I'm an avid outdoorsman and hunter. I've been here several times. They have a good selection of products and are probably very knowledgeable about them. The employees were not helpful to me personally and most often ignored me. It felt like I was bothering them by asking them for help or insight.Update 10/6/23: I visited the store again to see if anything would be different. I interacted with a totally different person. He was super professional and helpful. He was able to assist me and do exactly what the previous gentleman said he would not do. It's amazing how different two experiences in the same store can be ... I was pleasantly surprised on this past visit. I hope the improved customer focus continues!!

They have a nice display. Very well stocked for the most part. Looked into trading my pistol. I know everyone has to make a living but they need to throw a little more when it comes to a trade in. Not complain about gun power in the chamber. Nothing seriously wrong with the gun. Then hand me a used gun that is in the same condition as mine. Very sharp looking used revolver and say an old lady owned never hardly used. And try to give Jack for a trade value. The counter employee was very nice very polite. But needs to even out the deals better.

Horrible customer service. I buy nice guns. But maybe I didn't look like I could, I was working during the day. So maybe that was it. Or the two guys there should not be there. I think they are the rudest I have ever seen. It was 20 minutes before closing, and the guns were not going to get shown. So we were looking around, and the lights turn off. So we left. But it was over 5 minutes till closing. Very pathetic.There are good shops, this isn't one.

Compare the number of likes on the bad reviews to the good ones for these guys..... Absurd prices even for a small shop. Gun at other small local shop was $439, here 500. I'd look elsewhere and use this as an absolute last resort. Stock, model.Edit: Sorry B. I brought it up that the gun was 70 dollars cheaper at Cabelas. The owner was uninterested in having a conversation with me at the time and blew me off quite quickly. I certainly will not be coming back to talk about it as I got what I wanted $100 (literally) cheaper at another local shop. Also, I really did not care for the way the owner called you away from our conversation after stiffing me on that price. I could see in your face, you felt it was not right. Props to you for dealing with him. That interaction is what prompted the review more than the gun price.

My wife and I have been going here for many years. I only have one complaint, we can never get out of there without getting more than what we go in for. They always have something I can't live without...lol. out of all my collection we have purchased we have bought here. Always great service and not pushy. Thanks for being here in Springville.

Staff is friendly and knew the answers to all the questions. Prices are reasonable and they have just about everything you might need. Gifts, cleaning kits, holders, allllll the ammo and an inside archery range. Can't forget the cutest pup too!

Great selection and the staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. The day before deer season opened we went to SEVEN stores to get 12g slugs and everywhere was sold out (poor planning on our part i know).S&S had some in stock and saved our weekend.

BEST experience I have had in a store in this categoryWent in for the first time today.Immediately was greeted by very friendly staff and was asked what they could do for me.I had my bow tuned up, which it apparently desperately needed because nothing was set right (lesson learned when buying from big box store)They spent more time than they probably should have helping me. They didn't get frustrated or rush me along at any point of it.I will recommend them to everyone and anyone I know!They have earned a customer for life and that is after just 1 visit.

Went into store today to look at the Matthew’s V3. Saw the one I wanted and was going to buy it. Except not one person said a word to me. Actually had staff walk right by me. Don’t get me wrong I was in the store for a good 15 to 20 minutes. Finally I walked out and a guy was chasing me to say goodbye. I just ignored it and drove off. Hey I get busy but this was 3:15pm on a Thursday. I can spend my $2k elsewhere.

My first time there was when I purchased my bow, I wanted to learn to shoot and hunt. The price couldn't be beat. But it's the service I've received everytime I've walked in since then that sets this place apart from every other store. I got to practice in an amazing indoor range, they helped me sight it in, taught me little tricks that made a huge difference, and ALWAYS made me feel welcome. In less than a year, in my fourth time in the woods, I shot a beautiful buck. And when I brought it there to have it mounted I think they were just as excited as I am!!!You just can't get this type of experience from going to a franchise store! I'll never go anywhere else. These guys are awesome!! My Mathews Monster slipped it's string and I went to shoot my old how but couldn't get it sighted in for nothing! I called them and they said bring them both down. So I did and just when I thought I was in to deep they looked at the Mathews and the guy said my Mathews and the string was fine and he put it all back together for me for nothing!! I cant thank them enough and they have gained a life long customer!!

Hopefully my initial impression will carry on through the future, but I can't see ANY HINT of the bad service some have complained about! The owner and his son attended to me as soon as I walked in, and the store was pretty busy at the time. I'll definitely be a customer for a long time to come.

I went into s and s and never before have a been so shocked at how rude an employee can be to a costumer, then as all the costumers were in the store yells to me you have to be 21 to purchase and ar. Witch we all know is a lie. So I don’t know what it is they don’t want business, or maybe just a complete lack of respect to another human for no reason. I will never shop here again my family’s been goin to s and s forever. But I’m gonna be the one to break that chain. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone. Never have I ever been so rudely signaled out in a store or lied to by a employee. I have 3 guns and all of them were not bought from here.

Went into there today looking to get a bow. A guy named Brian came to help me. He answered all my questions. He found one in my price range then got my bow all set up and even let me use the range to try it out. I'm more than happy. This shows you can't beat a mom and pop shop
