I cannot express how helpful Plush spa has been to our family. We got a doodle and oh boy we sure didn’t know what we were getting into.We had taken our pup every grooming shop in Syracuse area, but was always disappointing. I figured I give Plush spa a try. I am so grateful for this decision. Not only did my pup look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! He smelled good he look like a freaking teddy bear! They nails cut was done well. My only regret is not come to plush spa sooner.After the groom I asked for advice on how to maintain my dogs coat, and they came out with brush and comb, demonstrated the correct way to brush. No other grooming shop has ever taken the time to show me , they were always busy. You can tell this people love their job. I knew I had found myGroomer for life thank youPlush spa !

I'd like to start by saying, the staff has historically been very friendly. Particularly the receptionists. I moved here about a 1.5 years ago and I found plush spa. I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, a long-haired dog that requires substantial grooming. The first 5-6 times I had grooming done here were great. The groomer would always come out and talk to me, and go over the plans for cutting my pup's hair.The last 4 times I've gone to Plush, I've been let down. There's been some staff turnover and that likely has something to do with it. Last week was my last visit. The groomer refused to come have a chat with me -- I would've waited, but I'm sure she was busy and I'm no Karen-- so instead I played this weird game of telephone through the door via the receptionist. I asked that they cut my pup's hair as short as they could while keeping his undercoat safe -- I think I said "Please, please, please don't be afraid to cut it, he spends a lot of time outside." Two hours later, he had a light trim. My partner and friend didn't even notice that his hair was cut. At 100 dollars a groom, I don't mind paying for quality work, but I perceived the grooming as them not wanting to spend the time.If you have a short-haired dog or are just looking for a quick shave, this will be a good option. But if you're looking for someone to take the time on grooming, may not be the right choice.

Absolutely love Plush Spa! They always seem to go the extra mile showing both my dog's love and patience. It's always a positive experience when we bring our dogs in. Their pricing is fair, their work is tremendous and most importantly, I feel my dogs are in safe hands. Thank you Julianna and team for loving Honey and Bear just like we do!

We love Plush! Staff is always friendly. They’ve been very accommodating in terms of one of our more ornery dogs who doesn’t like to be groomed and they always dote on our little harem of goblins.I once thought one of the pups had a tick and called plush. They said I could bring him in asap and even stayed a few minutes past closing so I could make it there & offered to remove it with no charge. It wasn’t a tick, but regardless, you can tell how much they love pets. This is the best place around ❤️

Juliana and her crew (shout out to Karley) are through, friendly, patient, kind and punctual. The only place I take my dog when I'm not the one doing the care. Best in CNY by far.

If i could rate 0 stars i would. I took my dog here for the first time about a week ago. They charged me double of what i usually pay. It was $80 for a 20 pound dog for a hair cut, nails cut, and a bath. i asked if they could cut his hair as short as they could i just didn’t want him completely shaved. He definitely smelled good when i picked him up but that was the only difference i could see. his hair looked a little more even and i could tell some was taken off of his stomach but other than that it didn’t look like they took any hair off at all. i told them he really needed around his neck cut and they didn’t even touch his neck. they didn’t cut one of his nails which caused his paw to get an infection. if you want to get overcharged for basically just a bath you could give your dog at home then i definitely recommend this place.

I took my 6 month old Sheltie, Bandit for his first groom today. They were very friendly and did a nice job. It's very clean and open in there. My previous dog groomer, who I had for years, has retired, so this was a new experience for me. I was very pleased, and scheduled his next appointment. I'm a hairstylist in Nedrow, and will definitely refer my pet parent clients to them.

I just put my nose into my freshly groomed dog and she’s ever so slightly scented and very silky. Her nails look great and the groomer treated her feet with paw wax at my request. Their new reservation and payment system is great and everyone is always friendly and pleasant. Truly a great local business and highly recommended.

Maddie was wonderful with my nervous Pomeranian mix rescue. I communicated that my dog was going to be shy and might be scared of getting her paws touched and Maddie was able to handle her with no problem. My dog smells amazing, her nails look great and her haircut is just as I imagined. Plus, the price is competitive to places like PetSmart and Petco for a way better experience. We will absolutely be back!

