We love having this store in our community. Such a great resource for all things “bird”. I like the fact that they offer all the food, cages, toys, and everything else we need to care for our birdies. Plus they have grooming and boarding services. Our birdie we got there seems to be happy and healthy.

Bird Jungle is amazing. The BEST toy selection and variety of birds. The staff is so great!! Shout out to ROSA and CHRIS. They are so accomodating, knowledgeable and well versed in all things birds. Absolutely wonderful experience every time I am there. I have bought baby birds and adopted senior birds here. I highly recommend Bird Jungle!

i’ve board with bird jungle every now and again and i always just love the experience. Great supportive and highly knowledgeable team they have at Bird jungle. i’ve purchased cages over the years and up to boarding my birds. it’s warm and comfortable great selection of stuff you can get to provide for your feather companions. i will be going again and i highly recommend for anyone who is considering purchasing a feathered friend but always do research on which kind of species of bird you’re looking into, i say this only to help assist or to educate anyone who wants to adopt a bird, they are forever friends and it’s very rewarding to have in any welcoming home. i hope this long review could help anyone interested. Bird jungle is such a lovely place and they continue to strive.

Sorry but the saddest place I’ve ever been to. Parrots and Company in Stamford is SO MUCH BETTER and really cares about their birds. The birds here were all stacked up, stressed out and biting their feathers. There was one guy who was helpful but the owner woman was so rude and in not helpful. Google parrots and company - they aren’t too much farther and 100% worth the drive. I wish the birds at this place could be transported for better lives :(

I have been searching high and low for a Nanday conure and I can’t find them anywhere. Just one in Florida that wasn’t hand tame and older that I would have had to fly in. On a whim I found them on google and emailed them and they said they had one baby Nanday left so I took a two hour drive with my two toddlers in tow and went and met him and fell in love. He/she has only been home a couple hours but already super sweet and adjusting well. The only negative was that I didn’t really get a straight answer on the birds age that I was hoping for but other then that everything and everyone there was great!!

I got a bird there. A green cheek conure. He's pretty cool even when he tries to vote my toes. Bird Jungle is a good specialty bird store. Seems reasonably priced as well. It can loud and cramped in there so if you sensory concerns bear that in mind. Otherwise the staff was pleasant and helpful.

I traveled from the Bronx justto pick up 2 Zebra finches for my son because his flew out the window when I was cleaning their cage. The birds are absolutely beautiful and very healthy. The guy answered all my questions (I had a lot) he was very patient when he wanted a particular one and it took a few tries to wrangle the one he wanted. You can tell they really love the birds and take great care of them. I would definitely recommend them & go again for all my birds needs 🐦🐣💖

I discovered Bird Jungle in 2011 after I rescued my little cockatiel, Pasquale. I had no clue about birds when I first walked in with him, and the people at Bird Jungle were super welcoming and helpful in getting me situated with Pasquale’s new cage, food, and how to care for him. I return every couple of months to get Pasquale’s wings and nails trimmed, and replenish his food. I love how loving Bird Jungle is with the birds, and how their food is fortified with vitamins and a clean variety of ingredients. I always recommend this place as a go to for any bird owner.

I remember when I first walked in I felt welcomed. They take very good care of the birds and educate you with bird care. They have so much to look at and many options for food and toys. My bird hasnt had issues and I’ve had him for a little over a year. Definitely recommend buying your pet here.

Bird Jungle should be named a city treasure and added to must-see historic places in Westchester, NY. As a kid (over 20 years ago), I couldn't wait for a trip to see the birds and other animals. It's a little treasure that stands strong no matter what

We had questions, but staff didn't seem to be interested in answering or helping much. Answers were very short, and then they would walk away. My daughter and I have been discussing getting a bird, and I'm considering surprising her for her birthday in a few weeks. I guess they thought we were just browsing.

I was in here looking and got there 45 minutes before closing. The birds were already locked up for the night. It was dirty, the staff behind the desk quickly look down and avoided contact. Then the guy cleaning just kept telling us that they were closing. They were supposed to be opened until 8pm. I was so annoyed that no one approached us to ask if we had questions, etc. we easily could have purchased a bird, and had intended to on entering. I would rather give my money to anyone else. I used to be a client over 10 years ago when we had birds. I don’t know how they are still in business. Maybe because they are the only bird store around in Westchester.

Absolutely love Bird Jungle! They have the most incredible selection of exotic birds, and the staff is so knowledgeable and passionate about their well-being. The birds are healthy, well-cared for, and their enclosures are spacious. A must-visit for any bird enthusiast! Highly recommend this amazing exotic bird shop!

I love looking at the beautiful combination of birds. Doves, parrotkeets, parrots, cockatiels, cockatoos, and more, big and small. The Bird jungle has been in that location for 40 years. I remember seeing a peach colored cockatoo back in the late 80's that I would have purchased if I could afford it and had the ability to care for it. Such a heart touching experience to see the birds. A couple of free from their cage will actually let you hold them on your arm.

These guys are the best. I have to go away for work often and never have any trepidation about leaving my parrots with them. They get excellent care, clean cages and the staff actually learns who they are by name. It’s a top notch shop with amazing boarding and grooming.

I purchased my African grey here a few years ago. I stopped in to buy some food and toys and the vibe was so off. Rosa who has been there for years seems checked out. I mean at this point if your not happy find another job that fits you. The other two guys there seem just as unhappy. I do not recommend coming here unless you really need something. There are plenty of other bird stores where the energy is right and you feel good about spending your money. This place has gone way down hill.

Great place! I bought my green cheek here in December and they were really accommodating with when I could come back and pick him up. Also, they take care of your bird while you are away at really affordable rates, and with no need to book in advance! I always come in for questions and they are super helpful in answering. I bring my friends here all time to visit. Love it!

Very sad. I do not recommend. These poor birds are displayed in little stalls with only ONE perch. Everything is plastic and oversized, even the macaws had trouble getting a grip. No toys. No enrichment. Nothing. The less exotic birds were PACKED into small cages like a meat market. I keep thinking of the little ring neck doves stepping on each other. Extremely depressing. Do not recommend.

Please, do not buy your parrots here. Not only are there MANY parrots up for adoption/rehoming (for SIGNIFICANTLY less than what breeders are charging anyway!!!) this place has a HORRIBLE history of selling sick birds. I briefly worked in the vet field and I was disturbed by how many sick birds we saw from Bird Jungle. It was heartbreaking. Never bring your bird here for grooming as well since they would be exposed to anything the other birds have. In the 90s and early 2000s this place was all the rage, but its just not a reputable place to get your birds from.

I have been here numerous times. It has always been a nice place, but the last two times I went (POST COVID) it's not the same. The employees aren't as friendly as they used to be, I had my parrot's beak and nails filed down and the lady held my parrot too hard, she was pressing on his eyes, he was screaming like he never screamed before. I felt so horrible for him. Maybe the woman had a bad day or wasn't feeling up to par at that moment, but When I questioned her she walked away. I will never let them touch my bird again! I'm so disappointed that the shop has gone down hill.
