Ordered a few foot long subs and they were not only one of the best I've eaten in a very long time, but also they were also the most generous when it came to the portions of meat, cheese, and whatever else u asked to have on it. They were made fresh while we stood there for minutes, which, judging by the line in front of their deli, wasn't a long wait time whatsoever. The price, in my opinion, was absolutely amazing and was definitely well worth it. I would recommend Shaheen's to anyone who not only wants an amazing and very filling lunch but also needs to get any shopping done as well. Can't wait to work in Tupper Lake again so I can once again enjoy their food. I will also mention that the staff we encountered were all very helpful and polite. Great place and great staff!! Keep up the good work.

This store is kept up nicely, everything is neat and tidy. Great employees, curtious and interactive with their customers. Manager is easy to speak with as well.

This local market has an incredible selection of groceries and other products. What more could you ask for? Yes, there is a fresh deli counter too 😀 Whether you need a few items or you've got a longer list of must haves, this store has what you're looking for. Nice and friendly people add to your visit... as a bonus. Recently brought some friends into the store and they were impressed with the variety and amount of products. Needed some last minutes items... and sure enough, Shaheen's had them all 😀 Thank you for being our local grocery store and having a wonderful, friendly staff.

Great for picking up a few items, sort of limited selection but I did find most of what I was looking for. The young man bagging my groceries even carried them out to the car for me which was super helpful!

Everytime I go here the deli always seems to be closed early. They also claim to have local fresh made hummus but they are always out of it. The prices are also 3-4 times higher than Save-A-Lot. For example a box of generic saltine crackers costs $4.30 here, at Save-A-Lot it costs $1.50. Sometimes you can find them at a dollar store for $1.The only reason I go there is for the deli and hummus, if they don’t have that then it’s not worth going there due to the high prices. Go to Save-A-Lot or the Aldi in Saranac Lake instead.

Great deli. Love the freshly made hummus. It sells so fast! Hope they begin creating baba ganoush from roasted eggplants to accompany the hummus.

This is a great place for a well balanced diet. There is a deli with a variety of cold cuts for a sub to go. The store is well organized and packed with at least a handful of brands for every food item you could think of.

I love this store. For a small town grocery store, it has an amazing selection. I always find what I'm looking for. The prices are good and the staff is friendly and helpful. And the deli has the best chicken salad I've ever had.

Great meats, uber fine selection of ales, Decent prices and has everything one needs!Awesome market. Would have delivered a solid 5 star, but pricing isn't very visible. Basically, if you want or need, pay at the register. Bottom line prices are very fair - meat quality is excellent and fresh!

A fantastic place to shop. Produce is always fresh and the meat is always phenomenal! Can’t forget to mention the famous Shaheens Sandwiches! One sub can get you 2 meals, best sandwiches in the North Country.

Great Deli, great meat, superb selection of beers, better selection of all food items than anything else in Tupper Lake, but at a higher price than "Save a Lot". We shop at both stores to meet our needs, 6 months a year.

Nice little grocery store with full service deli meats and cheeses, even imports, and even pastrami. We asked for gluten free bread and sure enough even that was in a freezer case, two different brands. Not even in the big supermarkets would I expect that. And really friendly people throughout the store.

I have been going here for years, great food and service- but no more since my last visit. Most of deli staff were wearing their masks on their chins rather than following NYS Corona Virus guidelines. I’d rather spend my dollars on businesses that are part of the pandemic solution rather than supporting a business that doesn’t follow basic HLTH and safety guidelines.

I am a summer resident. When not in the Adirondacks, I can shop at several large grocery chains. These large stores have nothing on Shaheen's. Shaheens have a little of everything. The deli and butcher are exceptional. Wait!! Shaheens has something way better that the grocery giants. They have absolutely the most polite knowledgeable staff anywhere!

The only true grocery store in this small tourist town, they stock a good variety of products: produce, canned goods, snacks, staples, beverages, meats, ice, and firewood. As you might expect, selection is a bit thinner and prices a bit higher than in your home town, but all in all, this is your go-to supplier if you're camping in the area. I particularly enjoyed this nod to my working class roots: no "Pasta" here...they have a "Noodles" aisle. 🙂

I always loved going here with my grandfather. They have the best Italian sub I have ever had. I always had to buy 4 of them to take home with me. I will miss this place since grandfather passed.

Its small, its old-school and thats what makes it amazing. They will have everything you need in here and more, you get less of a selection in most walmarts then this little place has, staff is awesome and prices are good

Rude customer service at the deli counter.when it gets busy they dislike the customers. They do not as much as have manors. Other then the girls at the deli counter being rude!The store had a wide variety of item's to choose from and everything is fresh.
