We recently moved to the area and discovered this Butcher Shop and Smokehouse. We have tried the bone in pork chops, various bacons, and the ground beef makes the best meatballs we have ever made. We love Wegmans for a lot of other stuff, but Bostrom Farms takes the cake when it comes the highest quantity meat products.

Was looking for a place that was a local butcher when visiting from out of town. I was very happy with the selection in the store. The team they had there was friendly and knowledgeable. Went right and cooked the strip up. It was melt in your mouth. When back in the area I will be stopping by.

So, Bostrom Farms Meat Market,...where to begin. First off, the staff, spot on, very knowledgeable of the different meats and cuts. Second, the taste is amazing, I purchased 4 cases of sausages, 2 pizza supreme and 2 maple Chicken, amazing. You know the food is good when a picky 3 year old wolf's it down and asks for more, awesome. Also purchased a bag of chicken breasts as well from them and the meat itself is amazing. What is unique about this place is that the meat is all local, which is awesome in itself. If you have the time, check this place out, you won't regret it!

Purchased a quarter of a cow. Paid about $1000.00. Everything came frozen and the steaks were cut so large that I had to defrost everything and recut it to a normal portion size and refreeze. Steaks were mostly fat and and didn't have much meat. I asked for stew meat to be put in one pound portions and received two, two pound bags. Because I chose to have most of the meat put into burger I feel that I was not given the amount of meat that I paid for. Every package of burger I've used so far has had small bits of bone in it which tells me that the animal wasn't properly processed. Meat tasted different from one package to the next. Therefore I was given several cows and not given one individual animal. I feel like I was given old stock and not a fresh cow. I am not happy and will never purchase a full animal from here again.

My experience stems from a custom order I made. They advertised a good price on a whole hog. When their manager John took my order he told me it would take a couple weeks, maybe a little longer. At two weeks I was told there were three orders ahead of me. At four weeks I was told I was the only order the next week. At 4 weeks 4 days I got a call to pick up my order. When I got home there was no lard (which I had requested be saved). The next day John made it right by giving me lard from other pigs they had recently butchered. They have good products at fair prices. I can't give full marks, because of their disorganization. I think most of my frustration with the process could have been avoided if they had explained their special order process in more detail upfront. I'm not discouraging folks from doing business with them, just make sure you understand and are okay with the process before handing over a deposit.

I love this place it is a great place to shop. You have to check it out. It also accepts EBT cards. Has all kinds of meat chicken eggs so much stuff check it out. I enjoy going there. Friendly staff. Very polite and helpful.

Superior quality meats. T-bones, ribs, quarter chicken legs, chicken thighs, breakfast links and bulk sausage. Italian patties and links, chirzo, 14 lbs hamburg, chuck roast, lamb steaks, sea bass purchased at fair price. Love this place. Great food. Great people. Great service. Well worth the drive. I have never tasted fresher meat. The meat honestly can't be any fresher from their hamburger to their pork chops, chicken, steak, and ham are top of the line. I also especially enjoy all the products from local businesses. I honestly wish their were more businesses like this that buy local, sell local. One of the greatest part of the store is their in store made sausages and bratwurst with a new variety all the time. Among their vaiets are the normal hot and sweet, nacho cheese, Philly cheesesteak, garlic and onion, buffalo chicken. Anyone reading this needs to stop in and see and try for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Everything is great here. All the cuts of meat are top notch and the folks working here are knowledgeable and friendly.I drive 45 minutes for the sausage when I need to stock up. It's the best I've ever have and they have some really interesting flavors along with the more standard italian sausage. It is consistently the greatest so dont be afraid to try one of the unique kinds. It won't dissapoint.If you havent been, you should go.

Visited on Memorial day weekend to get some items for the grill. They had St Louis style ribs which was a big plus. They also have beef ribs which are very hard to find, real beef ribs, not just short ribs. They also had freshly made chicken sausages.A good meal starts with good meat and this is a great place to get it.

Is good prices on meat especially when buying volume picked up 10 pounds of chicken And 10 pounds of ground Is beef for a party we were having. On the fourth of july. Not a lot of room to move around in a wheelchair so I stayed outside Is while my wife did the shopping. no designated handicap parking

Want to impress the family during the holidays? Stop by Bostrom Farms for the best kept holiday secret in the Finger Lakes area, frozen homemade pies by Flint Hill Bakery! Pop these goodies into your oven for an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes, make sure they are still frozen when they go in the oven, for the best tasting pies in the area! We won't tell if you tell your mother-in-law that you "baked" them! They will be too busy enjoying the pies to question you! While you are at Bostrom's, grab one of their chuck roast or a rib roast to really top off a holiday dinner! Enjoy!
