Best place ever to get paint and other hardware supplies and all kinds of variety store items...I drive 20 plus miles to shop there because I can trust everyone to be honest and k owledheable and prices are reasonable...beats most other places for value and trustworthiness...it's worth the drive for me...everyone is FAMILY to me

This is one of my favorite stores in the area because they have practically everything, and what they don't have, they can get. Their store is packed to the brim with products, and the staff is very helpful and attentive. This shop gives back to the community in so many ways all year long, and I'm proud to have it and its staff in our town. :)

Always excellent service and selection. A small town business run by small town community memebers and a small town necessity. Everything you need from Benjamine Moore Paint to your basic hardware need to cleaning chemicals to houseware goods to garden mulch and holiday decorations and your seasonal needs. If they dont have it they can usually order it with weekly shipments.

Any business that needs an example of how to make sure people shop locally should look at this place, they just get it right. Good selection, great customer service and if they don't have it they will get it quickly, and at very competitive prices. Why go anywhere else?

Building a house and maintaining our rental property requires hardware, paint and tools.. This store always comes through! Even if they don't have exactly what I'm after, I can always find something I can use. Bought almost all my plumbing and electrical supplies as well as smoke detectors, pumps, paint and supplies.. you name it! Sure beats driving to Oneonta for a couple tubes of glue! If you have never been in the store, GO!! you will be glad you did!

This is by far the best place around to get *anything* you need. I can't begin to list what they have. Except for groceries, Village Variety is the store for everything — indoors and out. (Hint: Grab a basket on the way in. You'll see something you need. And something else. And something else....)
