1 star is a overstatement Completely unprofessional. She misdiagnosed my cat wich cost him his life. When I called to speak with her she tried to talk over me and brought up her dead son. If you love your babies don't bring them to to her. Quack

We took our two newly adopted adult cats for their first checkup. Since we just moved to Schuylerville this was our first time here, too. The staff and the doc were all wonderful. We didn't feel rushed. The cats were nervous but everyone got along just fine. It's great to have such wonderful caring people to keep our furry friends healthy.

We went in with our 5 year old cat last week due to him not being well. He was not eating drinking sneezing and open mouth coughing.They did the bloodwork iv and xray. Stated they came back clear. We let the medicine try to work but after a week with no relief I called them back did not see the vet and was given oral medicine. The same Night I brought him to Latham emergency vet and they put him on oxygen. They wondered why this wasn't shown in his results from previous doctor. (St fran) I called st fran to try to discuss this and was talked over. Was told my husband was verbally abusive wheb in reality he is stressed and concerned and now has to put his baby down because this woman wouldn't make it right. During the call in her personal phone she kept saying when we would get frustrated that today's not the day and that it's an anniversary of her son's passing. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Never in my life have we been treated this way. Never in my life did I think I'd have to put my baby down due to neglect. This establish is a crock and a scam and they do not care. Gave me some bogus oral medicine when I called without even following up with my cat or seeing him. Then decided it was OK to attack us on the phone. Thanks for nothing. 100s pissed away just to inevitably let my cat go.Also mind you. My cat is an indoor animal. IN DOOR. She kept asking how he got sick. Well my thought is he got worse from entering her establishment because none of my animals are outdoor animalsDon't go here. I'm calling a lawyer and seeing this place

I started with Saint Francis over 10 years ago - Dr. Cripps (and Bill) have treated my beloved chocolate lab and 5 kitties. Dr. Cripps has always been thorough, kind and compassionate. Her office runs like a well oiled machine - we're always so impressed with how smoothly our visits go.My parents also bring their animals to her and have had the same positive experiences.

Over the years, the team at Saint Francis have taken great care of my three cats. Dr. Cripps has discovered and surgically removed bladder stones from my male cat, dug into testing on my 14-year-old calico, and kept all three in general good health. The best part of this practice, in my opinion, is how thoroughly Dr. Cripps explains test results and next steps. Her “bedside manner” is soothing and understanding, yet concise and clear in what you need to do as the pet owner to keep them going strong. I won't bring my fur children anywhere else!

Our dog had a large tumor on her leg. We were told by a different vet there was nothing they could do. The tumor started to hinder our girls walking and we made a call to St. Francis for a second opinion. They got her in fairly quick and did surgery that very day. Our girl is already doing better. The staff was AMAZING and definitely cared about us and our fur baby! 100% would recommend you bring you pet to them!!!

LOVE! The absolute best Veterinary Team. Dr. Cripps is thorough, kind, systematic in her approach to caring for her furry patients. She and her team were part of my dog Macy and my life for twelve years. They were all there for me right to the tough choice to end my girls complicated last days. My dog was stepped on by a horse on New Year's eve and none of the emergency clinics could take her in. when I called Saint Francis Monday morning they took her right in. She needed her toe amputated. They did her surgery right then. During this entire process they were so kind to her and I. Also I didn't need to take out a loan to be able to get her cared for. Sara killed my beautiful Finnish Spitz , her treatment didn't work and she refused to try anything I suggested as an RN I truly believe her medications made my beloved dog worse. This was in June and she guilted me into putting him down. Stating I was making him suffer. I blame myself everyday for bringing him to her. She ruined my life. Not a day has gone by that I haven't cried over my Loki , don't you ever dare forget my dog!!! You didn't know what you were doing and should have just admitted it. I truly hope your Christmas sucked as much as mine did .

After receiving less than quality care for my kitten at another local animal hospital, I began to shop around for a new vet to get a second opinion on my kitten's illness. The doctor at St. Francis gave me free advice over the phone before my kitten was even a patient. After the visit it was discovered that the previous vet had misdiagnosed the cat's illness, and they took my cat's allergies into consideration when prescribing an antibiotic, which his former vet did not do. Very kind, reliable, and professional.

As a stressed out first time pet-owned human who was lucky enough to be adopted by stray cats, it has been such a comfort to be able to have the amazing staff to talk to ... The front desk is so patient and willing to bear with you as you try to convey what's wrong, and the vet is the perfect blend of compassionate yet capable ... Saint Francis VH was recommended to me by more than one of my dog agility friends after I received a shockingly high estimate for a dental for one of my dogs. Dr. Sarah and her staff offer exactly what the big fancy Vets are lacking, personal attention, consistent, competent care and reasonable prices. I have 5 toy dogs, all of whom have now had dentals and other care at this practice, including one elderly dog with severe heart disease who reached a point where the teeth had to be taken care despite her being high risk. All procedures were completed without a single issue and at a price that was fair and affordable. Despite the hour drive, I wouldn't go anywhere else. St. Frances is well worth the trip. 20 paws up from my pups! We HEART Dr. Sarah and her wonderful staff!

I don't see anything good in a hospital thatwould deny treatment to an animal that needs help. This was not intentional, but it happened. In a period of a week, the caretakers of my dogs missed two appointments, and I must admit, the excuse were along the lines of "my dog ate my homework" excuse, however, the reality is the first missed appointment was due to transportation issue involving a car wreck, and the 2nd time, one of the dogs in the household escaped during the transfer, so they had to go chase the dog down. I don't make appointments to deliberately miss them. It's just one of those things, and St Frances had this holier than thou attitude about it. My puppy has issues with ear infection which they have treated before (and yes, I didn't miss those past appointments), and now I have to look elsewhere to get visit. It's really got nothing to do with missing the appointment and more of my dogs health issue and they seem to not care about it. I don't see anything good in a hospital thatwould deny treatment to an animal that needs help.

I had taken my cat Zeek there for a few years and one of his chronic health conditions which flares up a few times a year is a day or two of vomiting. One bad spell lasted longer than usual and I called during the pandemic to bring him in. I was told he could not been seen because he gets cranky during his visits. He has never scratched or biten, just gets grumbly, I would have to take him elsewhere. So, he is now treated at a different vet, where he was happily seen during the pandemic.
