I was recommended to this business by a close friend.I brought my skittish lab puppy inside and was truly amazed at the variety and assistance of every staff member that I encountered.This is NOT a "big box" chain store that couldn't care less about your pets welfare. I have now been there several times and thestaff has always given me accurate and helpful advice. Everyone stocks pet supplies but everyone doesn't stock knowledgeable, courteous and helpful employees.This is a great business and a wonderful visit.

I drive from Queens to shop here because they have a lot of brands and everyone is so pleasant. Prices are the same which is fine, just finding a place that has stock is good enough for me

Extensive amount of dog, cat, bird and animal products and food. Staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Bow Wow grooming located inside. One of the best groomers that I have ever used for my Shelties.

Very nice people, and they actually carry a ton of wellness brand dog food. It's nice to have a variety for my dog who is a diabetic and is limited on what he can have.

We go just for the grooming, we will follow Terry from Bow Wow and her daughter Jackie wherever they go. Pic showing the before and the after. Only other thing we have purchased here is their horse mats for my husbands gym

Absolutely horrible customer service. The lady at the checkout counter Dilli dalige. Wasting time why the while there was at least 7 customers waiting shaking their heads. I will never return to that store I suggest ordering from chewy instead

Awesome pet store carrying everything you could possibly want. Big and clean store with a huge selection of natural foods and major brands. Great pricing and fast service. Good to support the family owned places too.

I would’ve never thought about writing a review, but I’ve been on and off going to Shirley feed and there’s always a woman behind the counter. That is very short and doesn’t seem like she wants to help. Just today I ask about a product and all she kept saying to me and she couldn’t look because she had a lot of people in front of her . I also asked her if she heard if it was a good product and she made a smart remark saying well I didn’t hear that is was bad . After the few times I was upset about the way they treated me I said I wasn’t going back and I still didbut I have to say that I will definitely not go back anymore.

Shirley feed grooming is hands down the best! No one will ever compare to Terry and Jackie! They are kind, gentle and amazing people! They really have an amazing understanding on animal behavior which is so important. My dog has trust issues and loves going to get her monthly cleaning !Couldn't recommend more !!!

They usually have everything I need for my dogs and if they don't, they can order what you need (I'm sure there's limitations). Really friendly staff, the owner always makes sure that the store is fully stocked!

I needed a bail of straw for a feral cat I’m caring for. They were the best price by far and had it ready for pickup. They even fit into my small car as well.I have been buying my bird food and Dog Vitamins from them for well over 8 years.They never disappoint with their helpfulness and the speed of checkout.Love this place for all things Animals !!

Huge selection (in some brands, more than Chewy) at competitive prices. Friendly staff. Minus a star because they were not particularly helpful if you don’t know what you want. If you know what you want, this is a great option.
