The Nu Pier is a local favorite, and for good reason. Throughout the many years I’ve gone for breakfast, it’s always been a good experience. They serve a classic diner style breakfast with eggs and home fries cooked perfectly. The bacon sometimes comes out a bit greasier than I’d like, but that may just be my unpopular opinion. The pricing has stayed consistent and cheap, and they’ve renovated the inside to give the interior a refreshing look. As for the service, the employees are efficient, with us only having to wait 10 minutes for our food. I recommend trying the Nu Pier if you’re looking for a good spot to grab some homestyle breakfast.

An upstate NY spring tradition Bullhead! I believe the Nu Pier may be one of the few places that carries them. Searched with freshly cut fries. Unfortunately the fries tasted as though the oil needed to changed and waitstaff was far from welcoming and/or friendly. The bullhead were small, tender and delicious. They run daily specials and homemade soups.

We pulled onto this little restaurant, and from the outside, it didn't raise expectations. A tiny roadside diner, it seemed. Once through the doors, it was more spacious than it seemed. Service was friendly and professional. Menu had interesting options, not the usual burgers and sandwiches, though those were available too. There were quite a few daily specials on a handwritten menu sheet. Food was very, very good! Portions were generous, pricing was inexpensive. A really good place to stop for breakfast or lunch!

This restaurant it’s got decent food. Been there two other times today I go there spend an hour my life and I watch tables that came in after me get their food so after the third table I got up I had enough all we ordered was two breakfast specials, two eggs, toast, and home fries it should be 10 minutes in and out from the kitchen. That’s all it should be their excuses we only have one cook one cook should be able to read the ticket to know who’s in front and who is behind !!!! it wouldn’t be so bad if the waitress at least acknowledged it she’s bringing out peoples food. They got there after we did. Alicia should’ve come over and said hey I don’t know what the Hells going on in the kitchen let me go check this is ridiculous or She should’ve went back there and said hey I got a table out there that’s only got a total of four eggs over easy home fries and toast. Your home fries are already premade. You just have to drop four pieces of toast And four egg's easy Peezy not at this restaurant, so if you want to waste your time at a restaurant, just is the place to come !!!!!

Our first time going to this very low-key restaurant. It was not super busy when my family went. Waitress was on top of everything and very patient as we were dealing with my young son, who was not thrilled about not being able to order their seafood- as it was breakfast time. Their breakfast was delicious- can't wait to go back to try the seafood!Parking: Parking spaces available out in front/side of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Waitress was patient with my family.

Super cute small place in the middle of no where (or so it seemed). First impressions when we walked in....ehhh. No one was overly friendly. We sat down and viewed the menus. Prices were pretty steep for a diner in the country. $13 for a burger and almost $3.50 for a soda! Some young girl took our drink order she seemed awkward but nice. Our sever...Walked up to our table and didn't say a word - and I mean not a word. I had to greet her and ask of she was ready to take our order. Our party of 4 are all in the service industry and she was one of the most miserable looking servers I have ever seen. Our food took what seemed a little long to come out. Tables around us sat after us and got their food first. When our food arrived my burger was room temperature and nothing spectacular by any means. Food portions were decent. Fries were awful and they should have changed their fryer oil a month ago. We ordered dessert (changed to a to go order as the guys were on bikes and we wanted to beat the rain). Received the check - party of four cost $94. WHAT! ! ! Charged us $1.00 for to go containers but didn't have forks to take with us. Definitely won't return here and we will plan our day better to go to a place we know. Lucky that I even gave 3 stars.

We love NuPier...always have. Since I now live out of the area we don't get there as often. Food is still great! The waitress was handling a very packed dining room by herself and doing a great job with a smile on her face at all times. This was on Father's day. If you have the chance to go there, make sure you try one of their fabulous desserts!

We had blts which were mostly veggies with minimal bacon. The kids had chicken tenders which were over cooked. The fries were great though.The waitress/ Bartender was inattentive and not personable at all.This is the first time we have ever visited here.It seems to be more bar focused than a restaurant.Not really a family friendly place we had a 5 and 6 year old with us for lunch after leaving old McDonald's farm.

We had some really good food here. I highly recommend the fired banana peppers. Even the kids couldn't get enough. We had the pastrami Reuben, open faced regular Reuben, and roast beef sandwich. All is them were extremely well done. We were very pleased with this place and would definitely go back.

I’ve read others have had similar experiences as me and my Grandmother today…The skinny older blonde waitress VERY RUDE. Not friendly at all! We got there 15 minutes before noon, and she was not happy that we wanted to order lunch. We said ok we’ll go somewhere else, and then she said she’d go ask the cooks, and walked away looking angry. She made us feel uncomfortable the whole time, like we were not wanted there. My Grandmas soup was cold, and the fries soggy. GET BETTER PEOPLE!

Cute little restaurant with very nice staff. There wasn't many people there but we did wait a good amount of time for our food and when it came two of the meals were messed up. However the waitress was very apologetic and went and fixed them right away. Overall I wasn't too bothered by the wait or the mix ups but I know some people would be so its something to keep in mind before coming here but I would come here again!

We stopped for dinner.So many choices we just loved that.Burgers are amazing, and the pie was delicious.Looking forward to next weeks dinner.Just outside of Sackets Harbor on county route 3.Enjoy.

It was really bad won't be back. Toast not really toasted and the amount of better on it you could of done about 6 pieces of toast. Really sad and you microwaved the sausage gravey . The waitress could of said good morning to us and other tables that came in. Sorry you failed No good report for your place years ago to was great.

We showed up about 20 minutes after they had quit serving breakfast, but they kindly made it for us anyway. The service was excellent, the dining room was quaint and comfortable, and the food was very good. It's classic greasy spoon, but not in a bad way. Most of us got the hungry man breakfast which came with a lot for a small price tag. Very pleased, we'll be back.

Awesome service and great food. You have to stop in if you want good home cooking. The burgers are hand made and delicious. The specials change daily and they have homemade desserts. I will add photos next time.

Very good food and outstanding service, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The prime rib torpedo with homemade fries and BBQ pulled pork were delicious. They even gave good advice on where to get good firewood. I will go back when in the area.
