minute. They are always very friendly and the vets are extremely knowledgeable and take very good care of our animals every time. They always call to check up on how they are doing after anything that isn't routine. We 100% recommend them!

I split time between Westchester and Albany. I discovered the amazing VAC team in summer 2018 when my senior dachshund needed surgical care for an aggressive malignant melanoma. Since that time my little pet family has had surgeries, routine wellness-visits, calls to answer my questions, needing to put my dog to sleep, and most recently new dachshund puppy vaccinations. The team is wonderful and truly loves animals. The office is clean and comfortable. I can't recommend this practice highly enough.

The entire staff works well together, from the welcoming reception to the compassionate team inside of the appointment room, and collectively does an amazing job communicating with me. "No news is good news" does not apply with The Village Animal Clinic. They never hesitate with open communication, which displays how honest of a business they run. I truly feel like a valued customer. I have been a patron with them for several years and recommended them to all of my friends. By no means are they the closest clinic to my residence. In fact, I pass four clinics to get to them. And I take the trip happily every time.

The staff was great. We arrived a few minutes before our appointment as it was our first visit here. We were greeted with a smile and they had all the information we had sent ahead of time. We were immediately put in a room. There was a short wait for the Vet but she was apologetic for running late and VERY kind. My dog was a little anxious and Dr. Kate and the Vet Tech were VERY patient. We transferred from another clinic after some bad experiences and I think we will be VERY happy here.

I have been going here for 5 years now for 2 dogs and they are absolutely amazing. I have 1 dog now that has major anxiety issues and they work with us to make sure she gets everything she needs when we bring her in, and she can be extremely unpleasant. They are very thorough and their follow up is great. They were great with my beagle too before he passed in 2021. He had a lot of medical issues and they were very good about giving him what he needed. Everyone, staff, doctors, are super friendly and accommodating too.
