I called to find out when my script would be available specifically so I wouldn't have to sit and wait, and gave them double the amount of time they said they'd need, and I was STILL asked to wait for 20 minutes for them to fill it. Never getting anything sent to the Butternut street kinneys again.

I was visiting from out-of-town and had a script called into Kinney. I called the next day to see if the script was ready, and cycled through their phone system 5 times without anyone picking up. I drove there to find that there were 6 staff in the pharmacy... apparently none of them could have picked up my phone call. Despite this staffing, my script hadn't yet been filled out and I was instructed to wait. I was told that it would be ready in just a few minutes and that I'd be called up when it was ready... neither occurred. I arrived at 1:55 and had to wait until 2:55. During that time I heard several calls ring without being answered. Then, as I was checking out, the credit card system went down and I had to pay in cash.I can't recall a worse experience with a pharmacy. I will certainly never do business with Kinney again.

This place is full of inept people who cannot seem to do their job properly. I came in to pick up three prescriptions and was handed a bag with my information on it. I asked if that was all of my prescriptions and was told yes. I had gotten a ride from a family member to get there as I had no other form of transportation. I get home and one of my prescriptions is missing. I have no way to get back to the pharmacy and they tell me they can deliver it on Monday, btw, it's Friday. I needed it today because I was low and would run out over the weekend which is why I tried to pick it up today. This simply cannot happen. If I don't have my medication I could get very sick or even die. They don't care or even listen properly to their customers. Now I have to try to find someone else who can help me pick up my prescription, which is so annoying as I should have had it already. I will be changing my prescriptions to another pharmacy as soon as I can. This isn't the first problem or even the third I have had with this location. I suggest that anyone who really needs their prescriptions to try anyplace else. Don't depend on them telling you the truth, they lie all the time about what they say they will do. For example, I was promised a prescription would be delivered on Friday and it didn't come. When I was finally able to get someone on the phone to discuss the situation, after about 3 hours on hold, I was told it was never put on the list for delivery. Do not use this pharmacy!!!

I've been going to this pharmacy for about 5 or 6 years. I have never really been treated rudely, they hardly ever answer the phone. I get it though they are busy or probably on the other line. It would be rude to put some one on hold to answer for another customer. A couple of the people even know me by name. These people are very busy and are stressed out just like the rest of us. I think they hide it we'll.

Pharmacy is AMAZING when i moved here i was unsure but i absolutely trust them im from govenour family related from original owners. The store needs better management tho and hygiene teaching to employees and learning to clean the store better

Ghetto, unprofessional, and rude. They treat people based off stereotypes of the conditions employees/pharmacists assume customers have and the medication they’re receiving. It’s disgusting!Employees have no couth, consideration or understanding of confidentiality. That goes for pharmacy staff and delivery staff. I’ve never felt so disrespected and embarrassed after being made a spectacle by the people who are supposed to help us.I know health care is screwed up in America, but I didn’t know it extended this far.

I went into this store seeking cash from an ATM. No such luck. I felt as though the staff was updating their resumes the entire time I was in there. There was some type of shelving set up to block off part of the store. I think the average of 3.4 is too high.

avoid this dump at all times.the staff in the pharmacy can hardly speak English. they have 1 pharmacist working and use 5 technicians to try to work the counter. They all are ignorant and no nothing about prescriptions. They merely went to BOCES and took a 6 week course they are rude combative and argue with people. I had my prescriptions transferred ,therefore I wont have to be verbaly assaulted by ignorant people.

I love these place and all the people that works there they have been open for a believe almost a year or maybe two I'm not really sure but this is by far the best Kinney Drugs in the City of Syracuse. Everyone is always do walcoming and greets you with a warm smile the staff there really make my day it's only because I almost know everyone that work there by name I go there and it feels a bit like home... My go to place. #lovekinneysdrugs
