I really like this place it’s super country and kitschy! The pancake batter has a phenomenal taste!!! Lunch sandwich was great with a horseradish spice loved that and chips and salsa . Really loved the coffee cups that were branded with the name of the restaurant so cute! The staff was very friendly clean restaurant and the store has great prices! Parking is either parallel street parking or you have to go up and down the stairs from the parking lots that are behind the restaurants on the main road.4 stars because my stars and stripe pancakes would have been amazing if they had a better ratio of the cooked fruit inside the batter ... it was just wayyy too much fruit in the batter where I couldn’t taste pankcakes and I got to taste my husbands apple pancakes and no fruit was inside of his and it was the best I’ve had. I love fruit in the batter, but this was just so much it was a bummer, I’m soooo happy it was all fresh fruit though. My husbands apple pancakes were the opposite with the apples not being cooked and just set on top wasn’t mine or his favorite way of having apple pancakes, so idk maybe preference ...but definitely I had too much inside mine. Another picky thing is that the whipped cream seemed flat and it’s really not hard to make from scratch or buy a new container lol. Lastly the bananas were overly ripe so they had that mushy taste.We would go back overall it was a great place.

I went here with my 3 yr old daughter while my husband was skiing with my two older kids. Super cute little country store with gifts for all ages, great little toy section with good old fashioned games, toys and gifts for kids from babyhood through pre-teen. Also have a gift section for women and men of all ages (but i did not include photos of that section). Great coffee, bakery section, and mini restaurant with breakfast and lunch items. Very attentive and friendly staff. We will be back!

Great breakfast spot just minutes from Hunter Mountain!Went here for breakfast around 1130am on a Sunday and our group of 4 was seated almost immediately. I highly recommend getting the Espresso Milkshake with Coffee ice cream; it is a great way to start the day!I ordered the bacon burger for my meal. The burger meat itself was very good but was unfortunately lacking in the bacon and served in a very thick roll. The description had "lots of bacon" but when the burger came, it only had a disappointing 2 pieces. I would recommend getting pancakes or one of the wraps next time.

This place was a wonderful find! Exactly what we were looking for during our vacation. This is definitely a country store and restaurant. I always find places like this charming. The food was great! I highly suggest the smoked trout. The pancakes were awesome too! The staff was very helpful and friendly. There are tons of things to get at the store too. I love the mango butter and fig preserve. I super duper recommend this place. Plus the town is so charming!

I hardly ever write a bad review, but the service and treatment we had for breakfast here pushed me to send this feedback.The store itself has a nice rustic feel and the food was pretty good (although the orders did come out wrong, with cold homefries, no big deal). Coffee was good too.The service was atrocious. Like so bad the group of 8 almost got up and left. The waitress was beyond rude and nasty. We were put in a corner at a table that had 6 chairs before we arrived, without enough room on the table for each of our plates. There was only one other table of two eating at the time, so we asked if we could be seated at a different table with more room.The waitress stared at us blankly before saying she saw no problem with the small table we were being sat at, so she would not do that.When we asked about sides when ordering, she groaned before telling us the options like we were bothering her.When meals came out wrong, which happens, she first tried to argue we ordered the meals before taking them back, again like we were a bother.After the food came, our waitress never returned to refill the water or provide more coffee. We had to get up and wait by the coffee counter for someone to help, and eventually let us pay.

Great breakfast spot! Had the pancakes which were light and fluffy, husband had the eggs Benny which had a homemade sauce that was light and creamy. Also loved the thick crispy bacon and the coffee mugs were awesome. Service was great, nice and friendly. Went shopping after they have a huge selection perfect to grab gifts for everyone in the fam! A must try if your in the area.

Cute country store but the coffee was very weak, Banana Pancakes good but the home fries had no flavor to them at all. We could not eat them. The waitress seem like she did not want to be there, not very friendly. And the lady at the checkout counter did not seem very friendly either.

On vacation in this area around Tannersville and Hunter Mountain. Have been up here a few times. Stopped in town at the Catskill Mountain Country Store looking for breakfast. Wow! We got more than what we expected! The waitress was very sweet. Our food was delicious beyond our expectations. I got an cheddar cheese, mushroom tomato, omelette with Rye Pumpernickel swirl bread, Jam sweet potato home fries,. My boyfriend got banana French toast. Probably the best banana French toast I've ever tasted! Fresh-squeezed juice and delicious sausage patties cooked to perfection. Just a really nice, delicious meal. Prices were reasonable. Less so than other places in town. Made our day! Would definitely recommend .

