Never returning here. Inside and outside of the store litterly look like an apocalypse after the riots. Inside No organization, Why are ice packs and dog treats on the same shelf? Uniform, what's that? Its easier when the customers don't ask questions because they think you are shopping. It's just mass confusion, aisle are destroyed and the worker is worried about stocking more toilet paper, an entrie aisle full of toilet paper but yet they needed more.The outside 🙄, it's trashed, the bushes just need to be loaded into a dumpster they are so full of trash. I understand it's an inner city store, but look around, burger King doesn't lookLike this, riteaid doesn't look like this, even to corner store is in better shape. If this store has a store manager they are severely stacking. When this was riteaid it never looked like this.

I called to make sure the product was there before making the drive. the lady was nice I even waited for her to finish with the register before looking for the product with no issue at all .she says yes they have it 7:07 I get there around 7:15; no product I ask her hey you said you had it did someone buy it that quick she says she doesn’t know what I’m talking about she just got here so yeah her kids were rude yes her kids were there and I made the drive for no reason

I've been shopping at the Dollar General sense it has been on Butternut Street but I have never been so disrespected in my life.. got some real ignorant winners working there.. I never stole a day in my life, I'm am a manager where I am employed and to be so rudely attacked n threatened by a wanna be security guard and employee has me so disgusted and mad. It's all good though definitely won't be buying anything from any dollar general all thanks to the dirtiest store on the north side.

I've been a customer at this location for over 2 years. I have sent you a review of your employees last year because the personal service that your employees give your customers is exceptional. I, and I've seen others, am treated with professionalism and courtesy by them.Today, a couple of your employees went above and beyond in their treatment of me after I was rude to them!Their names are Billy and Alisha.I'm elderly and the credit card I bought today did not work for me. Even though I definitely know the integrity of your employees, I had a bad feeling that one of them had cheated me with the credit card I bought. I showed up back at the store in a New York minute accusing, not to them directly, but with a look of suspicion.Billy looked at the card and showed me where I'd made the mistake...I didn't type ALL of the numbers of the card!!!Of course I profusely apologized then left. I'm hoping they laugh at me for the rest of their work day because I deserve it!!! Or work week!!!Thank you very much for giving my neighborhood two professional and courteous employees!!

One of my favorite stores. Could be more organized and cleaned up but for the most part it's a nice place with reasonable prices! Depending on the cashier you will enjoy your check out. If you get the grouchy woman who acts like she has an attitude problem all the time you won't so much! The stock men are always prompt to help you and always try to make you laugh. Will make your day for sure.

I love Dollar General and the employees that work there. They are so nice and their customer service is great. The sales at the Dollar General are amazing! Sometimes i go in the Dollar General to get one thing and always come out with 5 or more products. Keep up the great work Dollar General me and my little family love you all .

My brother was racially distrimigated against by cashier working at dollar general store on butternut street in Syracuse NY the cashier racially distrimigated against my brother over a store cart that he didn't bring out side and a person inside the store who was also black blocked my brother from being able too leave the store I think corporate dollar general store should fire this employee for her demeaning and disrespectful behavior I think my brother deserve s an letter of apology for what he had too go through at this store.racially discrimination should never be tolerated you should never be discrimated against because the color of your skin.

This is a great place to shop prices are amazingly cheap and there's a lot of items at the Dollar General that are not at the other dollar stores. Family Dollar has hey excellent price on milk and cereal candy cookies and bread. I know shopping all the time food and snack items.

The price there are good, but one of the employee had a bad attitude. He kicked out my son from the store for no reason because my son was holding two cat toys. He said that my son was going to steal it and he also said my son is not allowed back in there again. I was there with My son when he was just reading the info about the toy on the back. The employee embarrassed me in front of many people. I will never ever go back there again as long as he is still working there.

There is an assistant manager at this location curly hair po k highlights like a teen but she's 50 and loves telling customers things they don't wanna hear her attitude is Terrible and should be fired. She tries to li.it what a person. Can buy just give a hard time

Employees are attentive and very helpful towards customers. Store is kinda dirty as far as floor and dust but I don't have high expectations walking into any Dollar General so not a bad place over all.

The store has your basic food and home needs. You can find some extra toys and party supplies too. The store can be messy at times so I recommend just getting in and out quickly. Convenient location for local foot traffic and that's about it.

The very nice me people gave me walking directions to a gas station, but unfortunately did not have plastic gas cans to sell me after I rolled into their parking lot with a car apparently out of gas( actually it was the alternator)

The staff is excellent but the people walking through the parking lot make you feel less than welcome. All the neighbors and patrons were wonderdul. I was there doing contractor work but as i said abt others passing through. They stare you down and said some nasty things. I am not a provoker but I also stand my ground and defend myself.

Love dollar general stores! I love the app they have, the digital coupons, and you can ALWAYS find a deal at DG! I have heard of NCI stores online and I guess they sell more home goods at those stores, I have never been to any of them, but I hope to find one in my area sometime soon, I love the stuff they sell for the home...my Shower Curtain is from there, I have had it 4 years and I am STILL using it! For great deals you can get really decent merchandise!

They NEVER have more than ONE REGISTER operational...& yes, everyone should appreciate quality customer service, BUUUUUUT dang! The line is 3 ways to not close enough & the cashier won't stop talking. You're not getting tipped for this! To top it off, I CANNOT MAKE THIS UP, they ran out of bags and were using small white trash bags. AND, NOT the ones WITH HANDLES! The cashiers were even embarrassed.

terrible customer service. long slow lines. dirty dirty dirty store. i come here once in a while to get abused by the employees and customers. i get it we are a sanctuary city lots of immigrants here that speak no engish but your employees are american whats there excuse. i was told by one employee that i was a product of this environment HUH!!!!! terribe stire stay away go to the one in eastwood its alot better.

this is the worst store ive ever been to. Clueless employees. customers smoking blunts in the store and no one telling them to put it out. Customers leaving the check out line while in the process of being checked out to do more shopping while theres 5 people in line. I like dollar general but they should definally close this store. if i could give it less then 1 star i would.

Fairly well maintained. Staff is courteous and helpful. It's located in a bad neighborhood, shoplifting, loitering, and panhandling have occurred while I shopped there but the store seems well prepared.

Bought 4 movies from this place none of them work due to rings around the disks then I'm being told my upc code don't match after already saying were not gonna exstange my movies that were already broke before I bought them but they are supposed to be "new" and if that's not enough the lines are horrible

Over all a good place but unfortunately a lot of shop lifting. Manager tries to catch them or ban them when he is able but unfortunately not supported by staff who think he should let them go.

I stopped at Dollar general on the North side of Syracuse. As soon as I walked in the door a guy was standing there on his cellphone, he yelled you only got a few minutes. I was irritated by that, It should have been hello how are you, just wanna let you know we are closing in 15 minutes

Good prices and some of everything you need as far as households goes. I love shopping at doller general it goes great with my budget.
