Valley Veterinary Associates is a phenomenal place. We had an emergency on a Friday evening and Valley Veterinary Associates was the only place that took our boy Winston, even though we were not current patients. The staff was caring and very supportive throughout the process. Dr. Davis was thorough and helped us to make the right decision for our dog. The prices were responsible, especially for an emergency visit. Our dog had to stay overnight, and they kept us informed every step of the way on his progress. When Winston was able to come home, Dr. Davis called us the next morning to check in on his progress. They are compassionate and very educated. Thank you to all of the staff at Valley Veterinary Associates for your care and compassion and most of all for giving us peace of mind and treating our boy like one of your own. We are forever thankful for the care we received.

I live far from this Vet. However, I have been loyal to them for the past 2 years because of their swift care, emergency availability and their dedication to their work no matter how busy they are. We are very grateful for the care our dog Gator , received at valley veterinary after he had a bad experience with a porcupine. It's nice to know that on a weekend you can still get help for something as traumatic as this. The staff was very caring and knowledgeable and had great petside manner. Valley Veterinary Services was very understanding when we thought our dog had gotten into some poison. They didn't go overboard with doing unnecessary tests but made sure that Gunner was given the attention that he needed. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Thankfully Gunner is OK and is back to being his curious little self! I would highly recommend Valley Veterinary to anyone!

Valley Veterinary Associates is a great place to take your pet. They are great with my dog, Jack. They are calm and caring when taking care of him for anything from a routine visit or for a procedure. Their prices are also very reasonable and they will offer advice but not push anything that you don’t want. I have gone to them for years and would definitely recommend them.

We have taken my cat there for an emergency in the past, and had to take my mom's dog there for an emergency visit today. Both times, we were highly satisfied. I feel like the doctor we saw there was more caring and informative than our regular vet. If we lived closer, I would absolutely switch vets. Dr. Brigman was wonderful with my mom's senior dog. Showed us all of her test results, and explained everything to us.

We are clients from here on. They were the only ones we could find on a Saturday that would see non-patients. The entire staff was extremely compassionate when we found out we had to help our Finn move on. Received a sympathy card from them today, signed by everyone as well as a note stating they made a donation to 1 of 2 organizations in his name. Thank you all so much for understanding our pets are our family.

We've seen just about every vet there with our Huskies health issues. His hip was dislocated due to a neighbor's dog, and we had to rush him in for x-rays and to check on him. With bruising on his lungs and throat. The vets took great care of him and offered us multiple solutions and options so we could decide what we were able to afford. But the specific vet we worked with initially we felt was lack luster in explaining things and poor bedside manner.We also found out after taking hours off of work and gas to drive back and forth every other day for a few weeks, that the expensive special healing treatment we were getting for him they had been doing on his knee and not the hip that had surgery. They refunded the treatment cost and made it right. But unfortunately that can't get back the costs and missed hours of work, nor the benefit of him having the treatment actually.We've had issues with reaching out with questions multiple times over a few months and just getting the run around every time we spoke with someone. There are a couple of employees/vets that I love there. But expect mixed service. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Our biggest qualm and we had problems with was their services being so expensive compared to other vets. And it's not justifiable like "oh this is a boutique vet" or something. Our vet kept trying to make us get meds that were going to cost $500ish a month though we explained that about no one can afford that! There was a cheaper alternative, it wasn't the most preferable (but whenever is it). They just wouldn't prescribe it and insisted on the expensive option.I really really want to like them, they're the closest available to us. But, we have had so many problems beyond what I've listed here that I would never return unless I have no other option.

This is one of the best veterinary practices ever! My little dog had to go for emergency care and the entire staff was kind, supportive and compassionate. Shout out to Karen, Randi, and Mary who were super wonderful. Dr. Davis and Dr. Lucanie were both professional and caring and took the time not only to explain the medical issues and resolutions but also the expense of the procedures. Amazing vets, amazing staff and I am very appreciative of them all. Great attention and loving care were given to my little girl. I found out through this traumatic event that there are not enough vet practices who provide emergency care in our area. I hope that changes.

My new rescue kitty and I had such a great experience at Valley Veterinary in late December. Dr Bregman was very thorough and caring while examining my new cat and took the time to explain many things to me. Miranda, the vet's assistant, was marvelous with my kitty, trimming her nails and helping me clean her up. Much appreciated! And, Jessica, Sarah and Alycia, at the front desk are all so nice and helpful. Alycia had walked me through what could have been an emergency when I first got my kitty, a few weeks earlier, and followed up with great advice from one of the doctors. Life saving advice! Thank you, Valley Veterinary! See you again soon!! **1/27 Update: My cat and I had another great visit. Dr. Bregman was once again wonderful with my kitty and very thorough and compassionate. The technician Randy was very sweet and caring, as was Jordan at the front desk. Such consistently nice experiences here. Thank you for taking such good care of my cat! We'll be back!!

Rude staff. Dr Davis is the only vet who is worth seeing. They make prescriptions a nightmare and make you use their system. Oh and they don’t do 24/7 care anymore. We’ll be moving to someplace better. After $1000 given to them in different vet care you’d think they would be actually courteous to their paying customers.

A very friendly and caring place to bring your fur baby. Clean and comfortable too. They explain alot more things to you then our regular veterinary did and take time with your pet. The prices are way more cheaper too. I will most definitely be taking our family member pet to them next time !

We had to say goodbye to our beautiful Mirage this week. She was 14, had inoperative cancer in her mouth and finally had a stroke. We live in Canada and were visiting family an hour away. The Vet and staff treated Mirage and us with compassion, understanding and dignity during our very difficulty moment. The Vet was clear and made objective assessment. All dog lovers know how hard this inevitable experience is. All we could ever hope for was to be treated the way we were at this clinic at a very vulnerable time for us.

Valley Veterinary Associates is a phenomenal practice. My animals and myself are so fortunate to have their resources. Dr. Davis is my absolute favorite veterinarian of all time. I have a myriad of animals and have been a patient to several veterinary practices. VVA far supersedes them all. My animals have also been patients to Dr. Hamblin and Dr. Lucanie and have absolutely no complaints. Such wonderful care all around. The staff are very educated and compassionate. All my animals will continue to be patients there and I trust no one else. Anytime I can, I recommend VVA and will continue to do so.Thank you VVA for being reliable and generous with your time and knowledge. We had an emergency visit, we were seen in a timely manner and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. The techs and the vet were all very sweet and understanding of my worry. After a round of fever meds, antibiotics, and a perfect lab result, she is finally on the mend after giving her wet food, syringing water into her mouth, and encouraging her to eat per the vets suggestion. Thank y’all for helping me with a very important fur family member!

Called at midnight due to my dog coughing and breathing heavily. When vet returned my call I apologized for waking her up and her response was “this better be an emergency”. And then she wanted to argue with me about saying it when I called her out. Stated I could drive to Albany if I needed to be seen tonight.