Same menu as their restaurant in Windham NY but their specials r different..we had breakfast and it was excellent! Bought baked goods as well. Best chocolate brownie ever and my partner loves their banana bread!

Delicious Food at a great price. We came for a meal after a hike at Kaaterskils Falls and it hit the spot. Service was fast and the country store was fun. We picked up some home made fudge on the way out. Would come back for sure next time we're in town.

Love this place! The eggs are organic free range, they serve local, real maple syrup... Etc. The ambience is cozy and homey, the staff are friendly. Cute store attached as well.

I look forward on my annual trip to Catskills to stop & have a wonderful meal in such an adorable country atmosphere, Had been so excited to eat here, bragged to friends how great this place is... food has always been amazing (service has always has been a bit slow, atmosphere for leisurely chatting with friends while you wait in such an adorable place)...sadly, this year was less than par, just okay even, I ordered pancakes, raw in middle, orders of friends wrong, byt we chalked it to bad day. So we tried again, next day , seated reasonably, ordered, and then we waited 45+ minutes for food, others after us as well , understaffed, possibly, kitchenhelp lacking, possibly, however food was not amazing, service horrible, ordered water never brought, no apologies for keeping us waiting not offered, jams not offered, coffees not refilled, orders wrong. Shared experience with manager, she was like "I'll tell them", attitude. Annnd for that matter tip was added to bill seeing how we were 5 people Service business should have more care for excellence than this. I don't think we'll try again, error is one thing....attitude is a completely different matter. My traveling company said it was the worst place ever. Mystery shopping is my thing... from a ☆☆☆☆☆ experience I now give them a ☆☆☆ atmosphere, cleanliness & price still appropriate.

Very long wait for lukewarm watery coffee. Shop is very cute but set up is very disorganized. One person for both food and coffee. Then you go to another line to pay. And for a $5 latte I expected more. Cute store but don't go for the coffee

I love this place. The food and the service is excellent! I highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Terrific menu. Great shopping too. It's a 2 hour drive but we will be happy to come back.

Limited staff. Took about 45 minutes for waitress to show up and would take only our drink order. She wasn't ready to take our brunch order yet! Coffee and tea in to go cups cause cIean Mugs ran out. 1.5 hrs after being seated we got to place our food order...

The perfect find. Beautiful day. Sat on the porch. The Emily salad is delicious! The people working are very pleasant. Stopped in for lunch, left with hot cider and home made fudge; Going back this morning for coffee!

Entire place is a chaos!! Inside the place, you won’t be able to figure out where to stand for what line. The cashier is yelling over your head asking another server to get another server, only to have her leave the customer and dash to the back… that’s just ridiculous!! When I was ready to pay, cashier left the register, left me standing there with 2 cups of coffee. When she finally came back, she brought another guy in front of the waiting line and took care of him first. Of all the places being understaffed, this is the place that makes you feel least welcome.

Worst breakfast experience in a long time, home fries are raw and chef doesn't know the reason why, how about you cook them next time. No toast or coffee until my meal was already over, absolutely disappointing for a cute looking place.

Not bad. I bought a mug from here. They lady sold me a mug, I had when I was drinking coffee in their deli, thought I would get discount for used ones but didn’t. Nevertheless I loved the cat skills mug.

Food is really good. Best Belgian waffles ever! Burgers are hand pressed and not processed patties. Stay away from the raspberry-vinaigrette dressing.

You must eat Breakfast here ! The banana pecan French Toast is to die for. Dont miss out on Lunch too, make sure you bring your appetite. This food is absolutely fresh and flavorable !

Food is good service is a little slower but it comes with the atmosphere. Very laid back and the food is worth the wait . Also they have samples of there James, mustards ect. Great fudge as well.

Worst service I have ever experienced, very rude waitress waited 5minutes to get given a table whilst many table were free, looked very hangry when I suggested If I could just pick a table myself, is it because I look African ? Any way plenty of other places around look around !
