I came to shop in the evening. The staff was very nice, very helpful. I asked one associate to help me find something really quick and had no problem helping me. I felt very comfortable and the store is always clean as well as the bathroom is always clean. Thank you

Is unquestionably the filthiest store I have ever been in. Every time has been the same...aisles need to be swept and mopped. There is always stock just sitting in the aisles, next to nothing on the shelves. I can't believe it has been luck that every visit the store has been this deplorable. I will not return again.

Went in today to quickly grab change for my laundry. Asked the girl if I could exchange cash for change. The girl told me she was not able to open the drawer so I had to take money out of my laundry change to buy something so she could open the drawer. She at the end of the transaction tells me that she could have called the manager over to help but they’re too busy.I know the girl was not aware that I’m currently unemployed and had to scrounge up the singles to even get change for the machines. But instead I had to buy something to get a 5 dollar bill back. Super frustrating as she also had an attitude when she was dealing with me. It’s the same girl that will stand there chatting with people she knows instead of helping the customers.Today was just the last straw. I don’t mean to be a Karen, but it just frustrated me so I guess I am one now.

Wait time at the register has been crazy lately. Stood there today, with 3 other customers, for over 10 minutes and almost left my cart. The store has been a mess with inventory that needs to be put away, so I understand somewhat but they should have extra help scheduled so there is one employee at the register at all times. I have 2 newborn twins at home and sometimes I need to just pop in quick to grab a few things but there is nothing quick about it anymore

Love the staff here. They are always polite and allow for some customer retail interaction and the conversations are always good. They where having a rough day sp we brought them Smores (with items previously bought from the store) it made our day to be able to have done that for them!

Going in to Dollar General is like finding buried treasure. I go in for 1 item, then see things new in the store or on sale and I am hooked. A cartload later and I am one happy shopper. Make sure to check the app for those great coupons.

One of the employees paid the cents and I'm a pre teen so I don't really know the value so I had five dollars for Gatorade and got four Gatorades so I went to check out and I was 83¢ short and idk her name but she paid the cents thank you sm!!

I'm a Veteran came in with my Service Dog. Outstanding Customer Service!!! I appreciate you guys helping me out find what I needed.I locked my keys in my vehicle and they went far and beyond to help me out!So thank you guys! I look forward to doing my shopping with you again. I recommend anyone going here.Just Please be advised, Anyone who is legitimate having a"SERVICE DOG",Not A"THERAPY DOG"There is proper ID on the K9 Vest."Example" "PTSD SERVICE DOG on Vest" and usually Military patches like my K9 does. A THERAPY Dog is NOT the same and proper training qnd such is how this is obtained. There's too Many people acting like Veteran's and Certain Civilians will likely know what I'm talking about. I myself who needs their Service Dog, recognizes who DOES have a Service Dog, and who DOES NOT! These people pretending are ruining this for people like myself.Most of all people faking it are spitting in our faces whose Service Dog Saved Their Lives, Like My Life!It's same as "Stolen Valor" in my eyes.regardless thank you DOLLAR GENERAL. If you can see by my travels I visit dollar generals Stonegate frequently. Only needed two items and walked out spending over $220 😂😂 the cashier is usually more personablw during check out as she's been there quite a few times I've been there. Not sure if my children were distracting to her job, I'm happy I picked up the things I picked up so overall they'll get 5 Stars.

One cashier and one floor associate for mid day shift. The women's bathroom doesn't close or lock. Generally dirty and disorganized. The guy Dan was very nice and kept his cool despite rude customers though .

I actually like most Dollar General Stores. They do have most anything you could want. but this particular store. needs new management or someone to oversee the store appearance. This is the worst, messiest store I have ever been in. Shelves such a mess, isles messy, always in dis a ray. it is close to me but I'd drive 10 miles to Palenville to shop. That is how a store should present itself.

Not the best DG around. Lake Katrina n Kingston are better n cleaner. The staff at tbus one in simmons plaza are RUDE! They judge every person who walks in. N I know some of the staff n the things they tell me ,def should b told to someone cuz its just wrong. They are always out of milk, never have stocked shelves, things all over floor, nobody cleans and no masks half the time. If u have to go to this one in Simmons plaza I get it, but 3 min down the rodeos a great one n its clean, always stocked etc this locations needs help.

Love this store! Unlike true "one dollar" per item (Those are great too, ESPECIALLY for PARTIES) Tons of name brands for less! Of course ALWAYS check price vs. Quantity, Size or Weight. A common game! U pay less but you get less too!!Sorry movie theaters but those BOXES of candy are $1.00 here! I swing in & grab them here!

I shop daily spend 30 to 100 dollars each time.store 6514 dirty , shelves not properly stock.coffe sale started 6 /3 to 6/9 1 box on shelve. No q tips , clustered, blocked areas.cash registered open gives no receipts, one that gives receipt closed.This is at 1 pm.Been like this for more than a week.usaully I say due to lack of staff .There were 3 .Said something on coffee issue and receipt to manager.Due to coupon , taking survey, checking prices receipt is important

The staff is friendly but it seems poorly managed they run out of stock it’s sitting on carts not put out on the shelves. It’s really irritating going back two and three days in a row and the stock is still not out in fact it’s taking up space blocking a clear path of the aisle. I don’t recall it ever being this poorly run.

This store needs to hire more staff. I live around the corner and like to go there because it’s convenient but every time I go there I have to walk around carts of items that haven’t been out away and you have to wait 15 minutes for somebody to finally come to the register to ring you out. I get it sometimes you get a truck and you have to put merchandise away but it’s literally every single day of the week!! CRAZY

The saugerties location was much more dirty for a dollar general than I am used too. Disorganized and didn't seem like they carried ice . Was a camping trip so wanted ice for soda I purchased
