I would give this third world dictator restaurant owner a zero, but I was concerned the algorithm would have just not recorded it as if I skipped not giving any star. While the food was fine, it wasn't at all what was presented on Uber. Evidently the big crispy roast beef sub sandwich is no longer selling. Not even with American cheese. My Uber points awarded me a free sandwich. But the Utica Boss and owner of this establishment waited til delivery at doorstep to call me telling me he can't delivery a free sandwich to my loved one in his motel room unless I paid for it. Seems to me that's his responsibility to contact Uber, NOT a customer to whom I was told from his employee on the phone that the order is all set and paid for. I don't mind paying for the item I ordered at full price without Uber reward being used, but the lack of communication between owner and Uber is pathetic, let alone the allowing me to believe the order was all set and paid for was just as pathetic. But the owner waiting to drive all the way to doorstep of my loved one to btch about extra money to his face THEN calling me to explain HE would suffer the loss of it was a freebie was unacceptable. That's his problem between the agreement of policies between him and Uber not dragging me an honest customer in the middle! Perhaps the real culprit is Uber and not the restaurant owner, I get it. But how will I ever know unless HE straightens this issue out with Uber. For until he does, it reflects in part on his establishment as much as Uber.

The new Chicken Ceasar wrap was great. The beach club was even better. The staff at this place is very polite and told us clearly what the favorite is and guided us with our options. Would come back when I'm in Utica next.

I stopped here while in Utica for a quick dinner - customer service was amazing! Eddie, the gentleman working the counter, answered the phones, and was coaching employees all at the same time. He remained calm with what I would call annoying customers. He was fantastic - great customer service skills!

The bread is fresher than Subways and they suppose to bake their bread fresh every day. The place is always clean and the people serving you is very respectful. Wish there were other restaurants like this.

really nice Jimmy Johns attractive interior with outside seating. Parking is difficult, but if you are downtown you might be walking anyway. Brand new location - so all modern and super clean. Fast service!

When they say freaky fast they mean it! My order was done within a minute of ordering it. Fresh ingredients, decent prices and no tummyache like my local "Way of the Sub" has been doing me. Cute little shop on the corner, well lit and since it's new, no maintenance or cosmetic issues. Will definitely be back or maybe I'll try the delivery next time! Super happy they put one in Utica now.

Their subs are really good but their prices are really high. My husband and I order 2 lo g subs and it cost is 32 dollars. The place was nice and clean and the man working there was really nice. It took him 15 mins to make 2 subs.

This Jimmy John's in Utica, NY goes WAY above and beyond for customer service! I was on my way from Albany to Ogdensburg and stopped for a Frenchie. They were in the process of baking the rolls and wouldnt let me leave without making sure I was satisfied! GREAT customer service, great staff!! I will definitely be coming back here when I'm in town for work and will definitely recommend this location to my colleagues when THEY travel here for work as well!!

Called and ordered delivery to my work and jokingly mentioned that I was pregnant and starving and when I opened the bag he added extra pickles to bag. He truly knows what pregnant women want haha! That was so kind, thank you so much!

The staff are very accommodating and friendly. There was an entire sports team getting food and it took a while to get my sub but they gave me my soda and chips for free!(Also I was not paying attention and did not order the meal, but regardless very nice staff!)

I enjoyed the bread/roll. I didn't care for the rest. The other two sandwiches I ordered had errors.I wish they had an option to cook/heat the meat. Cold bacon isn't appealing to me.

The 'Unwich' is delicious!! Healthy, low carb, yet filling. Friendly staff. Dalton was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!