Like a lot of dogs, my Pomeranian never was excited to go to the groomers until we met Abby from Plush spa. I love the way she shapes his hair, trims back the hair on his paws and leaves his tail all fluffy! Since we’ve been going there, he hasn’t had any more dreadlocks and I can comb his hair easily to keep up with the maintenance. This spa for dogs is very accommodating to my schedule and to my animal friend. He comes home smelling fresh and looking brand new. I wish they offered more… like doggie play dates. It is slightly more expensive than other places I’ve taken my Pom but he does not give me a hard time about going to this place.

Finding a groomer for a cat is not easy but Plush Spa has hired a perfect groomer in Gabby. Our Princess is a long haired cat who gets a lot of mats. She has been called "feisty" and worse by other groomers. Even our vet says she needs to be on anxiety medicine. However Gabby was able to bathe her, de-mat her, and clip her nails. And best of all? She said Princess was very well behaved. Thank-you Gabby for taking such good care of our girl.

madison and her coworkers were so polite and gentle with my 50 pound hound who was afraid of his own shadow today. they scooted him right in comfortably and assured him while they trimmed his nails and he came out happier than ever. third visit and they always get us right in and always a pleasure.

My pup has always been afraid of the groomer, never wanting to go in, and always running straight to me, trying to pull me out of the building as soon as the appointment was over. When I brought him in to Plush Spa, it was no different. But when I picked him up, he was like a completely new dog!! He had warmed up to the groomers and was honestly paying me no mind at all 😂 made me want to cry because we have been trying for so long to find the right groomer.They clearly care about the pups and know how to treat them. 10/10 would recommendHis face says it all

Did a great job de-matting my puppy whose previous owner neglected him. Took about 3/4 hours. However, they left a long ponytail that kept bothering him so my fiancé trimmed it down a bit but the hair still bothers him. Think the whole tail could’ve been left alone or all shaven off. The staff was kind!

I brought my Havanese Tanner in for his introductory grooming session back in November as a 4mo. old puppy and then back @5 mo. for his first full grooming appt. yesterday. He never hesitated as we walked thru the door , and came home looking beautiful. I am so very pleased with the pre groom info session given to ease my worries and then seeing the fantastic job done by Alanna. He looks so very handsome for all his upcoming holiday pics & posts .Thank you to the staff at Plush🐾

Plush Spa is extremely accommodating and courteous! Today I showed up with my pup thinking her appointment was today. It was not! It is not until tomorrow! MY Mistake but they took her anyway. This is not our first visit. We have been coming for months. Everyone we have had with our girl Indie has been so kind, and goes above and beyond to make sure indie is looking and smelling her best. All while still catering to her individual needs! I could not recommend them enough!

It’s a real spa for dogs and they give your pet top notch spa treatment. Calm clean environment. I love that you can see what’s going on, most groomers take your dog to the back and u can’t see what they do. Tiki Boo (Toy Pug) usually needs Gabapentin before appointments for anxiety but has not needed it since going to Plush Spa. She loves the staff!! They make sure all her wrinkles and creases are thoroughly cleaned, nails are properly cut down without bleeding. Her coat is shining and she smells amazing.Tiki is a 13 yr old pug, I like her to be really clean and well groomed all the time so I take her at least 1x month. BEST GROOMER I have ever experienced!!!!!!! 💯🤩♥️♥️#5Stars

We called and set up our first appointment for our 18lb Pomsky. Our dog normally needs mild anxiety medicine when she gets groomed, we told the groomer the same. They told us to not give her anything before and that they "wanted to get to know her" first. Fine, no big deal and I get that logic.Turns out our dog struggled and ended up getting "bite"y with the groomer, when I picked her up, I got saddled with a hidden "special handling fee" because of her behavior. We literally told them this would happen and that she needed to be medicated ahead of time. I dont know if that fee was hidden in the small text on the intake paperwork but it certainly wasn't vocalized until the end when it was time to pay. Felt like they pulled a fast one. Ended up costing 120 bucks for what ended up being a shampoo and nail trim for an 18lb dog.UPDATE: Juliana (owner) reached out and she said not being told during the grooming that our dog was being challenging wasnt acceptable and that we should have been notified before we arrived to pick up our dog that we would be charged so we could have the option to just come pick her up.She is giving us a fuil refund. So while we won't be returning, management was super understanding and empathetic, for that I've raised my review from 1 to 4 stars.

We found Juliana during covid and she was fantastic! We knew we found our groomer for life! Her and Ellie had an immediate love affair 💖We ended up having to move 45 minutes north but still bring Ellie down for her grooming every six weeks. They are so worth the trip and more! Thanks for keeping our Muppet pretty!!
