Love Artic Island! Ice Cream is so good and such a great environment! I was so excited to hear that they also can make treats for your pups! I contacted them about making a little cake for our dog Lunas gotchya day and they made the cutest unicorn cake for her! She loved it!! Will definetly keep coming for summers to come,for family ice cream outings!

don't go inside; there's three cow paintings, it smells very odd, and the floor is permanently sticky. going inside was weird because i had a doctor's appointment at one and we had about forty minutes until i had to be there and when we left we only had six (??). our order didn't take long and the employees were not bad, it kind of just felt like the building itself stole time. honestly they probably keep the stolen time in the cow ashtray thing we found considering how there appears to be a cow shrine (i'm exaggerating, there was a fire place with cows around it).the floor is QUITE sticky. like every part of it. it's impressiveedit: i forgot to mention the issue with the cone. it uh.. collapsed.. ?

I had a hot fudge Brownie Sundayi liked it but next time I'll remember to ask without nuts. other than that it was a nice experience. the new look is kinda like a more modern style design very trendy

Was not to happy with my turtle shell Sunday me and my brother went to visit a couple of days ago we ordered the same thing but got two different Sundays one with pecans and one with other kind of nuts the ice cream was extremely soft and it melted extremely fast very messy.

I’m a huge fan of their cotton candy icecream; it’s the best anywhere. I don’t love their hot fudge, it was basically warm chocolate syrup last time I was there. Their soft serve vanilla is great too.

Looking at this place from the outside, or looking at the menu online, you might be tempted to pass this place by. Don't! It was amazing! I had a hot Asian sandwich and a bowl of tortilla soup, it was fantastic! And the inside has a gas fireplace that keeps it cozy in the winter. Looking forward to eating here again!

Horrible experience! I ordered a fruit and berry twist and the flavors were totally off. The ice cream was already melting when I received it. I asked if I could get something else and they told me no even though I only took one bite out of it. They told me that I would have to pay again if I wanted something different. They have bad customer and weren’t even polite about it. I will never go there again!!!

Went for the Ice Cream. It was a cool day and the home made ice cream was crystalized not good. The young lady did say it was already melting. Maybe they have to fix the temps on the ice cream.

I really needed that ice after walking the Rand Land Tract. I didn't even know it existed! It was a terrific hike and right in the City of Syracuse. Amazing.

Do they no longer make their own ice cream? It was all Perry's on this visit. Nothing against Perry's (the blueberry cheesecake hard ice cream was tasty), but obviously not the same as their own in-house ice cream.

I love the quality this ice cream shop maintains. My favorite part is the dipped waffle cone options and that the hard ice cream has a nice amount of fillings for each flavor you get! The price is very affordable. They switched from homemade to Perry's but that is no lose it is still really good, I was shocked actually. They make those really yummy ice cream cookie sandwiches (I'm always looking for the good ones). Only one block from Gannon's, skip the long wait and packed parking that leads to meh ice cream with very little fillings on a styrofoam cone and GO TO Artic Island! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Also, their indoor Parlor is really fresh and pretty, a great spot to sit and watch the park out the big window and cool off from the humidity.

We purchased one of the ice cream birthday cakes and it was absolutely divine. Manages to be delicious without feeling too rich. I only wish that we had bought two cakes instead of one!

Did not know they went all Ice Cream. Stopped by to grab a lite lunch and a coffee with my partner @Broadway Cafe. It was a nice mix between the two offerings. Also, the rustic look was much cozier. So bummed.

The owner, or who I believe is the owner, she is such a sweet person to the point it makes you think she isn't from Upstate NY. I particularly like this place and have been going for years. They not only sell ice cream but they also sell hot food inside, which shocked me how good but also healthy it was. I gave it a 5 star due to never being disappointed and always greeted with pleasant staff, no matter who is serving

VEGAN Soft Serve!!! Chocolate or Vanilla!! Boo-yah! I'm not Vegan and get their hard ice creams which are top notch....hard-to-beat-flavorful! It's nice to see the new owner has kept the level of quality in their ice creams. Banana Wafer, yum! PB Espresso Oreo, yum! Birthday Cake, yum! ..etc. Good crispy, fresh waffle cones and usually always served with a nice happiness from the employees. I feel for those that think Gannon's is the place for ice cream on the South End and have never been to Arctic...they have no idea what good ice cream tastes like. Sorry, G's but maybe its time to take a lesson from your neighbor creamery.

I love artic island there is never a line. There is another ice cream parlor right next door. 100 people there all the time. For ice cream? For ice cream. I dont get it. But I fo much faster than all them hahaha

This place was really cute and had great wraps- even gluten free wraps! They were a little small for the price, however it might have been what I ordered. I ordered a BLT and that's not a whole lot of stuff. Either way, it was delicious! The staff was really nice!

This is a great place to visit any day. They offer seasonal sundaes and have a large selection of hard ice creams. There is a nice cafe for dine in.The cafe menu is extensive for the size of the place. They also cater events.We went on a busy day and the line moved quickly as they utilized 3 windows for the walk up ice cream service.All together this is a great place for family, friends or even a date.Enjoy!

Cute little shop with quality products. As a vegetarian, I'm pleased with their veggie options - something many delis overlook. Coffee is from a local roaster. The people working here are so pleasant. The ice cream options may be a little limited compared to the nearby Gannon's, but the selection is broad enough to please everyone and the quality is great - with a shorter line!

Ordered a single scoop of the lavender honey ice-cream. 10/10 we also ordered lavender lemonade and it was fantastic. One scoop is actually like 3 so more than fair. I will see about a smaller size for next time but it was great for the price.

This place has been around many years. This was a family treat during the summer when I was a child. I use to get a maple walnut waffle cone growing up. Never strayed from that. I strayed this time. I ordered a chocolate soft serve with chocolate sprinkles and a sugar cone. It was sooooo good. This is very reasonable and tasty ice-cream

Never disappointed with the quality of the ice cream. So many different products as well. Tried soft pistachio and watermelon ice during most recent visit. Several picnic tables, most in the sun. So can be uncomfortable on a hot day. Although there are a couple of large round tables under the canopy and a nice table under the tree out back that provides ample shade.Service was a little slow during visit, but that could possibly be attributed to large parties with complex orders. Staff is very friendly.

Arctic Island is also the Broadway Cafe. They have wonderful subs, but as of now, they are closed for the season for remodeling. I always feel full after eating half the sub, then the rest gets saved for dinner. I live about a mile away from where they are, so it's nice to have a great place to relax sit down and enjoy my meal.

I'm sure I've given a review previously, however, Broadway Cafe never disappoints!I'm in love with their Central Park sandwich. AND the workers are ALL so nice. I love the setting, it's so quaint and unassuming.. a great place to bring family.Sidenote: the ice cream is the best in the city.

My mom and I had an excellent late lunch. Our sandwiches were great; portions of meat, fixings, condiments just right and our soup was hot and had plenty of vegetables and noodles! Staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Nice place to eat.
